CBS TV Fall 2018-2019

Murphy Brown and Magnum P.I are coming back to CBS as the two of the six new series will be premiering on CBS this fall 2018 schedule.

"Stability where we are strong, change where we need it," said CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl on describing the network's schedule for next season. With the network's biggest declines this past season was at Monday, that's where the biggest changes are coming, with the shrinking of the comedy block from two hours to an hour.

Shows Coming to an End:
Bones (FOX): After 11 seasons the on air the hit FOX drama closes it's case for one last season. I've been a fan since the beginning, when I saw the first trailer for the show. Then when it came to the premiere I fell in love with these characters, mostly Temperance Brennan, because she was different than I've seen on television for a female lead. Plus it was on before FOX's other hit show, House, M.D. which during that time I called them the sister-brother combo of Tuesday night Fox ( I know it sounds weird but to me these two felt like they were siblings in a way). As much as I hate to see a series end, I'm glad that the network has given them a final run for us (the fans) to have a last go around. I'm sure these last 12 episodes will be their best ones yet.

Grimm (NBC): After five seasons, the book will come to a close on the hit NBC supernatural-cop drama.  Just like Bones, I fell in love these characters, a lot and if I'm not mistaken, it's probably the only show that hasn't really let go of it's actors. I enjoy watching Nick, Hank, Wu, Adalind, Rosealee and Monroe every week. And yes, even though some aren't into it, I'm on the bandwagon of #Nadalind. The series was so different that I loved tuning in on Fridays (and other nights it was one at the beginning). For it to end I hope there's a happy ending with 13 episodes get ready for the best of all.

CBS picks up Bull, Kevin Can Wait an MacGyver for Full Seasons

Goof news for fans of the new series, Bull, Kevin Can Wait and MacGyver.

CBS announced Monday that they've picked up full season orders for the three shows, picking up a back nine order which will produce 22 episodes in their inaugural runs.

Bull, starring Michael Waeatherly as a pre-Oprah'd Dr. Phill, has so far proven it's Tuesday compantion worthy to Weatherly's previous series, NCIS. In the firt three episodes, the show is the fall's most watched new series, averaging 14.6 million live viewers and a 2.1 demo rating.

Kevin James' series Kevin Can Wait, with a 10.4 million and 2.5 is fall's No 1 comedy in both measures on Monday nights. While MacGyver average 9.3 million and a 1.4 demo. It's improved on The Amazing Race's 2015 fall average (5.9 million/1.1) in the Friday lead-off spot.

"We're thrilled viewers have embraced these three shows creatively," said CBS' entertainment president Glenn Geller in a statement. "Each one has made an immediate and positive impact on our schedule, while significantly contributing to growing their respective nights."

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Monday night's at 8:30/7:30c, Bull Tuesday nights at 9/8c and MacGyver Fridays at 8/7c all on CBS.

CBS Announces Premiere Dates

On Tuesday, CBS became the fourth broadcasting network to announce their premiere plan for the 2016-2017 season. As NBC, FOX and The CW did last week and it looks like the eye network will once again kicks things off with Thursday Night Football on Sept. 15.

The network announces it's new six-hour douc-series Case Closed, which examines the unsolved JonBenet Ramsay murder, which will air over three nights beginning on Sunday, Sept 18, Monday Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 25 during premiere week.

Also for fans of Scorpion and Two Broke Girls, they'll return with a super-sized episodes.

Bull - First Look

Well, it didn't take that long but Michael Weatherly is back on CBS. Weatherly stars as Dr. JAson Bull in a drama inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, the founder of one of the most prolific trail consulting firms of all time. Brilliant, brash and charming, Dr. Bull is the ultimate puppet master as he combines psychology, human intuition and high tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick.

Bull employs an enviable team of experts at Trail Analysis Corporation to shape successful narratices down to the very last detail. They include his quick-witted brother-in-law Benny Colon (Freddy Rodriguez), who plays a defense attorney in mock trails; Marissa Morgan (Geneva Carr), a cutting-edge neurolinguistics expert from the Department of Homeland Security; former NYPD detective Danny James (Jaime Lee Kirchner), the firm's tough but relatable investigator; haughty millennial hacker Cable McCrory (Annabelle Attanasio), who is responsible for gathering cyber intelligence; and Chuck Palmer (Chris Jackson), a fashion-conscious stylist and former ALL-America lineman who fine tunes clients' appearances for trail.

In high-stakes trails, Bull's combination of remarkable insight into human nature, three Ph. D.'s and a top-notch staff creates winning strategies that tip the scales of justice in his clients' favor.
