A Night with Stars: Timeless "Hollywoodland"

Image result for Timeless hollywoodland

With the moment that we all been waiting for comes with a twist at the end that maybe no one could see coming.

With no Emma in this episode, the Time Team tracks the Mothership to the 1941 where Rittenhouse tries to steal the work-print of the movie Citizen Kane and trying to sell it to William Randolph Hearst (who's the film is based on). Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus bumps into Hedy Lamarr, who doesn't taken as a fool and figures out that they aren't really who they are, but helps the team search for the man, who's taken the secret films.

In the meantime, Jiya, gets examined for her condition that Agent Christopher has only found out and comes to the concussion that she's fine and even better that her heart murmur is fixed. Which kind of leads to Mason dealing with something new then what they had dealt in the past. Lucy and Christopher tries to get Flynn to help again, but if they want him to help he needs to get out before Rittenhouse kills him in prison. After given a tip, Christoper helps him with a breakout that Time Team sets up in his own prison cell 50 years later.

But with the hunt for the secret films, Wyatt and Lucy share the moment that we've all been waiting for as they kiss and slept together. The two seem to be the item now in the relationship, but a twist comes at the end of the episode that really would take the fans in shock as Wyatt escapes the compound to see someone at a local tavern, where he walks up to Jessica, his wife who's alive and well.

"Hollywoodland" was an action-less episode that still delivered a story that it worthy of watching that had a lot of fun, educational and dramatic moments. From learning of what Lamarr did for WiFi and to even what Citizen Kane as about (check that film out!). There were many memorable moments from Lucy singing in front of a crowd while looking at Wyatt to Lamarr and Rufus discussing her scientific ideas foe the future. I'd very much enjoyed this episode. The performances from the cast from Spencer, Lanter, Goran and even Claudia Doumit as Jiya.

Does anyone think that the kiss from Wyatt and Lucy might have changed history to make Jessica like she had never died? With Jiya's seizures not seem to be life threatening now, would that make it to help them in advice against Rittenhouse? And how crazy would it have been if Jurassic Park was made back in the 1940's?

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Timeless returning in two weeks from Sunday at 10/9c on NBC.

Driving and Finishing: Timeless "The Darlington 500"

Image result for timeless the darlington 500

Nothing like driving in the fast line back in the 1950's to get your blood pumping right?

This week's episode takes our #TimeTeam to Sept. 4, 1955 where the Mothership is Darlington, South Carolina, thanks to Flynn's tip-off about a Rittenhouse-affiliated address. That's where they make the discover that Rittenhouse is after a NASCAR race driver Ryan Millerson, who is to race at the Darlington 500.

But at the track, they realize that Millerson is one of the sleeper agents for Rittenhouse and just before getting into trouble again with Emma, black race car driver Wendell Scott saves them from being killed. The team finds a bomb in Millerson's car and learn that it's intended to murder the automotive executives that are attendance, so that Rittenhouse could take over the auto industry.

But when they get Wendell to sneak them back into the track to stop Rittenhouse, Wyatt kills Millerson, not before the bomb is armed and drives the car with cops on their tails back to Wendell's garage. With the cops passing by, Rufus defuses the bomb.

Meanwhile, back in the present, Mason makes a bold move of making a public appearance that's against Agent Christopher's orders. She comes in just before he goes on and makes a sense of his arrest and takes him back to the compound. Along with that Jiya as been seen visions of what the future may be looking as she saw Rufus's arm looking burned, but when he gets back from 1955 his arm was burned.  But Keynes reveals his vision to make a perfect humanity by cutting away the flaws.

"The Darlington 500" was an amazing storytelling episode of not only what NASCAR was back in the day but what it's like for a fan, like Wyatt. You really see Wyatt's character light up with excitement as a fan would when meeting their heroes. I couldn't get enough o Wendell Scott in this episode but also learning about him as well.  It still give that thrill and intense with the car chase, the surprises of Millerson being a sleeper agent and what's to come next that really give this show something to look forward. The writing was good and the performance was strong. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Timeless Sundays at 10/9c on NBC.

The Gang is Back! Timeless "The War to End Al Wars" Season Premiere

Image result for timeless "The War to End All Wars"

It's the season premiere that we've all been waiting! Timeless is back and premiere doesn't disappoint let don't let off on the gas.

When we jump into season 2, Mason Industries has been bombed almost leaving Wyatt and Rufus in the time machine in danger, but they do survive thanks to Agent Christopher, who relocates them to an abandoned military compound. Wyatt wants to look for Lucy, thinking that she's alive while Christopher doesn't want him to get his hopes too high. But Lucy is alive and with her mother, who we learned in the season finale that she's with Rittenhouse.

After the bombing, we jump six weeks later finding Lucy with Carol and Emma traveling to the Battle of Saint-Miihel, France in 1918 to find an injured solider, Nicholas Keynes and bring him back to 2018. But Emma puts Lucy in a tight position when she wants her to murder Keynes' squad-mate, who's was asking way too many questions seeing things being done.

While repairing the Lifeboat, Wyatt and Rufus find where the Mothership and get there to rescue Lucy and when they get there, they find that she's trying to sabotaged Carol's mission. But in the meantime, Wyatt and Rufus comes in between a member of Rittenhouse and after kicking some butt, find a copy of Keynes's 1910 Rittenhouse time travel manifesto from a modem Rittenhouse agent that's fully integrated into the past.

While in the present, Mason, who feels useless, tries to develop an algorithm to track the Mothership's movement and Jiya's illness continues to get worsen.

To help save Keynes, Lucy gets Marie Curie and Irene Joliot-Curie, who using a "petite Curie" radiography unit (an x ray). But when they left and discover the Mothership, Emma threatens to kill them. Lucy stops her and comes in between them, but Emma would kill all three if Wyatt and Rufus didn't get there in time but with an exchange. With the Curies fleeing, Emma, Carol and Keynes left while Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus are back together and get back to 2018.

Back in the present, looking at the manifesto, Wyatt thinks that Rittenhouse had placed sleeper agents throughout history thinking that Emma, for example, was placed there not by accident but to get things moving. Meanwhile, Carol wakes up Keynes, who we learn is her grandfather. And in order to get help, Christoper goes to the one person who knows what Rittenhouse will do next, Flynn. But he will only talk to Lucy about all of this mess.

The season premiere opened up like a fright train that was't going to stop for one second. The episode really sets the series in an amazing direction for these characters and some mind blowing moments, with Keynes being the great grandfather of Lucy. But the moments for me have to be watching Lucy reunite with Wyatt and Rufus for the firs time since leaving with her mother and the almost kiss moment between her and Wyatt was nothing but intense moment. Just like last season, I'm all in for this season with where this show will be going. Good character development and the writing was good as well. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Timeless Sundays at 10/9c on NBC.

Timeless Season 2 Returns in March

Image result for timeless season 2

Looks like the next time trip for Timeless will be this spring as Season 2 will premiere Sunday, March 11th at 10/9c on NBC announced on Monday.

Ending the freshman finale with a shocking revelation that Lucy's mom is Rittenhouse! Flynn's been arrested and something is happening to Jiya! The season two opener, titled :The War to End All Wars," will find Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus traveling to World War I as seen in a TVLine exclusive.

The season premiere will introduce a new recurring character: Nicholas Keynes (played by Michael Rady ("UnREAL's")), who is an American solider in WWI. After getting badly injured during battle, Keynes is carried to a farmhouse, where he is cared for by Emma (Annie Wersching) and Carol (Susanna Thompson), who want to save his life. Though he seems helpless at first, Keynes is much more formidable than he initially appears.

Also coming into Season 2, our time traveling heroes will explore the Salem Witch Trails and Hollywood circa the early 1940s.

The series, that was once cancelled and brought back, will follow a three hour American Ninja Warrior special: USA Vs. The World, which will air at 7/6c that night.

Shocking News: NBC reverses Cancelled Timeless

Image result for timeless nbc

In a weird turn of events, the television gods has granted a miracle that NBC has reserved their decision on the cancelled series Timeless.

TVLine has learned that the NBC time traveling series, that was cancelled this week, will come back for a second season.

Star Matt Lanter broke the news on a Facebook video shooting as his character, Wyatt.

"I just want to hop on and tell you that I think the mission was successful," he says as his character. "we went back, and I'm pretty sure we changed NBC's minds. So yeah, we've got more episodes coming. See you real soon."

Timeless was the sixth rated series on NBC and after four days of it's cancellation the decision was reversed at the time the series co-creator, Eric Kripke tweeted that he and his co-creator, Shawn Ryan, would try to find another home and that the "odds are long."

The show is likely to air some time in 2018, possibly Spring 2018.

#Timeless is trending in the Top 3 on Saturday after the news broke and I don't think it'll stop anytime soon. Fans of the show were campaigning their butts off to make sure that the show would get a second season and it looks like it finally has worked.

I'm so thrilled that this show is coming back. It's such has such a great group of actors and the writing has been unbelievable. Even learning about history in a different way has been mind blowing at times some that I never even learned from school.

The Blacklist, Blindspot, Fire, PD and Med gets Renewal, But Timeless is Timeout

Image result for the blacklist season 4

NBC has announced Thursday that The Blacklist will be back for a fifth season, so grab another drink and a fedora hat for the Fall.

The 22 episode renewal comes as Season 4 gets ready for a showdown between Reddington and his confident-turned-enemy Mr. Kaplan.

The series creator Jon Bokenkamp tells TVLine that Mr. Kaplan "will undermine (Red's) criminal empire in ways he never expected" and "intends to take him apart piece by piece" in the season's final installments.

The Blacklist has average thus far this season 5.4 million weekly with a 1.0 demo rating, down 20 to 30 percent from Season 3.

You can catch the Two hour season finale next Thursday at 9/8c on NBC. No word about the spinoff series The Blacklist: Redemption on getting renewed.

Meanwhile, Wednesday was with joy and heavy hearts for fans.

First, on Wednesday night, NBC has renewed Chicago Fire and it's spinoff series Chicago PD and Chicago Med learned from TVLine. Fire will be heading into it's sixth season while PD in it's fifth and Med in it's third.

No decision on Chicago Justice, but I think that too will get picked up.

Blindspot gets pulled out of the bubble category as it gets picked up for a third season. The renewal comes as the viewership dropped sharply when last season's #1 hit show moved from Mondays at 10pm to Wednesdays at 8 for Season 2.

But for fans of Timeless the news comes to shock and with heavy hearts that the series won't get picked up for a second season.

Eric Kripke, the executive producer/co-creator confirmed the news on Twitter saying that the "odds are long, but trying to find another home" for the series.

The show average 4.6 million total viewers and a 1.1 demo rating, it was NBC's No. 6 rated drama, matching fellow freshmen Chicago Justice and the recently renewed Taken and besting out on The Blacklist, Blindspot and Shades of Blue. But the series has had an enjoyed boost in the DVR.

The show's season 1 finale left in a cliffhanger, with Lucy discovering that her mother Carol is part of the mysterious Rittenhouse organization.

Timeless "The Red Scare" Season Finale

Image result for timeless nbc

Holy mother of god!!! WOW! WOW! WOW!

Talk about a show that really does need to come back. Last night's season finale of Timeless was nothing but astonishing. Here's a recap with spoilers....

The episode picks as Lucy and Wyatt make it back to the present day with an injured Rufus. Lucy calls for the one person that can help them, Noah. Soon, with the NSA and Rittenhouse on their tails, Lucy, Wyatt, Rufus and Jiya get in the lifeboat and jump to 1954 leaving Agent Christopher to handle with the goons.

In 1954 that's when the next Rittenhouse meeting would take place, so Flynn meets and blackmails Joseph McCarthy on where Rittenhouse meeting would be taken place. After he gets the information, Flynn tells him some information about two Russian spies that happen to be Lucy and Wyatt.

As Wyatt and Lucy try to get in the Capital, they get caught and taken in. Lucy meets with Flynn and he tells her that he'll be taken everyone out, including her grandfather as a fair warning to her because who knows what would happen after. Meanwhile, Wyatt has a nice chat with McCarthy and of course, he doesn't say anything but leaves a nice present (knocking out both guards and McCarthy out).

Lucy and Wyatt escape but now tries to find her grandfather, who happens to be at a gay night club. They meet with him and asked for his help to get to the Rittenhouse meeting, there they sneak in the back way and meet with Flynn. Wyatt was about to take a shot at him but Lucy makes the bold move and talks to Flynn of a deal.

Back at the lifeboat, Rufus and Jiya have a nice moment scenes but things get dicey when her eye gets red and starts to have seizures. This could be the effect from traveling in fours. But Lucy and Wyatt come back wit Flynn and Lucy's grandfather and they show him the lifeboat and that she's her granddaughter.

Lucy gets Wyatt, Rufus and Jiya back in the lifeboat and back to present time as she'll comeback with Flynn on the other one. Who knows what would be happening here, but Lucy tells her grandfather to do a double life as to be apart of Rittenhouse and keep secret records til she gets back to the present time for which he did, a ton of it.

Agent Christopher and Mason work together again as he was playing Rittenhouse like a fiddle and got into the top secret files that no one else in the world knows about. They both meet with Lucy and Wyatt and use those records and charged the people of Rittenhouse with many, many counts.

Lucy meets with Flynn and gives him the information about who killed his family. But before things were going so well, Agent Christopher and her team come in and arrested Flynn. I really thought that he was going to get want he really wanted and be done with it. I guess not.

We all thought that it was going to be over. Christopher tells Lucy and Wyatt that after all of this there's one more mission to get her sister back. After a very lovely moment with Wyatt and word that the lifeboat won't be ready for three hours, that gave her some time to tell her mother about what she's going to do and why. But with a twist unlike any other, after she tells her mom what she was going to do, she tells her she knows that Rittenhouse wouldn't let her die at all because she is part of Rittenhouse as she and her father met or arranged to be together as they're like royalty.

But also, the lifeboat is taken away once again but this time, it was by someone who knew it by heart, Emma. Emma takes the lifeboat and here's where we'll go for Season Two if the network picks up the series.

I literally loved this episode. I was flabbergasted on how it ended that it took me a while to process what had happen. The writing was excellent. Everyone from Spencer, Lanter, Goran and even Paterson Joseph was outstanding. Loved the warm moments like Lucy and Wyatt near the end and Rufus and Jiya both in 1954 and in the present time. Should we be worried about her later on after she seemed to have one of those spells that could have taken the Golden State bridge away? I do want a season two and along with everyone, who's seen the show and last night's episode we're all dying to see what happens next. Come on NBC, I'm sure there's a spot for Timeless for next season. I'm sure it depends on how many episodes. Come on NBC!! Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10.

Timeless "The Lost Generation"/"Pubic Enemy No.1"

Image result for timeless nbc

"The Lost Generation"

"The Lost Generation" is another amazing episode and story builder as we reach the last couple of episodes of the season.

With Wyatt arrested and taken to a secret undercover blacksite, Lucy and Rufus still has to deal with Flynn as he travels back to Paris 1927 the day that Charles Lindbergh completed his trans-Atlantic flight, in this case almost did.

During this episode, Lucy gets a little understanding of what her dad tells her about Rittenhouse, that it's not only a legacy, it's in her blood. She threatens to take down it but he doesn't believe that she would, hell he even said that he said and did at the time he learned about Rittenhouse.

Just before the mission, Rufus learns about Lucy's dad, gets a bit upset, but they move on to the next mission along with a new solider ( I rather call it a new companion), Bam Bam (as Wyatt calls him). They go back sees that Flynn has been around and tat Lindbergh had crashed his plane. As they got word they bump into another famous face, Ernest Hemingway at the time a journalist and author of one book. I don't know about you, but I would probably enjoy having Hemingway as a life coach after this episode.

Another famous face was Josephine Baker, back then she was the Beyonce at that time which was the best description. They asked for her help in finding Lindbergh and soon later Bam Bam spotted Emma with Flynn's hitch-man along. Soon they followed them outside where then gunfire was exchange, hitting Bam Bam and dying.

Lucy, Rufus and Hemingway search for Lindbergh, they come to an abandoned house, as Hemingway asked for help (he was about to punk), Lucy looks around by herself and gets caught and taken to Flynn. There Flynn and Lucy talk: about Rittenhouse, her father and of course, Lindbergh. Lindbergh is one of Rittenhouse and Flynn wants some answers and Lucy offered a deal if she can get him to talk about them in exchange for his safety. Flynn agrees and hears the name Cheviot, as one of the members and soon went to meet him to have a chat about Rittenhouse.

Rufus and Hemingway had some nice scene together one of them Hemingway trying to spark up Rufus that got him motivated and found both Lucy and Lindbergh. But on their way out Emma was there and after Rufus gave her the option to either come along or let them through and not get shot; she let them through.

Meanwhile, while all of this was happening, Agent Christopher gets word that she is no long in command that the NSA has taken over. She goes to Wyatt about it and discuss why there are over a dozen of people just like that to come in and take over. It all made sense when it all connects to Rittenhouse. Christopher offers him a deal but Wyatt denies it but after she left, she leaves him with a paperclip to escape, which he did and soon meet with her, Lucy and Rufus back at their secret location (Warehouse).

Just before the episode ended, Lucy talks with her mom about meeting her dad. She tells Lucy that she wouldn't have anything different knowing what a fine woman she has turned out, but also gives her a gift something to express her feelings when she's upset about something: which happens to be the journal that Flynn has been holding and getting his information.

I enjoyed this episode so much. The writing was strong and the cast from Spencer, Barrett and even Brandon Barash as Hemingway was amazing and so much fun to watch. Even Wersching was good and she only had a couple of scenes in the episode. As I said before I loved that scene with Rufus and Hemingway talk about fighting the good fight. It really made me want to do something bold that I never done before. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

"Public Enemy No. 1"

The team is reunited and it just feels so so good (even though it was only about an episode since Wyatt left).

"Public Enemy No. 1" not only brings the team back together again, but gives us one hell of a cliffhanger that'll dive right into the season finale, that I'm sure we're all looking forward to.

With no success on capturing Flynn, Agent Neville orders Rufus and Lucy to go back to 1963 and take out Flynn's mother and this time they have no choice otherwise. So as they take off with another solider (terminator look-alike), they make and took out or knock out their solider companion, headed back to present day to meet with Wyatt and Christopher. There we learn that Rufus placed a temporary virus to the computer's mainframe back at the post so Mason and Rittenhouse couldn't find them.

Now, with a stolen time machine and not working with Rittenhouse, Wyatt suggested that they should go and save Lucy's sister. But as soon as they get ready to do so, Rufus gets word that Flynn jumped to 1931. Lucy doesn't want to go after Flynn but Wyatt tells her that they should take one problem at a time, stop Flynn from whatever he's doing and then go save her sister.

There Flynn meets with Al Capone and informs him about he would be put in jail on tax evasion. After the charges being dropped by the court, Capone grants Flynn with a favor: to meet with the mayor and ask about the Rittenhouse meeting.

After seeing Capone gone with Flynn, Lucy and gang heads to the one person that can stop Capone, Eliot Ness, who isn't happy. They talk at his place about Flynn and Capone and just before they plan to do something, Capone had a guy come and shoot the place up, killing Ness. So the one person now that Lucy and the gang can go to is the one person that knows Capone...his brother.

Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus meets with Richard Hart and asked him for help to take down his brother. After some convincing, they headed over there and it was a family reunion until it turned into an argument of betrayal after Hart tells him he's taken him in. Guns go up in the air three get shot, Capone, his hitch man and Rufus.

Lucy and Wyatt tend to Rufus, who was bleeding pretty badly. They get him up and drive back to the time machine. They get Rufus in his seat and set everything up but by the the time everything was a go, Rufus looses consciousness and we leave it there.

Other things: With Rufus' plan of diversion, Mason takes things to his own hands and place Jiya in holding after she had made contact with Rufus on a burner phone. As Mason tries to get things back up and spotted where Rufus is at, Jiya builds her own computer and takes out the system again. IT's the first time I've enjoyed watching Jiya this season. Also, Flynn gets word from Chicago Mayor William Hale Thompson about the next Rittenhouse meeting would be in 1954, for which that's where he'll be in the season finale.

This was just another amazing episode that had fun moments like Wyatt telling Rufus and Lucy to leave Ness' dead body behind because they didn't have no IDs and he's wearing button-fly jeans from the GAP. Trilling when Jiya and Mason butted heads, that gave me a coupe of chills. The writing was amazing once again and so was the acting from Spencer, Lanter, Barrett and even Goran Visnjic, who had an amazing first open scene at a church and talking to the priest about life and the possibilities to change it if it all matters in the end. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch the season finale of Timeless tonight at 10/9c on NBC.

Flashback: Timeless "Karma Chameleon"

Image result for timeless nbc

Going to back to stop from a killer being born is one thing, but going back to stop someone from meeting is another in this week's episode of Timeless.

After coming back from their previous mission, Wyatt asked Rufus to help him stop his wife's killer, meaning that they had to stop his parents from ever meeting. Sounding dangerous, Rufus agrees but Wyatt tells Lucy about it before everything was a go.

Wyatt and Rufus sells it like Wyatt made Rufus stealing the lifeboat. The time: March 1983 and Wyatt and Rufus look like an early look of Sonny and Crockett, in my opinion. We see a whole lot of flashback shows from The A-Team to Manmianl (my favorite even though I was born in 1989).

Wyatt finds the killer's mother and purses to have a relationship, but the bartender tends to be the killer's father too. Every time Wyatt tries to separating them, there always seems to be something else comes between them, like a drunken passenger from a previous flight or a cop that got in a way. Also let alone there was a storm coming too.

After Wyatt was help free from the cop from Rufus, he runs towards the mother's hotel room where she and the bartender were getting it on. Wyatt rushes in and pulls the guy out and takes him out for a drive but the winding being too strong couldn't get his keys and the guys makes a dash until he trips, flies over a car and landing on the parking stomp on his head, killing him. Wyatt devastated about it tells Rufus that he didn't want it to have it like this let alone his own wife too.

They come back and he gets the news from Lucy that his wife is still dead and that they killer hasn't been found. Seems like Flynn played him very well and watching Wyatt react and being taken away was just painful to watch.

Meanwhile, while Wyatt and Rufus was having flashback to the 80's, Lucy gets to have a meeting with Anthony about how all of this mess that Rittenhouse has caused could all end, blowing up the lifeboat with C-4 in Oakland. But it turns out that Anthony was shot dead and that the lifeboat is gone along with Flynn and Emma (who knows a lot more than Anthony anyway).

But after meeting with Anthony, Lucy learns from Agent Christopher about the man that Mason has been meeting with, the man that turns out to be her father. After the accident, she meets with her father again and confronts him with all of this Rittenhouse, which all is true and he comes forward with the truth. Also that all of this Rittenhouse is her legacy, that's in her blood and it seems that it looks like that he'll be part of her life now more thane ever.

I thought that this episode was fabulous. This episode was interesting from the time we had a Lucy-Wyatt moment to the end when Lucy's father explains Rittenhouse to her. Even though we learn more about Rittenhouse, I this episode was more about Wyatt and his mission to get his wife back. Matt Lanter really does a great job in this episode along with Abigail Spencer and Malcolm Barrett. Love the music and clips of shows from the 80's (who doesn't?). I thought the writing was really good. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

There's only two more episodes before the season finale. You can catch Timeless Monday nights at 10/9c on NBC.

Timeless "The Murder of Jesse James"

Image result for timeless nbc

Not only does this episode was a lot of fun to watch, but also it dived deeper into someone from the past.

Our three main characters face their not so good moments in the beginning of the episode, Wyatt meets with his wife's killer. Rufus gets a kiss from Jiya and news that she'll be operating the time machine (but not too soon) and Lucy dream of having a bad conversation with her sister.

They get a call that Flynn has gone to April 3, 1882, for which was the date that Jesse James was murdered by his own crew, for a pardon from the government. But before that even ever happen, Flynn stops James' crew from killing him and instead Flynn kills the crew, offers him a drink and ask for his assistants.

When Lucy and company get there, they were a bit too late. So with no clue what to do and being a couple steps behind, a dazed and lost Lucy figures out who they could help them, U.S. Marshall Bass Reeves, aka The Lone Ranger. They also get to meet his side kick Grant Johnson. Wyatt does call him another name, but insults him because it means stupid or slow.

Anyway, the Lone Ranger and crew set off to find Flynn and James. With no clue what Flynn was doing, we do get an understanding in the present after Jiya does some okay testing of driving the time machine. She looks into the video history files of what she could learn from and finds someone who is declared to be dead after a bad accident. It turns out to be someone Rufus worked with before Wyatt and Lucy came.

Flynn and James gets to the place and soon they are getting attacked with gun fire. Flynn tells James to stand down, while he goes and has a talk with the person. That person happens to be the same person that Jiya saw in the video and has worked with Rufus, Emma. She appears has a lot of electronics for someone in the 19th century. Flynn offers her out of here and for to help him. They leave while given Jesse James a deadly gun that he has never used before and waited for Lone Ranger and crew to get there.

As they get there, Rufus was shocked and amazed that Emma is alive. Soon James starts shooting up the cabin, hitting Grant and killing him. Wyatt and Bass goes out there as Wyatt shoots James in the shoulder. Wanting to kill him, Bass talks him down but Lucy shoots James in the back as history calls it but this time in a different way.

After that event, Lucy gets the award money for killing Jesse James from Bass. He tells her and the guys that he doesn't believe in killing but holding the law to those that broke it and that they should face it. Rufus tells him that he should tell his stories so people will remember them, because someone like Disney would have someone else known as The Lone Ranger and someone like Johnny Depp playing his sidekick (EW!!).

As the crew gets back, Rufus tells Mason and Agent Christoper about Emma's alive and is with Flynn. Soon, Mason joins with Jiya at the time machine lifeboat and discusses what she had done and threatens her. But they move on with Rufus watching almost all of their conversation. After that, Wyatt comes to Rufus asking to use the Lifeboat to do something...kill his wife's killer for which will be an adventure for next Monday's episode.

If I had to use one word to describe this episode...fun. It was just down right run to watch this episode and the writing was so damn good. It kept me amazed and interested. Coleman Domingo was amazing as Bass Reeves, "stunning" as one person who watched it with me calls him. Annie Wersching playing Emma, was a really good choice, even though she didn't have a lot of lines, only a few but her expressions really can say it all. I recommend to everyone to watch this episode, this is popcorn episode viewing my friend! Popcorn viewing episode!!! Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Fear is Not Real: Timeless "The World's Colombian Exposition"

Timeless is back and we pick off right where we left off and leaving us on the edge of our seats.

Wyatt and Rufus get back to present day and search for Lucy, even though they had to wait til the machine cools down for four hours. They find her in Chicago at the World's Fair in 1892. Trying to figure out why that time and place would be somewhat a plan from Flynn with a double edge sword

Flynn takes Lucy and tries to get Harry Houdini to get inside the meeting of three of the biggest minds of the 20th Century (Edison, Ford and Morgan). But when they get in, it back fires on Flynn and Houdini leaves Flynn handcuff for now and recuse Lucy.

Meanwhile, the other reason why Flynn chosen this time and place was to lured them into Murder Castle owned by H. H. Holmes. Trapped with two other people, Wyatt and Rufus tries to
breakaway and old brick to get someone to hear them as they are in an airtight soundproof room. They will escape thanks to Lucy and Harry and the meeting between Lucy and Wyatt was like fireworks.

They try to find Holmes but only found the caretaker. While looking for Holmes, Lucy spots a photo of Holmes and it turns out that the guy that was with Wyatt and Rufus was actually Holmes himself.

He takes her to the basement to burn her. Fear as she should, she learned what Harry had told her and used that against Holmes, pretending to be a psychic. That gave enough time for Wyatt and Rufus to get there and save her. Eventually, Wyatt kills Holmes and the three get back to present day. Rufus declares war against Rittenhouse, as he's done with the recordings. Of course, Mason doesn't like it, but goes with it.

At the end, Wyatt gets a call from Flynn about returning the favor that he promised back in the previous episode with Benedict Arnold. He give the name that killed his wife and where he is at, but he can't go there so suggested that he should go back and kill his parents or something to that nature.

This was one hell of an episode coming back from a month hiatus. The story was amazing and I was just overly amazed from what they really did in this episode from Holmes, Murder Castle, World's Fair and even Houdini as well.

It's just mind blowing. It literally took me awhile to figure out that the guy hanging with Wyatt and Rufus was Holmes. The writing was amazing, the performances from the actors was great as well. Overall I give this episode a 9/10.

Late last week, co creator Eric Kriple written a letter to fans about the state of the show. It list that the show is doing great on every level expect for live viewing and pleased fans to gets everyone to tune in 10/9c. Here's that tweet of the letter.

Awkward Teamwork: Timeless "The Capture of Benedict Arnold" Fall Finale

Image result for timeless nbc

It's the fall finale and it doesn't come with a few surprises too.

We find out about that mysterious letter that Flynn found in a secret clock at the museum from the previous episode. It so happens to be a letter by Benedict Arnold about Rittenhouse and a meeting.

When Lucy and Co. get word about Flynn, they headed to 1780 and when they tried to see George Washington, they get caught instead. Just as they were waiting, Flynn comes in and gives them the opportunity to work together after telling them about the letter he found that was written by Arnold.

After some convincing words, Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus agreed to work together. They had to go to the other side (Great Britain) and fool Arnold about joining their side. When they were alone, Flynn and them tied him up and demanded answers about Rittenhouse. Here comes the shocking part (if you were think it was) that Rittenhouse is a person, not a group.

The man is David Rittenhouse, and he is a disgusting jerk as you could ever have met someone back in the late 1700s. When Arnold takes agreed and took them to Rittenhouse, things didn't go the way Flynn wanted it, that was for sure.

Apparently, they weren't the only ones trying to kill Rittenhouse. Caught in the act, everyone gets held up expect for Rufus, who's outside with the workers of the house. Rittenhouse kills Arnold and tries to kill Wyatt and Flynn til Rufus comes in and shoots the bodyguards. Then after Wyatt and Flynn were free, Flynn shoots and kills Rittenhouse but as he said that killing him wouldn't stop it. That gave Flynn the go after Rittenhouse's son, John.

When Flynn goes after John, Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus runs after Flynn to not let him kill the boy. But when Flynn gets to the boy, Lucy gets in front of him and talks him down til the boy leaves. That made Flynn grab Lucy and take her to his time machine and leave to where ever the hell they were going. I guess this would be the part in Lucy's journal that she would be traveling with Flynn.

I thought that this was a very good episode. We finally learned about what or who is Rittenhouse. I really thought that it was a group of people trying to make things their own. I thought this was a very good episode between Lucy and Flynn, as it was more of these two. The writing was good and I learned something more about Washington that I didn't know, he was called him a different name then just General.

Now this kind of open up the possibility of what will happen next. Where did Flynn take Lucy and how will Wyatt and Rufus get her back. I think we're in for a real ride when the show comes back in the new year.

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10

Love Is What They All Need: Timeless "Last Ride with Bonnie & Clyde"

Image result for timeless nbc

A hunt for a necklace key holds must hold something that Flynn is after, but the issue comes when it's in the hands of the one and only Bonnie and Clyde.

After an embarrassing dinner with her fiance, Lucy's called to go back to May 22, 1934 in Arkansas and find Flynn who's after Bonnie and Clyde. When Lucy, Rufus and Wyatt get there, the three split up, Rufus walking around while Lucy and Wyatt walk into the bank. But it wasn't too long before Bonnie and Clyde showed up and soon guns go a blazing.

Wyatt and Lucy tell them that they too are bank robbers and joined them in their own getaway car, without Rufus. Rufus gets caught by Texas Ranger Frank Harmer, who questions him about why he was there and not to make things worst, Flynn was working with Harmer too. But as Rufus was being asked if he's name was who Flynn says he is, he shows him his ID that says he's Wesley Snipes. HA! I can dig it!

Well, Harmer let Snipes go and brought in Henry Methvin, one of the Barrow gang members, and tells Harmer where Bonnie and Clyde are at. Rufus uses that information to head over because Wyatt and Lucy were with them there.

Hanging out with Bonnie and Clyde and listening to them how they met. They asked about the key necklace that Bonnie wears and that Clyde stole it from Henry Ford and that it must be valuable because Ford offers $50,000 for its return. Soon the two asked Lucy and Wyatt how they met and their first time. Wyatt tells them in a great amount of detail how he met Lucy. Probably one of the most heartwarming moment that Wyatt has been this season, probably using the story on how he met his wife.

After a night of drinking and woo ohhs from Bonnie and Clyde, Wyatt and Lucy waited til they fell asleep to grab the necklace. Until a knock at the door came, it was Methvin coming to stale them til the rangers and Flynn get there. Soon Rufus comes and inform Lucy that Flynn is coming but too late as Clyde brings them in and thinks they are working with the cops. Trying to get them to believe them, Rufus plays a recording of Methvin telling Harmer where they would be at. Of course, Methvin gets shot, but then Wyatt takes his gun and demands the necklace nicely, but the two wouldn't go without a fight.

The rangers start shooting and Bonnie and Clyde leave and shooting everyone, going out gun a blazing. Clyde gets shot first and as Bonnie stays with him, Flynn picks her up and takes her necklace away and soon she holds a gun and dies right there gunshot from one of the rangers.

The three come back empty handed, Agent Christopher, who's been investigating Mason and his company talks to Rufus about it. Rufus tries to tell her that she needs to back off or someone she loves (like her daughter) will get hurt. But she won't take no for an answer so he tells her all about Rittenhouse.

Meanwhile, Flynn sneaks into a museum, where the key opens a box, with a couple of timey whimy stuff opening it til a folded paper with a red stamp on it. He opens it and the scene goes back. I think it has to do with the fall finale episode. That has to be a message from the queen or king.  The question is what does the letter say?

Oh man this episode was good. It felt like one of those old films where you revisit the 1930's gangster era, which I love. I thought Matt Lanter was rally good in a couple of scenes, including the one where he was talking how he met his wife Lucy to Bonnie and Clyde. I feel like something big is going to come in the next episode, something between Lucy and Flynn.

Overall, I give this episode 8/10.

Wild Adventure Through the Woods: Timeless "Stranded"

Image result for timeless nbc

Stranded in the year before the United States was even born, how will they get back?

This episode's title probably gives it away better but the adventure of this story was thrilling, character growth and some movie references. Lucy and the team are in 1754 during the French-Indian War, they've been there for three days looking for Flynn. But they get chased by the French and captured.

The team isn't together in a way since last week's bombshell of who's working or who's doing this kind of thing.  Wyatt distracts one of the french solider by insulting about his mother. He takes down him and another one and soon the two get back to their machine when they spot two of Flynn's men at their ship placing explosives around it.

Just before they set it off, Wyatt shoots the one with the switch but the other shoots out one part of the ship and races towards his own. Wyatt, Rufus and Lucy chase until Flynn's ship disappeared. Rufus tries to fix what he could but needs some things, mostly from a Radioshack. But Wyatt thought Rufus could make a flux capacitor, for which Rufus tells Wyatt that those don't exist. But it made a nice Back to the Future joke.

Just before they headed off, Rufus writes a message, places it in a bottle for Mason to find as their Plan B. Mason and team finds the location and find it but the paper turned faded with only a few words.

The three does some walking, trying to get into the French army base where there's a blacksmith shop, but they get caught from a Native tribe and gets tied up again. Lucy and Wyatt tries to tell the chieftess ,Nonhelema, about their situation but she doesn't believe them but Rufus, who she believes is being force to do a job. But he ask her to let his friends go and after a moment, she let them go.

The three gets to the French army base and gets in smoothly, Rufus gets to the blacksmith shop and make the piece that he needs to fix the ship just enough to get back. But when they head out, the army commander has return and everyone looks around. The three get out and race towards the ship, Rufus fixes what he could and just as they get in, the French are there shooting. Everything looks to be going good until a short stop, Rufus puts two wires together and soon they're off.

Now for this to work, the team back in 2016 has to capture their entry, in a way like in Star Wars, which Rufus makes a reference in his message and his friend figured out. And as they try to find it, they locked on them and got them back, a bit closer landing then previous times.

It seemed that this trip really got the team back to focus on team work. Wyatt tells Lucy as the three have drinks and talks about when she took a drink if that was what she wanted to or was it in a book. Only she has the control to change her future. Also not to mention that Rufus and his crush finally kisses.

I enjoyed this episode even though there wasn't an answer on why Flynn came but I believe it was just to throw them off and get stranded. This seemed to be a standalone episode, which I like and a perfect one at that. I thought that the cast was each amazing. I loved the references made during the episode from Star Wars to Back to the Future. There were a lot of humor moments, mostly with Wyatt, Lucy and Rufus during their wild adventures from the berries to being caught by the French.

Overall, I give this episoe a 8.5/10

Hope and Feeling: Timeless "The Alamo"

Image result for timeless nbc

When Flynn travels back to The Alamo, Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus travels there learning only feeling and hope when things change once again.

This might be one of the fun and most interesting episodes so far. The series does amaze me week after week of the story and the well known historian characters.

After a freaky night that Rufus had with Rittenhouse, he confronts Conner about it only to tell him that he needs to do his job. Meanwhile, Wyatt was about to be transferred because he has not done his job taking out Flynn, but before that could happen the staff spotted Flynn heading back to 1836, The Alamo.

Of course, Flynn tried to make a deal with Mexican President General Antonio Lopez da Santa Anna to help to take Texas, only three days before the actually end date.  But as Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus gets to the Alamo, Flynn gets in there and kills William B. Travis just before he was writing his :Victory or Death letter."

The Mexican army was speeding up the process, something that Flynn didn't want to happen and asked Santa Anna to let the women and children go, but he wasn't gonna take any order or advise from Flynn.

With Travis dead, Wyatt tells Lucy to write it, even if she couldn't remember a lot of what was said. While that was going on, Wyatt was advising James Bowie about how to handle the Mexican army and told Bowie about his sacrificing for the good and how he lost his friend in the war.

As the war starts, Rufus tries to breaks a stone floor where there's a underground passageway so that the women and children could run safe. And soon Lucy figures out what to say after listening to Wyatt speak about how it can't come from the mind set but how it feels from the heart and boy did that get the ball rolling.

As they were about to leave, Wyatt saves a young John William Smith and gave him a letter and ordered him to deliver it. By the way that Smith kid will soon became the first Mayor of San Antonio.

Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus made it back with Lucy and Rufus telling Agent Christopher that they won't go on any more missions without Wyatt. Wyatt gets to stay and inform his old army buddy about the bad news but they rekindled and hope to see one another.

Lucy gets back home and tries to reconcile with her mother, who they had an argument about her job, wedding and her father. Well, she tells Lucy about her father, that he's a professor and is outspoken person. But she handled her a folded note, but we don't get to see or know who it is. My guess would have to be Flynn.

This episode had a lot of really good things, one being that we get to learn more about Wyatt, him recalling his last duty in the army. Another was just watching and listening to Davy Crockett. Yeah I might be a fan, watching old series with my grandfather. Each of the characters dealing with finding hope and feeling, which I would think is a moral to the episode. With what Lucy had to do with writing the letter, Wyatt's speech not just to Lucy but to Bowie too.

Overall, I give this episode 8.5/10.
