Ghostbusters Official Trailer #2 (2016) - Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy...

Will I answer the call to see it? HELL YEAH!!!!

The latest trailer for the Ghostbusters film is out and it looks better than the first one. We see a lot more from #1 fan Al Roker to even people asking if these ladies are for real. From all the ghost we see there's one at the end of the trailer that looks very familiar.

I'm so excited to see this film. I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan. With all the haters hating on it, they're gonna eat their words come July 15th. This isn't a reboot, the original cast is in the damn film so why would this be some reboot if they're in it?

Here's the trailer:

Ghostbusters opens in theaters July 15h.

CBS Fall 2016-2017 Schedule

On Wednesday, CBS presented it Upfront for the 2016-2017 season with the advertisers.

The big news out of this would be that there will be eight comedies on the network as they are restrting their signature Monday comedy block, with the return of Kevin James' new series "Kevin Can Wait." This will be James' return to the network on Mondays at 8 pm slot where King of Queens spent most of it's 9 year run. James will be joining with Matt LeBlanc and his new sitcom "Man with a Plan."

After CBS scaled back on their Monday comedy block to one hour two years ago and getting way with it all of last season, the network is re-expanding it in a major way with the return of the two-hour block.

Like this isn't new, CBS is using it's strongest shows to launch new shows. The network's #1 drama, NCIS, will be used as the launching pad for Bull, who's stars by the departed NCIS co-star Michael Weatherly. So I guess he's departure didn't really need to be that big since he's coming right back. TO make room for Bull (no pun intended) NCIS: New Orleans will be moving to 10 pm.

With CBS top comedy The Big Bang Theory will help launch fellow ensemble multi-camera comedy The Great Indoors, starring Joel McHale.

House of Lies Cancelled by Showtime

The writing was on the wall and the truth finally came down today.

Showtime has announced that House of Lies will come to an end after the show's current fifth season. The Cuba-set series finale will air Sunday, June 12th at 9/8c.

Showtime President David Nevins said in a statement, "House of Lies is a comedy that has frequently been ahead of the curve. Over the course of its five seasons, it has tackled such hot-button topics as gender identity, wealth inequality, white privilege, police brutality, interracial relationships, and code-switching with honesty and a biting sense of humor. (Series creator Matthew Carnahan and Don Cheadle have been dream partners and impeccable leaders. The core cast of Don, Kristen, Ben and Josh are one of the best comedy teams on television. They have brought the series to an incredibly satisfying conclusion with this historic final episode shot in Cuba."

Carnahan added, "Creating and running House of Lies has been a true dream gig, a creative apotheosis. Working with the remarkable team that Jessika Borsiczcky, David Walpert and I were allowed to put together, along with the incredible cast and crew, coming to work every day was a joy. Getting to work with heroes like Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell and Glynn Turman, breaking out amazing performers like Dawn Olivieri and the shockingly funny Josh Lawson; seeing Ben Schwartz, already so well-known as a comedic actor doing a deep-dive into really complex work; watching great actors like Matt Damon be willing to skewer versions of themselves; and then going out on the high note that is shooting in Cuba - these are all the kinds of reasons I got into this business in the first place."

I mention that the writing was one the wall. I was wondering after news was out that Kristen Bell was starring in a new series with Ted Danson "The Good Place." That just got picked up and is schedule for Thursday nights this fall on NBC right after Superstore.

Twist, Turns & Death: Blindspot "If Love A Rebel, Death Will Render"

This is the episode before the season finale and boy did this leave us wanting so badly to see the finale.

We jump into the moment with Jane telling Oscar how they had her betraying Mayfair and getting her arrested. With in that moment, Sophia pops up and both her and Oscar repeat what Jane had to them before losing her memory. And from that moment we jump two weeks ahead.

A mysterious man runs to a government building and drops off a bag, which inside was a baby. But this baby isn't just a regular baby, this kid has a tattoo on it's wrist that Jane has. Kurt and team pick up the case but they go under the temporary director (Dylan Baker) til he finds a replacement. The reason why is because he's told Kurt that the Jane Doe project is done.

So Kurt and team look into the baby and see that it's DNA is connected to someone, who happens to be the son of the former Presidential candidate, where him and his wife have a sick son. After getting in trouble, Kurt and team jump back on the case but Jane is out of the FBI.

Jane goes to the child protection services where she knows two people standing near the door and a woman goes through security. Jane follows the two guys to the elevators and soon kicks their butts. But she's too late as the baby was taken from that woman.

Kurt than has the wife of the suspect to come in and tell them anything that could help them. She tells Kurt that there's this company that's experimenting by using genetics and babies. They were going to use a baby to help their son with his illness.

Jane gets to the company before Kurt and soon all hell breaks loose when Kurt and team get there. Jane fights off that woman and shocks the hell out of her with a defibrillator and shocks herself too.

Later the director wasn't to happy but was accepts that they solved the case. Jane had to turn in her badge and as she goes to her locker her and Kurt have a nice talk and they kiss (YES!!). As soon as they were going to walk down to the victory celebration, Kurt gets a call from his father's nurse as he was yelling out his name.

Kurt get there and his father apologies and tells him about a shed. That there's a body under there and he gives the name Taylor. And Kurt is shocked as probably so are we. So Jane might not be Taylor Shaw at all.

Throughout the episode Mayfair has done her own investigation. She figures out that set up with Alexandra from Sophia. She gets Sophia's number and has Reade and Zapata look into it. As we get to the end of the episode, Jane is alone in the building and hears the door open, think that it was Oscar. Nope, it was Mayfair and soon she starts asking questions and points a gun at Jane. But Oscar shoots Mayfair and tries to get Jane out of there but wouldn't. She tries to help Mayfair but she tries to take her out but fails. Mayfair told Jane that Kurt is going to be so surprised while Jane is crying and shocked.

This was so good of an episode. So many shocks and turns that opens up to probably one hell of a season finale. I didn't think that the case wasn't gonna be a big one even thought there were babies involved. But it made a very entertaining for an hour. The writing was sweet and give performances from Alexander and Sanders and Jean-Baptiste.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch the season finale of Blindspot this Monday at 10/9c on NBC.

Note: Blindspot will be back in the fall on a new night and time, Wednesdays at 8/7c.

CBS Renews Code Black, Beyond Borders and Odd Couple.

As the Upfronts are underway, CBS has winnow i's bubble show list for those that get renewal and cancelled.

CBS has announced that Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders are renewed for a second season and also renewed The Odd Couple for a third season.

Code Black and Beyond Borders have performed not just in the ratings but creatively and performance as well.

Expect to see some changes come season two for Code Black with new characters and such.

The Odd Couple have performed both Thursday and Monday nights  well and found it's stride.

I'm guessing CBS will be milking the Friends mini-reunion when Matt LeBlanc's new series premieres.

As for popping the bubble, CBS announced that Rush Hour will not get a second season. Rebooting a film to television isn't going well but that won't stop networks trying from FOX's Lethal Weapon.
