Unleash Crazy Amy!!!

In this Christmas episode of Superstore, the staff doesn't think that Amy could do anything dangerous after she thinks of the things that she would want to do in the new year. Meanwhile, Glenn tries to show Mateo the true meaning of Christmas in the store.

With Christmas nearing, Amy thinks of the things that she would want to do in the new year to improve her life from getting a tattoo or maybe another haircut. But when the staff doesn't think she will, she tells a story about how she once stole her teacher's car to go to Burger King and left it there. With still no one believing her, Amy calls Adam, her ex husband, to back her up but when she calls she calls him from her daughter's friend's mother place.

Later on Amy begins her Crazy Amy or Cramy and starts the holiday party with booze and hot chocolate. Amy, Cheyenne and Dina look up the lady that Adam is staying thinks that they should go over there, but being under the influence instead of taking a car they take the next best thing....motorized carts!!!  They reach the house and Amy realized what a bad mistake this is but they go in anyway and soon after Adam clarified about the teacher's car, they left after an awkward moment about him dating their daughter's friend's mother. And after both Amy, Cheyenne and Dina left but not without taking some decorations and riding on their carts.

Meanwhile, the Christmas spirit isn't in with Mateo, so Glenna tries to show him the meaning throughout the store. One moment comes when Glenn sees an solider and his wife that he thought he's back to be with his family but in turns out that he is back home after getting high and accidental shot someone but also that his wife's baby might not be his.

After so not so merry moments for Glenn to show, he comes up one last thing that he's been trying to do through this episode, he turns on the Christmas lights there were displayed all over the store with such a warm and tender moment. Mateo thought it was till stupid but Glenn knew he likes it.

Not to mention Jonah and Garrett get into it with gifts to show how annoying they are living together. They take this argument all they way to when they had to dress up as Santa and his elf for a kid to get his photo taken with Santa. Jonah hides out and talks with Kelly about it and soon they go out and gives Garrett some time to be alone as a gift. But also he missed the Christmas lights that Amy thought he would loved.

"Christmas Eve" was hilarious and one to remember for a while. The unleash of Crazy Amy was really good and American Ferrera along with Lauren Ash and Nicole Bloom were amazing and hilarious. Those three have really strong chemistry onscreen. Not to mention watching them riding on motorized cart drunk was funny. The Glenn and Mateo was really good at times and stood out the best when Glenn turned on the Christmas lights. The writing of this episode was very good. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch Superstore when they return in January on NBC.

The Devil is Coming: Supergirl Regin" Fall Finale

Image result for supergirl reign season 3

I know, Alex, that thing scares the hell out of me, too.

The first episode that I've been building up for, and by all means, this was an excellent one.

After the previous episode's events (two weeks ago), Kara is still dealing with Mon-El and his wife. Samantha is falling behind on her duties at work and with her daughter, and joining Kara's Christmas party with family and friends seems to calm her down.

As the Christmas party was underway, Kara and J'onn got a call of a message at an area site that had a statement that she knows as a Krypton language. Later, they see more and more of these along with people, one example being a street gang getting killed and even trying to attack Edge.

Kara gets help from Thomas Coville about the messages left there, and he tells her that the world killer is coming and will reign upon them. After seeing the signs from Reign, Kara makes her character, and soon, the call is answered.

Kara and Reign meet for the first time, and after a couple of chats, the two battle it out. From the air to the cargo ship, they fight to the streets, where it becomes a public viewing. Reign gives Kara a run for her money as she gets knocked out pretty well, with blood coming from her head, which surprises her. Kara comes back swinging and gives more, but Reigns comes back with more and takes Kara up to the roof of the building. Kara, defenseless, tells Reign that she's not afraid of her, and soon, Reign gives Kara one final punch and lets her fall to the ground, where she is lifeless.

Alex rushes and gets her back to the DEO in the emergency room, where they had to tube her to help her breathe. There, everyone from Winn, J'onn, Mon-E,l, and all watch as they see the Girl of Steel in serious condition.

Meanwhile, on Christmas Day, Sam's daughter comes down the stairs to see her mom, but her mother is gone and leaves with a frightening ending.

"Reign" was the darkest, most intense episode of the season, let alone the series so far. After this season of the character Reigns, the episode builds up more and more even as Kara learns and finally meets with Reign. Reign is probably one of the darkest villain characters in the series. The performance from Odette Annable was terrific, and her scenes with Melissa Benoist were such a thrill of intensity. The writing of this episode was so good. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Supergirl returns with a new episode on January 15th at 8/7c on The CW.

Complicated Plan: Superstore "Health Fund" Fall Finale

Image result for superstore health fund

In the fall finale of Superstore, Cloud 9 takes on health care in a way that shows how difficult it is to make.

When the employees of Cloud 9 discuss methods on clearing an infected ear of Mateo's, everyone strts given their own remedies. Jonah believes that he can make a better health care policy than the one that the company can give, but it soon backfires and Amy and Jonah become the faces of the store's health care policy.

When Amy and Jonah come up with a plan of having two groups (Group A will pay $20 and Group B pay $200), it backfires again and the staff come up with another way with many upon many groups that at one point had one group called World of Fire. But after all of that, Amy and Jonah decides that health care is too complicated and hided in the storm shelter along with Kelly.

Meanwhile, after making fun of Dina getting worked done because she had a mole removed that happened be close to cancer. Glenn thinks that he might have a cancer mole near his penis and tries to get a second opinion. He ask Dina to look at it but couldn't tell and takes a photo of it and send it to her doctor which came back not cancer.

"Health Fund" was a very good and hilarious episode. Between Glenn and his mole and Amy and Jonah's health care policy both stories were quick entertaining and memorable. Even we got to see Sandra really give it to Jonah and Amy like we never seen before. The writing for this episode was very good and strong. I enjoyed every minute of this episode. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Superstore Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC also catch out past episode on the NBC app.
You can catch a special Christmas episode of Superstore Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.

Mean and Creepy: Superstore "Workplace Bullying"/"Sal is Dead"

"Workplace Bullying"

The Superstore tackles work bullying for all the right reasons.

After trying to stop a robber, Jonah gets bullied by Dina about how he handled the robbery situation by just letting him go by when the robber was polite. After a staff meeting about how to handle the situation and for what ever is worth, Jonah did the right thing by letting the robber go.

But when Jonah talks to Jeff the meeting and then tells him about how Dina was bullying her than things got fro bad to worst. Dina comes at Jonah after she gets her first warning. Soon the two face off in a fight where Jonah had an "accident" when she was on him. The two go come to common ground and Dina still finds him attractive.

Meanwhile, Amy knows that there has been a trivia night with the co workers for a long time and hasn't been a part of it. She tries her best to get in the group and after getting into the "best friends group" for which she didn't want, she finally gets accepted to the trivia game night but comes to realizes that it starts at 10 pm.

"Workplace Bullying" was pretty funny, mostly comes from Dina and Jonah story over Amy and her trying to get into the Trivia Game Night. From the scene of Dina telling the cop about the robber and found out that Jonah didn't do anything as he let him go to the awkward fight scene outside Cloud 9. Even the ending with Sandra having no walk buddy to walk her to her car and carrying a kazoo was too much. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

"Sal is Dead"

In this Halloween episode, a dead body has appeared from inside the walls of Cloud 9, plus Amy tries helps Jonah on his dating app.

When the dead body of Sal has appeared through the wall of Could 9, Glenn tries to cover the body but with no luck and gets a huge crowd looking at it. Having to wait for the Corner to come, Dina picks a guy, who's dressed up as a corner, and takes him to the dead thinking that he really is one.

Mateo is sad that he can't make it to his cousin's wedding int he Philippines and due to his undocumented status Cheyenne find a way to help. Cheyenne gets Sal's passport and fixes Mateo's face to look like Sal. Looking like Sal, Mateo walks around and soon changes into a Sal like character all creepy and such. Mateo soon decides to not go to the wedding and finally taken off the make up as it was really creepy.

Meanwhile, Jonah is checking out the women on the dating app and when Amy takes his phone to give her two cents, she accidentally swipe right to Kelly. Trying to fix it, Amy just makes it worst. Kelly goes after Jonah for what she assumes he texted her but later she and Jonah fool Amy of what she had done.

"Sal is Dead" was a memorable Halloween episode. Not big event episode but still funny with scenes from Mateo becoming Sal to Glenn trying to not get any of the costumers to see the dead body of Sal. Not to mention seeing Amy taking over Jonah's phone and checking women for him, which was probably the one thing I'll remember from this episode. Overall, I give this episode a 7.5/10.

You can catch Superstore Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC or catch past episodes on the NBC app.

Worried and Being Tough: Superstore "Brett Is Dead"/"Part-Time Hires"

Image result for superstore brett's dead

"Brett Is Dead"

When learning that one of their co workers had died from the tornado, the Cloud 9 employees morn the lost but another co worker might be dealing with some issues.

When learning that Brett has died, the employees of Cloud 9 put on a memorial for him, dedicated a benched under his name while Sandra sings "Creep" from Radiohead during a rainstorm. Later on Glenn sees that Mateo and Cheyenne are at a lost from losing Brett, but really they just wanted to get out of putting a combo pack together of the Matrix II and III DVDs together.

But a shocking moment comes when Brett is actually alive and they learned that when the tornado was coming that he just ran to his car and drove home. Talk about a tight closure to that story.

Meanwhile, with the rainstorm pouring through, Dina acts pretty unusually and when thunder and lighting comes, she announced everyone in the store to head to the new storm shelter, even grabbing a old lady and carrying her. Amy figures out why and when asked Glenn about it, he gets the staff together for a meeting about trauma events.

But Amy tries talking to Dina about the trauma and instead of just learning about the tornado event, she gets a whole floods worth of stories that has really trauma her long ago from the 1994 Olympics to even not learning to not give chocolate to a dog at six years old.

"Brett Is Dead" was another hilarious episode that had so many good and memorable moments from the Brett's memorial to even Jonah trying to figure out how Garrett got to be in a wheelchair, not to mention talking with Myrtle about her time she had an affair with Ozzie Smith that really wasn't the St. Louis Cardinals player that she thought it was.  America Ferrera and Lauren Ash were amazing in this episode. Not to mention Nicole Bloom and Nico Santos' characters (Cheyenne and Mateo) shined in this episode as well and showed a lot of dun chemistry. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10,

"Part-Time Hires"

When Amy's daughter is working at Cloud 9, she wonders if she should try to be the tough parent of the favorite parent.

When Amy's daughter, Emma, has come to work at Cloud 9 for part time. As Amy tries to give some tough love with her but when she sees that she's texting her dad and having fun plans, she tries to change her plans. From letting the floor very wet (getting a co-work to slip and fell) to yelling and protecting her from a customer who wanted floor cleaner, Amy tries her best to do what it takes to be her daughter's best friend, but comes to realizes that it's probably not the best. Jonah tries to be tough on Emma and got Glenn going off on him, which was hilarious.

Meanwhile, Mateo flirts with one of the construction workers. Just when he thinks that he's got him, Cheyenne thinks that the guy is playing Mateo just to get stuff, like for one to use their employee bathroom. Turns out to be true when the guy comes to Cheyenne's rescue for putting large bags of ice in the freezer.

And not to mention, Dina comes clean to Garrett about she's seeing a therapist and thinks that their relationship should come to an end. When Garrett agrees, he didn't suspect that it would become a huge break up and having everyone feel sorry for him. Garrett freaks out and tries to get Dina to agree that she didn't break up with him that they broke it up in an agreeable terms. But Dina got him back later.

"Part-Time Hires" was another good episode that just had many good moments of hilariousness. One being of course, Glenn yelling at Jonah after he gets on Emma's butt about stocking tuna in the wrong aisle. Another was really the performer Kelly Stables, who happens to be another new employee, Kelly, but no one once to acknowledge her and she tries her best to due her best. The writing was very good for this episode. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Superstore Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC or catch episodes streaming now on the NBC App.

Fast and Caution: Superstore "Grand-Re-Opening" Season Premiere

In the season premiere of Superstore, it's the grand reopening and the staff and the store is not quite ready to open yet.

After the events in the season finale, Amy tries to avoid Jonah when they get back to work. Jonah tries to confront Amy about the kiss but she doesn't. It takes until they are assigned to be the Minions for the opening that they finally talked that it was at a moment in time when things were not looking go (because hell there was a tornado hitting the store). Amy tells Jonah that she's getting a divorce from Adam and that it happened the day after the tornado. The two seems to be back in that friend zone again.

While the store is about ready, Glenn gets word that the opening is actually today and gets everyone to work as quick as they can. As everyone works as fast as they can, Glenn didn't realize that his voice is pretty high when he speaks and tries to figure out how to change his voice before he has to speak during the opening, for which didn't work and just kept his voice at a low pitch when the ceremony was going on.

One of the highlights of the episode comes when Dina meets Howie Mandel for the first time and thinks that he is a new employee but he's there to make a celebrating guest appearance. And just as she know who Mandel was, she still treated him like an employee and still made him work.

"Grand Re-Opening" was fun, hilarious and memorable episode. Loved the performance between America Ferrera and Ben Feldman and even the scenes of Laura Ash with Mandel were just memorable. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch Superstore Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC or streaming now on the NBC App.
