Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt "Kimmy Steps on a Crack"/"Kimmy is a Feminist"

"Kimmy Steps on a Crack"

When Kimmy goes out to get Titus some medicine, she gets taken by the FBI as they need her help with a friend of hers.

In Episode 5, "Kimmy Steps on a Crack," Kimmy is takes by the FBI to help stop Gretchen as she has developed her own cult full of young boys. Kimmy tires to talk to her and at times gets interrupted by the boys are so at time doing stupid boy things. Three of them glue their junk together. Let's just say that Gretchen got so crazy that it was close to being Waco.

Meanwhile, As Titus is sick with apparently scurvy, he's waiting for Kimmy to get back but ask Lillian to take care of him. She takes him to a near by store where they don't sell any kind of food to rebuild their health, unless you want a frozen box of salad that's filled with chunks. As Titus gets worst, he slips up by saying that he had to eat someone on the cruise and stops there. It seems that we might be getting close to why he was washed ashore in the beginning of the season.

There were many hilarious scenes in this episode from watching Kimmy take down the FBI to when her and Gretchen reaction to the boys coming in and out of their room. I did love watching Titus and Lillian in this episode. They had some hilarious moments in this episode. The Jacqueline and Duke storyline was okay. I did find it hilarious watching Jacqueline and Russ' grandmother make her famous corn casserole. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

"Kimmy is a Feminist"

As Kimmy runs and parties with college girls, Jacqueline deals with Duke again.

As Kimmy explores Columbia University after getting a free scholarship, she bumps into Perry, who i shocked that she's going to Columbia. After the two talked, the girls think that he was ghosting Kimmy and try to show her what being a feminist is about, for that propose it didn't end well. Kimmy realizes that the boy that wanted to kiss her was only 17 years old and not only a baby but everyone at the party that she was were babies too.

She bumps into Perry again and the two kind a hit it off as friend, but when he tells her what he wanted to do for a living that he was going to be a Reverend, Kimmy freaks out and pushes him away.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline is dealing with Duke after he kissed her. He comes over and tries to get the fire going, but she calls for reinforcement aka Titus for help, which turned okay til Duke thinks that Titus is really after Jacqueline.

Not only was this hilarious but it was literally the funniest storyline in the episode, as both Titus and Duke battle it for Jacqueline's love. And not to mention Lillian comes in as well. Probably doesn't do a lot in the episode but hey she still makes me laugh.

Josh Charles and Titus Burgess are hilarious in this episode. I laughed so hard when Titus called Duke a "Patrick Wilson look-alike" and falls down after drinking a couple of shots. And even the two tackling each other was another.

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

The News Moment: Great News "Carol Has a Bully"/"Carol's Eleven" Season Finale

In the hour-long season finale of Great News, Greg's grandmother makes her fierce appearance to The Breakdown, and Katie breaks the biggest story of the year.

"Carol Has a Bully"

When Greg announces that his grandmother is coming, he not only fears her but warns everyone of her as she is the boss of the MMN. While there, she looks around and observes Greg on how he does being the boss of The Breakdown. She sees Katie talking back to Greg in front of her.

Meanwhile, after Katie learns that Carol has been skipping school, she tries to get her to study for her test and puts off investigating papers from Biscuit Blitz accounts. But when another network got the scoop, Gregwass was upset for her beefing it up.

After talking with Chuck about his grandmother at dinner, Greg shows his tough side to her and storms out of their dinner. The next day, his grandmother was so proud that she offered him the news division when Carol asked Greg if she could stay working at the station even though she failed her final exam.

But Greg tells Carol that she was fired. Katie shows up and tells Greg that her mother has been a big part of this staff as their best friend and supporter. Greg decides not to fire Carol but to fire Katie instead.

"Carol Has a Bully" was a good episode that showed a lot of humorous moments, from Carol and Katie rapping to study for Carol's exam or when Carol was rapping to Katie about how she won't help her mother. There were a lot of "beep you" after that one. Saying "beep." I loved the parody British version of Shark Tank, Pond Scum. I'd watch that show over Shark Tank any day. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

"Carol's Eleven"

With Katie being fired, she's now staying with Carol. Carol tries to be tough, but when she tries, she sees young Katie talking in a grown-up Katie way.

Meanwhile, things aren't going so well with the staff of The Breakdown as Greg's grandmother's changes aren't going so well. Chuck reads off The Breakdown social media room ( I'll call it the Yellow Room, like The Today Show's orange room), where he reads an insulting tweet. Plus, Portia now has to do product placements for all of Grandma's stuff on the network, one that's a hat with a birdcage hanging, which will make a nice Kentucky Derby hat next year.

But when Katie watches Pond Scum on television, she hears what Greg's grandmother says about a company one day will hack into their competition, which puts a light bulb on and runs to Greg, who's in the hospital about it.

The two devise a plan to make Greg's grandmother spill the beans about her hacking project on television without her knowing. The device of a real Journalist, Impossible, meets Ocean's 11 by using the max figure of Chuck while the honest Chuck is up on the roof telling the real viewers about what's going on. Greg's grandmother will be watching the fake news in real time, but soon, she'll figure it out and stop it. But she was the one that got fooled as her phone was hacked, thanks to Portia and Beth setting her up, and Katie and crew got her confession. ,

In the end, Katie and Greg make up by hugging and almost kissing each other until the crew comes in and also wants to kiss since it's a transitional British thing. One by one, everyone got to hug and kiss Greg. Carol was proud of Katie, and two walked out as Carol still saw Katie as a child and the other staff.

"Carol's 11" was an excellent episode that wrapped up a lovely story arc of the hacking scandal. Everyone in the cast was so good that this was an outstanding ensemble cast performance. I think that Katie and Greg's moment will carry on with that one moment. The writing was excellent in this episode. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10. Overall, this season, I offer a 9/10. It was one of the best new comedies on television. I can't wait to see where this show will go in the fall.

You can catch Great News in the fall on Thursday nights at 8:30/7:30c after Will & Grace on NBC.

Great News "The Red Door"/"Celebrity Hacking Scandal"

"The Red Door"

When it comes to Carol and telling them not to do something, she does it anyway.

In this episode, Chuck asks Carol to go to his home and let the cable guy in to do some work and instructs her not to open the red door. Of course, we are all just wondering what is inside that door. Carol tries to do her best; even looking at Portia's hacked emails helped a little until when the cable guy left and shut the door, all of a sudden, the red door opened.

Carol looks in and sees Chuck, but as she talks to him, apparently Chuck loses his head, literally, and she runs screaming. She tells Chuck what didn't happen, but he realizes she opened it and looks. Chuck tells a story about how he was once going to be lead anchor at Nightly News and was such a big shot that he had a wax figure of himself put up (which is what Carol saw), but all things come to an end when he gets a call that he was passed over and they took his wax figure. The only two people who care about their wax figure are Chuck and Scott Baio. Chuck asked Carol to take the wax figure and dump it in the garbage.

In the meantime, Portia informs the staff that her computer was hacked, and everything from photos to emails is shared on the internet. Katie and Greg do their best not to look into it, but they do and read Portia's email saying that Katie and Greg were boning each other. It got into their heads that everyone must think they're a couple, but no one believes it.

One of the funniest scenes came when they try to explain that they're not a couple, but they could be, and Beth tells Greg that she thought he said to her that he had no gentles, for which he defines that he had and still kept saying he has gentles to Katie and she tells him that it's creepy to keep repeating it.

The two show the staff the email, and soon, Portia comes in pretty mad about it.  But she clears that email up, telling everyone that she thinks that Katie and Greg are dull and blames auto-correct for it. Soon, the camera guy runs in, saying that Chuck is on the roof and thinks he might jump. Everyone rushes outside, and Carol wonders and soon discovers the wax figure of Chuck that she placed on the roof. She runs to Chuck and tells him, and they rush up. Soon, Katie., goes up there, and as they talk it out, she tries to move the figure away from the edge, but it falls over and lands in the parking lot. Everyone was relieved and upset.

"The Red Door" was not its best episode, but had some hilarious moments. Watching Katie and Greg try to make a point that even though they are not together, they could be. Also, that scene with Beth telling Greg that he told her he had no gentles was hilarious. Also, just watching Andrea Martin and John Michael Higgins in this episode was funny, too, and draws some excellent chemistry. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

"Celebrity Hacking Scandal"

Who can deliver, and who can not? Carol wants to move up in the news business, while Katie thinks she has the story of the century.

"Celebrity Hacking Scandal" stood out pretty well, with Carol trying to help produce a story for Portia. At the same time, Katie thinks she has the story of the century about the hacking of celebrity photos and other stuff.

When Katie tells Greg about it, he doesn't think she has something, and when Katie investigates why he gives her a hard time on this, she finds out that Greg once had a big scoop on the Loch Ness Monster, but it turns out nothing. But Katie has the source, who turns out to be an 11-year-old who did it, but it all led up to the online game Biscuits Blitz that's very popular.

Speaking of famous, Chuck and Portia fight over each other roles and spaces. Portia gets Chuck to play Biscuits Blitz, who gets addicted because he wants to get in touch with the younger people. But the scene with Chuck and Portia arguing was a hilarious part of the episode.

I enjoyed this episode, mostly watching Higgins and Richie go at it at times, as the two are hilarious. I was watching Greg and Katie go at it again. It is pretty good. I thought the writing was pretty good. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch the season finale of Great News on Tuesday, May 23, at an earlier time, 8/7c before The Voice Finale on NBC.

Wings: 20 Years Later After Final Flight

Image result for Wings nbc

It was on this date back in 1997 that the television series Wings took its last flight. Wings ran for eight seasons on NBC, part of that Must See TV era with Cheers, Seinfeld, and Fraiser.

The series was set in a fictional airport in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where brothers Joe and Brian Hackett (starring Tim Daly and Steven Webber) operate Sandpiper Air. There's Crystal Bernard as Helen Chappel-Hackett, Thomas Haden Church as Lowell Mather, David Schramm as Roy Biggins, Rebecca Schull as Fay Cochran, Tony Shalhoub as Antonio Scarpacci along with Farrah Forke as Alex Lambert, and Amy Yasbeck as Casey Chappel.

It was such an excellent, friendly family comedy that was so clever and hilarious. There were some perfect moments. I've always enjoyed the Joe and Helen moments. I loved the end of season three when the gang was heading toward Helen's debut of playing for the Boston Symphony, and they came with issues with the plane and had to make an emergency landing. And come season four, Joe loses his plane and has to close his business for a while. Also, Helen and Joe's wedding was excellent. And I couldn't forget about Tony Shalhoub's character, Antonio, who does steal some of the best moments on the show.

I do recommend you watch this series. The series finale, which aired on this date, ended nicely and full circle, in my opinion. I could see now that 20 years later, the Hackett boys were still together with two and five planes. Joe and Helen have two children, and everyone else is happy to be around one another.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt "Kimmy Can't Help You"/"Kimmy Goes to College"

"Kimmy Can't Help You"

Just as Kimmy fills out her application for college, she gets an unexpected visitor.

If there was one thing about this episode that I enjoyed it was watching Kimmy and Titus deal with this kind of situation. When Kimmy is filling out her application for college, getting help from Titus on acting and made her think he was having a spell, until s knock on the door came and it was The Reverend's fiance aka the Mystery Bitch, played by Laura Dern.

Dern's character delivers the divorce papers for Kimmy to signed and she talks about how they met and how she falls in love, in a way like women are with Charlie Mason in prison. Kimmy feels bad and tries to tell her how bad the Reverend is but she doesn't listen and Titus doesn't care what she does with him as he tries to get Kimmy to signed the papers and move on.

Kimmy eats the papers and they had to wait a whole night for the papers to get printed. Titus sends Kimmy out to get away from the woman to get her application done, which she did from dance team to debate why people throw urine at Al Roker. As the next day comes, the tables have turned Titus cares for the woman and Kimmy doesn't but with Titus having a way to change her mind she doesn't sign the papers. Oh yeah the fiance is upset about it but Kimmy knows it's for the best and now will have to try to find a way to make money.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline and Russ tries to convince Russ' father about renaming the Washington Redskins as they plan to do it at the old man's birthday party. The tables turned when Russ' father announced that his better son, Duke, will take over ownership. The plan backfires and Russ asked Jacqueline to marry him but that didn't work out. What also didn't work out is that no one stop backing into Russ and landed him in the hospital with a full body cast. The good news he's does marry Jacqueline with Duke and their father's blessing so they can have Jacqueline part of the family business. The bad news is that Jacqueline's parents don't approve.

"Kimmy Can't Help You" is a fine good episode. Laura Dern was not only hilarious but amazing as the crazy fiance of The Reverend. I just love watching Kimmy and Titus hand these kind of situations. Just watching them in those scenes just puts a smile to my face even if it's bad or good. I did loved when Titus tells Kimmy to go and finish her college application and buttons her coat all the up and she didn't like it. Titus replies to Kimmy how she lost that scarf and this what happens. Jacqueline an Russ story was good. I did enjoyed that moment when Jacqueline told Russ' father how Russ can poop but wish that they knew about it before placing the body cast on him. I thought the writing was good. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

"Kimmy Goes to College"

In order to earn money for college, Kimmy signs up for the task app and bumps into an familiar friend.

"Kimmy Goes to College" was very funny and enjoyable. When Kimmy signs up not only her but Titus on the task rabbit app, they get chosen for tasks. Titus gets to sing out some background stuff for an artist that doesn't freak him out but on the last task it does and it turns into one of the most catchiest tunes so far.

Meanwhile, Kimmy does a lot of task from lifting refrigerator up the stairs to even put together that rowing exercise machine at Columbia University. But when she makes to the room of the requester, it turns out to be Jacqueline's step daughter, Xan. She wasn't the one who requested that it was her roommate.

Xan tells Kimmy that when she was in high school everyone looked up to her because she came from a rich family, but now in college no one cares and makes fun of her and her rich family. After trying to be bad ass like she thought they were, turns out they're not like that. But Xan's roommates are amazed on how Kimmy can row on that exercise machine that in fact talked to their coach and she demand the Dean that Kimmy should be granted for a scholarship, which she did.

Also in this episode, Lillian tries to filibuster an owner for planning a store in the neighborhood. Lillian tries her best to stop the owner but he ups one on her and at the end, he tells her that she has a job that nothing goes by her unless she says so The two seems to probably have a nice relationship.

Overall, I enjoyed this episode. I loved the short tunes that Titus was singing, from older people should have an expiration date like milk does. Also that California song is a hoot!! Please! Please let there be a soundtrack coming soon!! I would love to listen to this on the road! That was probably my favorite thing of the episode. The writing was good and so was the performance from Carol Kane and Burgess as well. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt "Kimmy Gets Divorced?!"/"Kimmy's Roommate Lemonades!"

"Kimmy Gets Divorced?!"

The third season of Netflix's hit comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is streaming now! And the first episode of the new season is quite hilarious.

In "Kimmy Gets Divorced?!" as Kimmy celebrates her GED graduation, she gets another phone call from the Reverend and this time it's about the divorced papers he wants sign and sent back so he can marry someone again.

Kimmy doesn't want to do anything with him anymore and goes to Jacqueline for advise. She advises Kimmy to play with the Reverend, make him suffer and have him beg to get those papers signed. While playing with the Reverend's mind, Kimmy decides that she wants to go to college. But if she's gonna need money she's gonna have to get some and what Jacqueline advises her was to tear up the papers and make a new one so she gets his stuff and sell it.

Meanwhile, Titus is back from his short cruise as he was washed on the beach. He really doesn't tell the events that happen but as soon as he gets back he fears of showing himself to his boyfriend Michael. But before showing his face he tries to find another job this time with Sesame Street but needs someone's help to talk to a producer. He goes to his nemesis, Coriolanus Bur, who's performing the musical Matilda. He gives the name of a producer and also where to meet him...at an exercise class.

Titus goes to the exercise class and sees the producer but instead of meeting with him, he takes the guy's phone and makes a call to his assistant about getting Titus for a job. Later he comes in and audition for the part by singing the ABC's, talking with children and healthy foods, but also reads well with the puppet but to get the job completely he would have to give the puppet a special moment but ends it and runs off.

Titus runs off to go see Michael and when he sees him, he sees Michael with another guy and Titus becomes heartbroken.

Talking about heartbroken, Lillian decides to end her relationship with Bobby Durst. And goes through the grieving process, but the two talk it out and seems pretty happy after, even though Bobby did pee his pants.

I thought this episode was hilarious. I didn't care too much for the Lillian's storyline in this episode it was okay, not a whole lot of laughs at times. Kimmy's and Titus were hilarious to watch. I couldn't get enough of watching Kimmy and Jacqueline duo it out with The Reverend about the divorce papers. Especially when Jacqueline answered the phone and acted like a taxi driver who gets into an accident.Titus was another and when Kimmy asked him about why he came back or mention someone's name, he become very defensive. Love the scene when he and Coriolanus meeting up again. It was just hilarious. Even the moment when the puppet and the producer tried to get have a special moment in exchange for the job. The writing was really good in this episode. Overall I give this episode a 9/10.

"Kimmy's Roommate Lemonades!"

This was by the the funniest and well written episode of the show so far!!

After Titus saw Michael with another man, he goes on a rant to Kimmy and tells her that he's going to do what everyone would do best in this situation...he's going lemonading.

In three different songs, Titus sings about his love and heartache for Michael in a Beyonce parodies. It was clever , it was hilarious and it was literally Titus Burgess best performance so far.

As soon as Titus breaks Michael's truck window, Michael runs up. The two talk and Titus ask about the man that he saw in the previous episode. Michael says he is just a friend and they were just playing video games. Michael tries to make it clear that they're not in love, but Jeff, the name he's seeing, really is.

As soon as Michael realizes that Titus was right, he runs off and apologies but Titus gets a flash from the past as he did the same thing with his first love. Titus takes Mike to the house of his first boyfriend and after meeting with them tells Mike that they should take a break and see other people.

Meanwhile, Kimmy takes a placement test of what career she should pursue and after answering questions which lead to her becoming a cross guard. As she goes on college tour she makes a new friend who goes to Robert Morris College. She decides to go to that college hoping to hang with the student but he'll transfer to another college at the end of the semester.

But Kimmy gets pulled in when Lillian and Jacqueline fight for her vote as a city council for their district as Jacqueline fights for clean water and Lillian wants to keep things the same. Kimmy picks Lillian and well let's just say that Lillian didn't expect what she was getting into that everything she was fighting for was denied with other votes of the city council.

"Kimmy's Roommate Lemonades" was one of it's best episodes. It was hilariously funny and after watching the episode I just re-watched it twice. The writing was outstandingly amazing. Titus Burgess really stands out in this episode and should be consider for Supportive Actor in a Comedy series at the Emmys and should win. Yep, I said it. I also enjoyed watching Lillian and Jacqueline battle each other for Kimmy's vote. Overall, I give this episode a 10/10.

You can catch Season 3 and the entire series of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is available on Netflix now!

Hug Time! The Blacklist "Mr. Kaplan (No. 4)"/"Mr. Kaplan: Conclusion" Season Finale

Image result for the blacklist season 4

It was season finale that we've all been waiting for: Red v. Kaplan who will come out victorious? Here's a recap!

As Red tries to make a deal by selling weapons to buyers, apparently someone else had taken them and put Red in a sticky situation. Later on, he's trying to find any ounce of money in his accounts but Kaplan apparently has sucked him dry, talk about a messy divorce.

With that going, Gale admits to Ressler that he knows he's working with Keen and the task force that's working with Reddington and will take down him and the team for working with a criminal while committing crimes. That lead to Aram getting picked up by the FBI and was subpoena to the court about the task force and Reddington. He was granted full immunity but he wouldn't take it because he doesn't want to betrayed his friends.

Kaplan tries to get into a secret government building that holds secret documents where Reddington's document of a full immunity was placed. She takes one of the officer's eyeball out and give it to a hutch man to get the document. Keen and Samar gets there and chases him for a while but is caught by the police. Keen takes him to Red for a chat and as the guy tells Red that he can kill him all he wants that he won't talk. But he also asked for something in return if he can get Kaplan to him for which Red offers him a paradise island of his own that he had kept at Don's place (Liz's grandfather place). But Red kills him after getting the information.

Red and Kaplan meet in a theater but it gets interrupted by Gale and his partner shooting at Red. Red and Dembe escape but when Gale comes back to talk to Kaplan, she offers him that she can testify against Red. She tells what she knows and asked a full immunity but also to be left alone for a while she takes care of something very personal. She heads off to a place where a tree is marked with the letter K and she talks to Katarina that she's doing this for Liz and starts digging out a suitcase and places it near a station.

With the Task Force on their knees now, Red hunts for a man who's also a cleaner and finds him after making one of his clients call him. He not only gets him but takes Ressler to his shop where he has the Reven Wright's body in a container. They find the bullet that killed her and used it against Lauren Hitchin as a chip to get the committee to stop the testifying of the Task Force and Reddington, which they did.

As soon as that happened Gale calls Kaplan and tells her about what just happen. He gets a nice visit from Red and takes his phone from him and kind of goes memory lane with him. It was one of the most funniest scenes.

As Red calls Cooper to trace the phone of Kaplan, Liz is in root to talk with Kaplan privately and as they do, Kaplan tells Liz that she'll tell her the truth and drives her until Red's team stops them. Liz gets out as she kind of figures what the secret could be. Kaplan was order to shut the car off but instead shoots and drives off. She's stop by Red on the bridge and the gang behind her. The two face off again and talk about how this is the end. Kaplan tells him when she's dead that Liz get the suitcase. Red tells her that he's not going to killer her and as soon as she tells either way Liz will learn the truth, she jumps off the bridge and dies.

Later on, Cooper gives Liz an envelope that contains test results of a DNA test that he has always wanted to do ever since day one when Red and Liz met. Liz tells Cooper about how she did the same thing but never really looked and after looking she heads off to talk to Red and shows the results and just asked why waited to tell her this long. Instead of running, she just walks up and hugs him like a daughter should hug her dad.

But this isn't over as Red and Dembe check the spot where that suitcase was buried and sees that it was dug up. Soon we see someone picking up the suitcase and guess who that person is...no other then Tom Keen (SOB!!!). Big Surprise!!!

This was one hell of a on the edge thrilling season finale that had some nice twist and turns, even at the end. I was stunned to see Tom coming back. I didn't think he would be back this season. But he's going to have a bigger role in season five. I'm so glad that Liz finds out that Red is her father. Now that that chapter is over let's begin something new and it looks like something big is coming. I was also stunned to see Ressler killed Hitchin by mistake or was it? That was a real OMG moment. It had a lot of great scenes from Ressler talking about Hitchin at the post office or when Liz and Kaplan talked near the lake or Red and Kaplan talking for one last time. The writing was very good and very much tied up the season. I can't wait for Season 5. Overall, I give this episodes 1 9/10. Overall, I give this season a 8/10.

You can catch The Blacklist when it returns this fall to it's new night and time Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season One & Two Recap/Review

Netflix hit comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be streaming tomorrow. If you haven't seen the series, you've been missing out on one of the best comedies. Here's a recap of the first two seasons of the show.

Season One:

The series started when Kimmy Schmidt and three other women were in an underground bunker for the past 15 years with Reverend Richard Gary Wayne who kidnapped them to joining his cult thinking that the world had ended and they were the last survivors. Soon Kimmy and the women were rescued  and appeared on the Today Show with Matt Lauer (even though one of them called him Bryant thinking that he was Bryant Gumbel).

When Lauer asked the question what is next, Kimmy really didn't know what to say and after thinking about it she decides to head out on her own in New York City. On her own, she tries swinging on a swing, eating shark gummy for dinner and even letting a horse free.

As she roams around in the city she spots a place that was for rent to live, she meets with the landlady Lillian Kaushtupper and offers Kimmy a chance to room with Titus Andromedon in her downstairs apartment. But with no job or any references, Kimmy went out to find a job at the candy shop until she spotted the kid that she saw earlier and takes him to his home to his mother, that's where she meets with Jacqueline Voorhees, a Manhattan trophy wife, who mistaken Kimmy for the nanny but Kimmy mistaken her for someone trapped in a cult.

Later on, Kimmy goes for her GED and meets and falls in love with a Vietnamese man named Dong. Near the end of the season, Kimmy had to face the Reverend once again on trial  and soon catches him in in own game and gets him found guilty and sent to prison. Jacqueline goes through life changes from has her marriage comes to an end and deals with her past head on. Even Titus tries to go for his dream being in a musical but meets his nemesis for the musical of Spiderman. But Titus makes a music video about "Peeno Noir" which becomes a huge hit online. And at the end with being the close friend of Kimmy's, speaking to the press for her might not be the best thing for him as it not only gave him attention (even freezing up while on live television) but also it drove out his wife to come see him who he hasn't seen in a long time.

Season one was a smashing home run in it's first season. There were some dark themes in the show but the characters were so rich and amazingly hilarious. After being on "The Office" and "Bridesmaids", Ellie Kemper shines own her own and has a bunch of helpful colorful ensemble cast. Titus Burgess makes his mark on the show as one of the best supporting actors in comedy. Carol Kane as Lillian is another as she's just amazing and lights up the scene. And Jane Krakowski playing Jacqueline at first seems to be a rich Jenna from 30 Rock but shines and really makes her mark as well with her comedy timing. The writing was outstanding and there were a lot of memorable episodes. Season One overall gets a 10/10.

Season Two

In season two, I like to call it the Blast from the 90's, there were a ton of 90's referneces in season that too many for me to remember. But if I had to choice one of them, it would have to be parody songs from the 90's like R. Kelly's I Believe I can Fly" into Art Smelly's "I'm Convinced I Can Swim" and Night Ranger's "Sister Christian" into Dusk Mountie's Brother Baptist.

But throughout the season Kimmy quits working for Jacqeline and gets a job at a year round Christmas store and later becomes an Uber driver. Carol tries to get her back out on the market but runs into Dong, who's in a green card marriage with another GED student. But they try to get back together nad tries to have sex but soon he gets deported.

Jacqueline goes back to her home town with her native american family. She tries to fit back in but she's doesn't and her parents tell her to go back to New York where she's got connections and such. Just before she leaves, she gets a vision to help her family and friends by throwing a gala party to take down the Washington Redskins logo, but her nemesis Deidre throws another party as well. But Jacqueline's friend Mini mistakenly put the date of the party the wrong way and people think it's for December instead of October. She later dates a layer that happens to be the owner of the Redskins.

Titus begins dating a construction worker, Mike. They're relationship seems to go well even meeting his family for dinner. Near the end of the season, he leaves to be a performer on a cruise and Lillian tries protesting the invasion of hipsters as they try to put a new apartments.

Throughout the season, Kimmy there's been this storyline that circles around her burping. In the middle of the season as she's working as an uber driver, she picks up a psychiatrist who's drunk and fun at night and normal and boring in the day. She talks to the psychiatrist about what she's been through at the bunker thinking that's what the burping was from until it's actually about her mother.  Kimmy makes amends with her mother but soon gets a phone from The Reverend from prison informing her that they need to get a divorce.

Season two was another home runs season with outstanding writing and performing from Kemper and Burgess and Krakowski. Great performances from guest stars like Amy Sedaris, Fred Armisen, Jeff Goldblum, Josh Charles and Lisa Kudrow. I couldn't get enough of the 90's references from tape cassettes to listening to parody songs and even watching Kimmy learning that some of the hot singers in the day are gay now. OVerall, I give this season a 10/10.

You can catch the third season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt available to stream on Netflix this Friday, May 19.

WOW! WOW! OH MY GOD!!!!! Chicago Fire "My Miracle" Season Finale

Image result for chicago fire

WOW! OH MY GOD!! WOW!! OH MY GOD!!!

Last night's season finale ended on a tear-jerker cliffhanger unlike any other. Hell, I'm still shaking up from it.

Let's get to recapping; Casey is not only dealing with his alderman problem but also Gabby's father staying with them. He thinks Dawson's father should get tough love and get him going on finding a new home and a job, but Gabby wants to take some time with him. But when Casey talks with his alderman rivals about agreeing to support each one's bill they are trying to pass, Dawson's dad comes up and makes a fool out of himself and Casey, and the deal is off. That sent Casey to spend the night at Severide's place.

Meanwhile, when there is a car accident on the bridge, Herrmann saves a boy trapped in the van. The van soon burns in flames, including the boy's Chicago Cubs baseball cards, some signed by the team, and was on their way to get Kris Bryant's autograph. Herrmann felt so bad that he was going to hand him his cards, but he forgot that he sold them years ago for cross-country skies but then sold those for something else. But that led him to go over to Wrigley Field and ask if some of the players Bryant, mostly, would sign the kid's cast. Of course, Herrmann and the team take him on a ride and introduce them to Kris and Jake. Not to mention Mike Tirco, who's fantastic too. But also Grandpa Rossy makes a special appearance as a sweeper.

Cruz is still upset with Mouch, and Mouch is trying to make things right, but Cruz isn't going to have it. Cruz keeps acting depressed about it, and who wouldn't be suspended for sixty days and can't pay for his cousin's college fund? I would also know that Mouch had tried everything he had done. But Mouch thinks that with things changing around and getting older, he believes it's time, as he told Trudy after looking back at his Fire Academy class photo. He gets a job as a salesman, selling gas detectors and other things.

Casey, in the meantime, makes an appearance at an alderman meeting and makes a case about his opponent on how his bill would make a big tax cut, but makes his case on his statement that firefighters are the heroes that put their jobs on the line every day for the city and make the case that he's family and his job as alderman have taken a toll. He announces that he will step down and nominates Tamera as his successor.

Then we come to the factory fire, calling everyone to the scene. Bowden gives his gut feeling about a four-minute window for his crew to get in and get out, but time wasn't on their side at all. Before going in, Mouch tells Herrmann that this will be his last shift and that he will retire.

As Squad takes the north, Truck takes the front, and soon, the fire takes a thing of its own with the roof coming down. Casey spots someone and tries to take her out, but Bowden calls everyone out as the fire grows. Mouch stops, and Herrmann tells him they must go but soon collapses and suffers a heart attack. Cruz, who finally comes to his senses, tries to get Mouch to get up and get out of the building. Soon, the ceilings start to collapse around them. Not only Casey, Herrmann, and Mouch are stuck, but Severide and a few of his men are trapped. They could do nothing; Casey called Gabby on the walkies and told her she meant a lot to him and that she was his miracle.  It was enough not only to scream out, "Get the hell out of there," but also to cry your eyes out. We see Dawson looking at the front of the factory building as the front entrance is covered with flames, and we cut to the end of the scene and the season.

"My Miracle" was one hell of an episode that not only had humor and heartwarming but gave such an emotional punch at the end that only Chicago Fire could do. That ending that cliffhanger was such a powerful scene, still enough to make me rethink it and tear up again. The Herrmann storyline was once again so unique and heartwarming, but don't forget humor as well.

And how about the Cubbies in the episode? Bryant can look good on the field, off the field, and television. As for who will live and who will die, I'll have to take my time thinking over this summer. Last time, I didn't know Shay would die, but she died in Season Three. So, as the writers and executives say, think of what could make a good storyline for the characters. Overall, I give this episode a 10/10. And I share this season's season a valid 10/10. It was by far their best season yet.

To all the #ChiHards (Chicago fans) out there, have a great summer, and see you guys in the fall!
(I'm thinking October again, right? But let's hope for a September premiere).

Chicago Fire will be back in the fall on Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.

Chicago Fire "Carry Me"/"Sixty Days"

Image result for chicago fire

The

"Carry Me"

Casey tries his best to save his friend from a career-ending decision. Anna's situation takes a turn for the worse.

Casey tries to do everything possible, thinking his friend's accident report was not his fault. After trying to get things into motion, he and Bowden talked to the heads of the fire committee. They granted that Casey was in the clear with a report that it was not his fault but not anyone else's fault, keeping the other firefighter legacy, who had died, intact. And also, he's joining House 51.

Meanwhile, Britt tries again to be Cruz and Otis' roommate. After going through a horrible interview, she wins them over with free parking tickets. After a day, she has everything in proper order and fashion, but Cruz apologizes after he freaks out from her moving his things around. All is cool! Britt would be a fantastic roommate to have.

Severide and Anna's relationship worsens when Anna's cancer takes a wrong turn. After a call of a house fire, an elderly lady was trying to save her things. At first, Severide didn't think of why she was there but knew that she shouldn't have been there. Anna tells him that it's not about the house; it's the memories. Going back, he talks to the lady of the house and talks about the memories and such. She gives Severide something to think about and tells Anna when her health worsens, she soon passes away. Watching Severide's reaction was as painful as watching Dawson and Casey lose their child. After the funeral, Severide drives to the lady's house and helps her take out the board for the door to take with her because she couldn't live there.

Also, Cruz fights with someone at the bar as he tries to take the guy out because he is being too much of a jerk. The guy caught Cruz's fire logo on his arm and ran off. That's not a good thing.

"Carry Me" was a very emotional and memorable episode so far. It's painful to watch Severide go through that. It's nice to see Casey and his friend on good terms after helping him. I thought the writing was excellent, and the performance from Taylor Kenny was terrific. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Sixty Days"

Things seem to change.

Casey's friend Kannell joins Squad 3, and Severide tries to make him feel at home by ensuring he does his job. Severide helps him build a dryer for their firesuits. It was pretty nice.

Meanwhile, Cruz could face being fired or suspended and ask Mouch to help. But Mouch seems to be behind what's going on at the top office. There were changes like new legal and such. Mouch tries his best to help Cruz, but in the end, Cruz gets a 60-day suspension, and Cruz isn't happy with that result, blaming Mouch for being a slacker.

Dawson gets a visit from her father, who wants to spend time with her. After she turns him down because she is at work, she goes to his place to visit and finds him in a heat with someone with whom he owns money. It gets worse when Dawson and Casey are about to have a nice date night til they get a call from Herrmann about her dad being upset and drunk that he lost his house.

"Sixty Days" seems to be the go-ahead of maybe change coming with our favorite characters. I'm mostly not up to date on what's going on at the Fire Office. I'm also thinking about retiring and selling smoke alarms as well. I enjoyed this episode. It was pretty good and something I would want to look back and watch again. The writing was good, and so was the acting performance. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

You can catch the season finale of Chicago Fire tonight at 10/9c on NBC.

Chicago Fire "Babies And Fools"/"Take a Knee"/"Carry Their Legacy"

Image result for chicago fire

"Babies and Fools"

When a call comes of a car accident, Dawson suspects something very fishy.

When Dawson and Severide get a call about a car accident, they come to a scene where not only a mother is hurt, but her youngest child is missing from her car seat. As everyone was searching, one man heard a cry and found the baby in a drain, but the baby would be okay without a scratch on her.

After taking the mother and children to Med, Dawson couldn't stop figuring out how that all happened—and even tried some experiment tests like dropping off a piece of concrete from the Firehouse roof, almost hitting Cruz.

Dawson pushes the detective who's investigating to pick up the pace. After another call from a man, who probably wanted a free ride to Med for a prescription fill-up, another paramedic got a call of an accident and had someone there saving the victim before they got there, which turned out to be the same guy at the other scene. Dawson tries to chase him, but he leaves quickly and talks to the detective about it. Even Dr. Charlies got in on it, given his opinion that it's hero syndrome, someone who wants 15 minutes of fame.

After that, Dawson goes out and investigates the guy's patch that he had on his jacket and gets the name. he tells the detective about it, and after going to his house with no one home, they leave and wait. Later, Firehouse 51 gets a call of an accident, and Dawson and Britt are ahead of each other until that man on the overpass drops a piece of concrete on them, but they are okay. Casey and the team chase the man and catch him.

Meanwhile, Casey gets a visitor asking for help with the construction site near his home. When Casey tries to reason with the boss, the guy won't agree on anything, so Casey tries to find a way, but nothing comes to the guy's house and explains. But it just turned out that the guy wanted the bathroom to move away from the guy's bedroom window. Damn! I know, right?

Also, Herrmann and Kidd decided to jump on the bar hop route,e but Otis didn't like it, and even if it did cost a lot, it was worth everything as there was a massive crowd. But Herrmann was thoughtful in putting one of Otis' ideas to good use: disco night.

"Babies and Fools" was an excellent episode, memorable at that, with how Dawson investigated the streams of accidents. With that, it had a lot more humor with Herrmann, Kidd, and Otis for the bar crawl; just when you thought Otis might be right about it, it turned out to be the complete opposite. Also, the Casey story with the guy asking to move the bathroom was funny near the end, but I did feel that Casey did have that Politician charm. Overall, I give this episode a 7.5/10.

"Take a Knee"

Benny comes back and not in the best way, drunk, and is picked up by CPD. Severide picks him up, and after he takes a long nap at the firehouse, Benny offers to meet Severide's girlfriend, Anna. Anna is thrilled at first, but soon, things turn near the end when she appears at dinner with Benny, his girlfriend, and Severide, and soon she leaves without making any sense.

Casey spots a house that could be a drug house. After making a quick run after a call, he sees a baby inside the car and tries to break the window open until the mother, or what he assumes to be the mother, runs out and takes off. Casey talks with Al from PD about it, and after digging around, it's a real drug house.

Casey finds the lady who ran out on them earlier, but it isn't what you would have thought. She was there looking for her other child, who happened to be in the house, being held up by the drug dealer. Casey takes action before the CPD comes in and busts in; they bust in and try to get the girl out, and they do it successfully, but in a real thriller.

Meanwhile, Herrmann teaches his son about what being an American means. He takes him to a breakfast fundraiser for those who serve or have served in the armed forces.  It was very heartwarming.

But the fun part of the episode happens to be with Britt and Dawson as they get a trainee coming along for the day, but when a call comes, they try to figure out what may have been the cause. The trainee spots another one, finds a spray, and points out what could be, but also performs CPR on the guy near him, which he shouldn't have done. He cracks the guy's rib, but when Dawson comes over, things are good. Unlike him, he was about to be thrown out of the program until Dawson and Britt said they told him to perform and that they needed to retake the MT class.

"Take a Knee" was another excellent episode. The relationship between Anna and Severide has taken a turn. Casey is the hero once again in the best possible way, and Dawson and Britt see a future EMT that they went out to save him from being thrown out. Anything Herrmann does is just heartwarming at 110 percent. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

"Carry Their Legacy"

Things turn for the worse in Severide's relationship, and an old friend returns to see Casey.

Severide tries to find out about Anna after a call just across from Chicago Med. He asked about the nurse, and they responded that Anna had taken a leave for a reason. Soon, Kelly approached Anna's house and asked her dad to see her. Soon, she invited him in and told him that her cancer was back, and it didn't look good. Severide gives her a vote of confidence that she can pull this through.

Meanwhile, Casey reunites with an old friend growing up, and the two catch up, but when a call comes, a gas leak explodes near a construction site. Casey goes down and recuses his friend and two other firefighters.  But only one of the two that came out survived, while the other died of nasty burns.

Casey's friend took a toll and took full responsibility for what had happened, but it wasn't because it was his lieutenant who made that call. Plus, what he had put down in his report didn't make sense to Casey and Bowden. Casey tries to talk to his friend about it, but all he can say is that it was his fault, his mistake.

Dawson and Britt retook the EMT class, and this time. It was a funny storyline in this episode. Dawson acts like the cool kid while Britt studies her best, and both pass their test.

In the end, everyone gathers at the bar and tries to donate as much as possible for the families of the firefighters at Molly's.

"Carry Their Legacy" was a powerful episode with moments I could have seen coming, like Anna. Casey's friend and that gas explosion was a shocker, and watching his friend also take the fall.  I did enjoy watching Dawson and Britt in class; it was just hilarious and also reminded me of my days in school as well. I was more like Britt, and I know a couple like Dawson Sne, who are thriving today. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch Chicago Fire on Tuesday nights at 10/9c on NBC.

New Girl Returns for a Final Season

Image result for New Girl

TVLine has learned that Fox has given New Girl a Seventh and Final season of the Fox comedy.

Even though a Fox rep has not confirmed how many episodes, there have been sources saying that the farewell season will content of eight episodes. And co-star Jake Johnson had confirmed in on Twitter.

New Girl was a breakout hit when it premiered in 2011, drawing 10.3 million viewers and a 4,8 demo rating. But the ratings have cooled down with it's sixth season averaging 2.7 million viewers and a 1.3 demo rating.

I'm excited for the show to get one more season. It deserves a nice ending to its run. It's been one of my favorite shows on FOX to watch.

When The Spider Meets The Fly: The Blacklist "The Debt Collector (No. 46)"

Image result for the blacklist season 4

When word of a Blacklister is targeting Liz, the FBI try to find him with some help before getting Liz.

With Red trying to get back to the states, one of his sources tells him that The Debt Collector is after Liz, he informs her about and gets the FBI to hunt the blacklister down. In order to help out, Mr. Kaplan helps the FBI on the dead body that the Collector left near the shore in 2002.

With Kaplan helping FBI, Ressler teams back up with Julian on the investigation of Red's killings. They even met with Marvin, trying to get answers but instead talks with Ressler alone and walks away. Julian thinks that Ressler knows Marvin.

After Kaplan finds out who the Debt Collector is, Liz is kidnapped and is taken to the the cabin in the woods where he was told to take her and keep her safe til someone comes. When Red gets word of it, he talks to Kaplan and tells her that just for this time leave the hate between him and her out and come together to find Liz.

While Liz is taken, Red is on the phone with Kaplan telling her that FBI is on their way, but she's coming close to the site anyway. As soon as Red is off the phone, he puts on his hat and opens the door. Now you would think that the boat that he and Dembe are in has ported but another Blacklist moment as Red comes out of that door into the room of where Liz and the Debt Collector are in.

Apparently Red hired the Debt Collector get lore out Kaplan. It was something that I never really thought of but very clever. As soon as Kaplan and her men are at point, Red has his men on site ready to take the shot but when Liz screams out Kaplan, she makes the phone call to Red and the two had a stalemate.

As the two talk outside, the FBI get there, but the worst part is that Julian follows Ressler to the site where Red is at and during conversation with no one taking a shot...Julian tries to take the shot at Red's head but misses and things go off in a blaze of glory with Kaplan running in the woods with her men.

Later, Red talks with Liz about that last scene that Kaplan isn't one to be trusted but Liz tells him that the test came back that none of her men took the first shot. Red believes there's a mystery guest around and that they'll just have to keep their eyes open.

"The Debt Collector" was written very well and beautifully shot as well. I couldn't get enough of Red and Dembe's conversation about Kaplan. It was so beautifully done and love how Dembe says that she hurt us. Also not to mention that stand off conversation with Kaplan and Red along wit Liz as that one was so well written and performed. This will very much open to a great season finale and thank god it's a two hour epic event. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch the epic 2 hour season finale of The Blacklist next Thursday at 9/8c on NBC.

Shocking News: NBC reverses Cancelled Timeless

Image result for timeless nbc

In a weird turn of events, the television gods has granted a miracle that NBC has reserved their decision on the cancelled series Timeless.

TVLine has learned that the NBC time traveling series, that was cancelled this week, will come back for a second season.

Star Matt Lanter broke the news on a Facebook video shooting as his character, Wyatt.

"I just want to hop on and tell you that I think the mission was successful," he says as his character. "we went back, and I'm pretty sure we changed NBC's minds. So yeah, we've got more episodes coming. See you real soon."

Timeless was the sixth rated series on NBC and after four days of it's cancellation the decision was reversed at the time the series co-creator, Eric Kripke tweeted that he and his co-creator, Shawn Ryan, would try to find another home and that the "odds are long."

The show is likely to air some time in 2018, possibly Spring 2018.

#Timeless is trending in the Top 3 on Saturday after the news broke and I don't think it'll stop anytime soon. Fans of the show were campaigning their butts off to make sure that the show would get a second season and it looks like it finally has worked.

I'm so thrilled that this show is coming back. It's such has such a great group of actors and the writing has been unbelievable. Even learning about history in a different way has been mind blowing at times some that I never even learned from school.

Great News for Great News

There's some great news for NBC's Great News.

NBC has announced that they're renewing Great News for Season 2, three weeks into it's first season run of Tuesday night.

The show so far has averaged 3.6 million weekly viewers and a 0.9 demo rating of the workplace comedy starring Briga Heelan, Andrea Martin, John Michael Higgins and Nicole Richie.

The show airs Tuesday nights at 9/8c airing two episodes and it'll wrap up the season on May 23.

The Blacklist, Blindspot, Fire, PD and Med gets Renewal, But Timeless is Timeout

Image result for the blacklist season 4

NBC has announced Thursday that The Blacklist will be back for a fifth season, so grab another drink and a fedora hat for the Fall.

The 22 episode renewal comes as Season 4 gets ready for a showdown between Reddington and his confident-turned-enemy Mr. Kaplan.

The series creator Jon Bokenkamp tells TVLine that Mr. Kaplan "will undermine (Red's) criminal empire in ways he never expected" and "intends to take him apart piece by piece" in the season's final installments.

The Blacklist has average thus far this season 5.4 million weekly with a 1.0 demo rating, down 20 to 30 percent from Season 3.

You can catch the Two hour season finale next Thursday at 9/8c on NBC. No word about the spinoff series The Blacklist: Redemption on getting renewed.

Meanwhile, Wednesday was with joy and heavy hearts for fans.

First, on Wednesday night, NBC has renewed Chicago Fire and it's spinoff series Chicago PD and Chicago Med learned from TVLine. Fire will be heading into it's sixth season while PD in it's fifth and Med in it's third.

No decision on Chicago Justice, but I think that too will get picked up.

Blindspot gets pulled out of the bubble category as it gets picked up for a third season. The renewal comes as the viewership dropped sharply when last season's #1 hit show moved from Mondays at 10pm to Wednesdays at 8 for Season 2.

But for fans of Timeless the news comes to shock and with heavy hearts that the series won't get picked up for a second season.

Eric Kripke, the executive producer/co-creator confirmed the news on Twitter saying that the "odds are long, but trying to find another home" for the series.

The show average 4.6 million total viewers and a 1.1 demo rating, it was NBC's No. 6 rated drama, matching fellow freshmen Chicago Justice and the recently renewed Taken and besting out on The Blacklist, Blindspot and Shades of Blue. But the series has had an enjoyed boost in the DVR.

The show's season 1 finale left in a cliffhanger, with Lucy discovering that her mother Carol is part of the mysterious Rittenhouse organization.

Great News "Snowmageddon of the Century"/"Serial Arsonist"

"Snowmageddon of the Century"

When the whole staff can't wait to get home after a long week, a snowstorm stranded them in the office.

When the staff is on their last legs at the end of the week, they only want to finish the show and go home for the weekend. But when Carol wishes for a miracle about getting the staff and crew together, a snowmageddon leaves the staff and crew stuck.

Carol tries to get everyone closer, but no one wants to do this. It goes from bad to worst when Carol steals the staff of Morning Wined Up (a Kathie Lee and Hoda parody morning show) bottles of wine. When she handed them the bottles of wine, it became a second-holiday party, and everyone was doing some hilarious and awkward stuff.

Meanwhile, Katie gets to work with Chuck on a lead story, but Portia gets into Katie's head about how he wants to sleep with her. Katie tried to figure out how to handle it, and it was taken by kissing him, but it wasn't what he wanted. He told her that he was trying to test the waters as he has a young 20-something-year-old girl he likes to go out.

As everyone is still partying, Greg gets the call about how they will go live in 22 minutes to cover the winter storm. Everyone freaks out but comes together and puts on an excellent show, even though the introduction was slightly off.

This was one hell of an episode. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end, and at one point, this was going to be one of these supersize episodes for some reason. We finally learned about Greg's Cat, who happens to be his girlfriend named Cat and not an animal. The cast was fantastic, and I don't think everyone played equally in performance. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

"Serial Arsonist"

When a reporter is arrested, Katie takes over as field reporter.

When The Breakdown field reporter covers an arson fire and is caught for the arsonist, Greg searches for a reporter quickly. Carol thinks that Katie would be great for it, but Katie doesn't want her mother to make decisions for her like she did for a talent show.

After seeing the audition for reporters, Greg begs Katie to fill in, and she does, but after one night, everything goes into her head, and she finds out that her mother got input into her reporting.  Katie tries to give her mother payback, and instead of reporting live, she performs her act on the talent show. When Greg sees it, he freaks and puts the music video of Chuck and Justin's new theme song for the show as a replacement, which is catchy but crazy.

"Serial Arsonist" was another excellent episode. Heelan and Martin were great again in this episode. The writing was good. She was loved when Katie finally did her talent show ribbon dance. That was hilarious! Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch Great News on Tuesday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

Great News "Chuck Pierce Is Blind"/"War is Hell"

"Chuck Pierce is Blind"

When Chuck announces that he's taking a day off from The Breakdown due to an award he's getting, Katie and Greg celebrate until Greg is reminded of the promises he made to everyone.

"Chuck Pierce is Blind" is probably one of the show's funniest episodes. Mostly, it's coming from John Michael Higgins' performance as Chuck, who announces that he's taking one day off due to an award he's getting but tells Carol that he's getting eye surgery.

With Katie and Greg being happy that they get a Chuck Free Day, Greg gets everyone from the crew to put their two cents into the show, from Portia's version, Justin's kick-ass, to even Beth, the weather lady given her climate rant (which was hilarious!).

Greg can't take it anymore, and when he sees what the show looks like, he and Katie call Chuck to get him back. After telling him someone will fill in for him, which gets him back to the studio even though his condition isn't good for him to see.

When Chuck comes back, and the program begins, everyone notices Chuck's eyes and how he's reading Portia's lines, thanks to Carol reading the script to him. It was one hell of a scene that I was crying while laughing.

This episode was a nonstop laughing machine of an episode. Higgins steals the episode, hands down. I even watched Adam Campbell and Nicole Richie shine in this episode too. I thought the writing was outstanding. Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10.

"War Is Hell"

When Katie's boyfriend returns, she thinks Carol is judging the boyfriends again.

When Katie's boyfriend, Trip, returns from covering a story in Syria, Carol discovers they are a secret couple. Katie tries to get her mother to stop judging her boyfriend like the other ones she has had. That was until Katie discovers that Trip is rich and finds that he isn't absorbing as he calls himself Trippy.

Meanwhile, with Trip returning, Chuck explains how he used to cover the dangers of war in other countries. But when Greg and Justin find out why Chuck doesn't go, Chuck proves to them that he can. And also sends all three to HR for one of the most awkward and hilarious HR meetings scenes.

"War is Hell" was an excellent episode. I thought that Martin and Heelan were outstanding once again in this episode. Also, Higgins stills the episode again. The writing was not as perfect as the previous episode, but it was still good. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch Great News on Tuesday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

Kevin Can Wait "Sting of Queens Part Two" Season Finale

In the part two of the two part season finale of Kevin Can Wait, partners will get closer, a position would be taken away and a business goes out pretty fast.

The episode starts off the next day when Vanessa comes to pick up Kevin for their undercover trip to Boston. When they get up to Boston, Vanessa takes advantage by letting Kevin sleep in by using a white noise machine app, because it helps Kevin sleep so peacefully. Kevin soon realizes and meets up and the two fight over the case again.

When word of the business wasn't what they expected, Kevin realizes that the art might be fake but they're sneaking in drugs. When Vanessa goes look around, she gets caught, Kevin tries to stop him by swinging but it didn't work but made one hell of a scene that was literally the funniest scene of the episode.

Vanessa tied up and Kevin handing upside down, the two finally talk about their beef with one another. As soon as Kevin is free, he tries to untie Vanessa and apologizes to her for embarrassing her on television years ago in 2007. But as soon as they try to call for help, the couple comes back with guns pointing at them but the guy's girlfriend pulled a fast one on him and tells him she's FBI so she takes the credit.

Meanwhile, Donna gets word of the position, she didn't get it and blows over it pretty badly. After talking to Kevin about it and hearing that he might want to go back to the force and knowing that Chale's new job is solid. She quits her job.

Chale on the other hand, a day in the new job, he learns from another employee that the business is tanking and the investors have pulled out. Pretending to Kendra that things are good and he gets dropped off at work.

But when the family comes together and Donna tells them that she quit her job, she also misunderstood that Kevin wanted to get back to the police force again and freaks out. But when Kevin finally says something nice to Chale and his new job, probably not the best time but at the moment, he tells them without saying anything as the episode ends.

This was a very good episode. There were some really good moments, Donna freaking out of not getting the job, Kevin handing upside down was too funny. Just watching Kevin and  Vanessa was literally my favorite part of the episode. James and Remini haven't lost their chemistry. Not to mention Hayes puts on a really good performance too. The writing was very good as well. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

Overall Season: 8/10. I thought this season was very good. Was it at a level of other new comedy like The Good Place and Great News? Probably not, but it's near but I'll say this that Kevin Can Wait is one of those family traditional situational comedies that you really don't need to think it over. It's a simple family comedy that you can sit and laugh with family and friends like other shows like King of Queens, and Everybody Loves Raymond. The cast was amazing, mostly Kevin James and Erin Hayes really work well on screen. The other cast members were really good too. I can't wait to see what Season Two will bring.

World Coming Down? The Blacklist "Philomena"/"Dr. Bogdan Krilov"

Image result for the blacklist season 4
Hold on to your seats folks, it seems like that this season will end pretty big.

"Philiomena"

As Kaplan released the dead bodies that she had cleaned from Red, the hunt is on to find her before more damage can be done.

With a whole lot of dead bodies brought back from the icy grave,  Kaplan goes after what will hurt Red the most, his closest assists and one by one she takes them down. She gets help by Philiomena, who's a clever bounty hunter than dog the bounty hunter. This one's like the black widow of bounty hunter expect for the killing.

Red and Dembe go after Kaplan but comes short, with Liz and Samar going after Philiomena who was taking her next target Marvin Gerard. That scene with Gerard and Kaplan talking about how this whole thing she has done was pretty chilling.

But the real chill comes mostly through the episode during the investigation from one of Ressler's partners, Julian Gale, who's been investigating Reddington for a long time tries to get Ressler in the game of getting Red but don't really tell him about how his task force was to help Red.

Liz and Samar captures Philiomena and tries to get her to talk where Kaplan is because Liz wants to protect her. After a short talk, she tells where she's going and tells Red but they tell Red about the investigation of the bodies that Kaplan has released to the FBI. Soon, Red and Dembe leave to fine Kaplan.

This was a very good episode and it's just building up to a huge ending I think. The performance from Enrique Murciano as Julian Gale was pretty good as a creep FBI agent who think that even though all of these dead bodies deserved to get killed that he thinks they deserved respect. There were some chilling scenes, but mostly the one when after Liz tells Red that he can not come up if he isn't going to find Kaplan and not kill her and when she headed up to her apartment, she sees Kaplan bouncing Agnus alone. The writing of this episode was very good and a real build up. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

"Dr. Bogdan Krilov"

Talk about going back to memory lane.

When Red gets word that Kate is going after Dr. Bogdan Krilov, the man that erased Liz's memories years ago. But what Kaplan was really doing was setting up Ressler as he gets a call aout a witness in the Reven Wright case that he still won't let go that really turns out to be a set up and tries to mess with his memories.

Krilov makes Ressler believe that Hitchin was the one (who turns out to be right but with no proof). They set him up to make him believe that he met with her and talked and even followed her to her place. But as he sneaks in to her place, he tries to make her talk but Liz gets there in time to save him but not for long as he gets taken into custody for threatening Hitchin, which is what Kaplan wants as she tries to break up the Task Force.

Meanwhile, Kaplan tells one of Red's associates the truth about his son's death but when Red gets there and explain his actions, what looked like a dicing situation turns into his favor with one of his own was working under the associate so he could keep an eye out. Red and Dembe escape and gets hitch hike in a pick up truck as they try to catch up with Kaplan meanwhile, Liz meets with Gale finally and has a real conversation about the murders and Reddingotn that makes me wonder one thing: does he too work with Kaplan?

This episode was so good that even I fell for some of the twist once again like Ressler's memory and Red's tight situation. Yeah I know it's the Blacklist but I still get fooled at times. There were some good moments like Red and Liz about wiping her memory, also Liz and Krilov standoff trying to get him to talk by using his own drug to talk. Also Gloria Reuben coming back was great. Kind a wish that her and Cooper could share a scene it would be a very nice little ER reunion. The writing was very solid and good. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch The Blacklist Thursday nights at 10/9c on NBC.

Mother-Daughter Love: Great News 'Pilot"/"Bear Attack"

Related image

"Pilot"

Great News hits the mother-daughter relationship with a nail on the head in the best way possible.

The series is about Katie, a producer at a local news station who does only puff pieces but wants to do more, but when her mother, Carol, whom she is very close to, comes in wanting to do an internship, it'll drive Katie to crazyvillie. When Greg hires Carol as Chuck's intern, Katie tries to get her fired, but it backfires when Carol has a connection with Chuck after forgetting his snack time.

When Carol finds out about how Katie doesn't want her, she tries to convince her to come back, and also, after her hurricane lead story is downgraded, she gets her mother in a story as baby boomers returning to the workplace.

The show makes fun of the inner and outside of the new media I enjoy. It's still got that 30 Rock vibe, but it's still perfect. The cast is fantastic, from Briga Heelan and Andrea Martin as Katie and Carol to Nicole Richie and John Michael Higgins as the two anchors of different ages. The writing was very, very good, probably an excellent pilot since The Good Place.
Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

"Bear Attack"

When a dangerous story comes, and Katie wants it, Carol leashes out her helicopter parenting to take effect.

When a bear escapes the zoo, Katie wants to chase the story, but when Carol learns about what happened to someone, she becomes the helicopter parent once again and tries to get Katie away from the story.

Carol tries to get Greg, the executive producer, to stop Katie from covering the story. After Kaite learns that Greg took her out, she tries to protect it, but Carol tries to diverge the situation. Katie catches on and tries to get to the zoo on a bike, but she hasn't learned how to ride a bike. And after many attempts, Carol shows her how, and soon, she rides off.

Meanwhile, with The Breakdown losing in the ratings against another news program, Greg thinks that Chuck and Portia should talk at the end of the news about something they have in common. After several meetings with HR, the two finally found common ground with a topic: lemonade. It's either the Beyonce album or the drink, but it's familiar ground for discussion anyway.

Katie did get that story, but also part of the footage when The Breakdown showed her riding the bike and crushing as she tried to stop.

This episode was terrific. I thought that Bear Attack was hilarious and was just another well-written episode. As much as Heelan and Martin were great, Richie and Higgins were hilarious in this episode. I love the scene when they are in Greg's office, and as they try to find shared topics, they find one that could ruin their program: talking about their rival program. Also, the scene with Chuck trying to speak with Portia at the anchor desk as a warm-up ended up with an HR meeting. Funny!! Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Great News on Tuesday nights at 9/8c on NBC.
