Intense Pressure: Chicago Med "In Search of Forgiveness, Not Permission"

This week's episode of Chicago Med was once against very good as they pushed these characters to new limits.

I loved this week's episode, "In Search of Forgiveness, Not Permission," as it once again had some terrific stories.

Ethan, who's been going through intense pressure since being chief of the ED, and Dr. Charles, trying to treat a plastic surgeon patient who comes in after performing surgery on himself. After the previous episode, Ethan won me over once again.

That scene with Ethan talking to Charles about what had set him off was so good—my favorite episode scene.

Natalie and Crockett's story was as good as it could have gone, but I still question that final scene. The storyline of the cancer patient and trying to surgically get rid of it, even if it was a massive challenge because of the size of the tumor, and almost getting fired for their actions, was one that had me on my feet for the entire episode.

April and Will working together again made me so happy, as they have such a great working relationship. While Will's story was good and a bit predictable, I thought what Will had done was the right choice because he had no other options.

As Maggie gets cleaning duty in the ED, Maggie's foster child's health takes its turn when they find out that he needs a transplant, but not on a high level. So Maggie takes things into her own hands and tries to find a match by using the DNA test to find a relative. Hopefully, they'll find someone soon.

Plus, Goodwin is back at Med!

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
