It's ield trip day but instead of excitement Evan learns that he was left out from Gwen's get to together is their friendship in jeopardy? Here's recap.
Since the beginning of the series we see how Evan and Gwen are the BFFs of the series, even the chemistry between the actors are shown, as it's one of the many reasons the show shines. But when Evan learns during the school field trip that he wasn't invited to Gwen's house for help or even have some fun, he starts to question it which lead to some friction between the BFFs.
Meanwhile, Markie, who has been hanging out at Gwen's place to help, believes that she has the hots for him, which is totally not true. He pursues it anyway by hanging out and even letting her try his night vision goggles, which turned into disaster when she starts to have an allergic reaction to latex, which had Evan jump in and save the day for Gwen, fixing their friendship.
"Field Trip" is a lovely episode that's pretty much about the relationship between Evan and Gwen, with a small conflict that was effective for the characters to develop; as we hardly see them fighting in the series, so far. Even during the episode, you see two students, who are BFFs, going through the same conflict as Evan and Gwen. Alvarez and Keoning were amazing in the episode, while Patton delivers another funny performance.
Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.
