The Right to Learn Bear Arms: English Teacher "School Safety"

When Even learns that the school has a gun club, he wants his students to fight it. Will they succeed? Here are my thoughts on the episode.

"School Safety" is another funny episode involving Evan, who is shocked to have thought there were gunshots at the school. It turns out to be just shots fired from the gun club, which is led by Markie (of course, right).

Evan tries to fight this, but Principal Moretti tells him that there's nothing they can do because the school board approves the club. That is until Evan gets his students to protest at the school while dressing up like ghosts, but even Markie comes back with the same exact thing as his club protest on their protest and dresses up like ghosts, too.

But when Evan comes up with a way to stop it by having one of his students write a threatening letter, it gets used to shut down the club but also gets the teachers to be educated on using guns. By the end, after Evan confesses, he and the rest of the staff still take gun lessons, which, in the end, leads to Evan enjoying shooting.

Meanwhile, Gwen learns she's ranked 26th on the teacher's hot list, for which she tries to make herself look younger and better. But when she finds the student who made the list, she learns he was just trying to help her.

This episode was not only hilarious but also witty with its characters. I especially enjoyed watching Evan and his students discuss the gun club, how they should protest, and how they executed it.

While Sean Patton has stolen these past four episodes with such hilarious performances, Stephanie Koenig gives another hilarious performance (probably close to the one she gave in the second episode, "Powderpuff") as Gwen tries to figure out about the online hot teacher list.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
