Wings: 20 Years Later After Final Flight

Image result for Wings nbc

It was on this date back in 1997 that the television series Wings took its last flight. Wings ran for eight seasons on NBC, part of that Must See TV era with Cheers, Seinfeld, and Fraiser.

The series was set in a fictional airport in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where brothers Joe and Brian Hackett (starring Tim Daly and Steven Webber) operate Sandpiper Air. There's Crystal Bernard as Helen Chappel-Hackett, Thomas Haden Church as Lowell Mather, David Schramm as Roy Biggins, Rebecca Schull as Fay Cochran, Tony Shalhoub as Antonio Scarpacci along with Farrah Forke as Alex Lambert, and Amy Yasbeck as Casey Chappel.

It was such an excellent, friendly family comedy that was so clever and hilarious. There were some perfect moments. I've always enjoyed the Joe and Helen moments. I loved the end of season three when the gang was heading toward Helen's debut of playing for the Boston Symphony, and they came with issues with the plane and had to make an emergency landing. And come season four, Joe loses his plane and has to close his business for a while. Also, Helen and Joe's wedding was excellent. And I couldn't forget about Tony Shalhoub's character, Antonio, who does steal some of the best moments on the show.

I do recommend you watch this series. The series finale, which aired on this date, ended nicely and full circle, in my opinion. I could see now that 20 years later, the Hackett boys were still together with two and five planes. Joe and Helen have two children, and everyone else is happy to be around one another.

#OneChicago Chicago Fire "Deathtrap"/Chicago PD "Emotional Proximity"/Chicago Justice "Fake"

Image result for Chicago Fire, Chicago PD Chicago Med Chicago Justice crossover

Talk about one hell of an emotional roller-coaster ride!

Wednesday night was the epic four-show crossover of all four Chicago series. It started with the Chicago Fire in "Deathtrap," which opened up with Firehouse 51 getting the call of a warehouse fire that called for every firehouse and ambulance to get there. It was a hands-on-deck situation.

Image result for chicago fire pd med justice crossover
For the first 30 minutes of the episode, it felt like an hour, and that was because it felt so raw, emotional, and movie-like episode. I mean, I was getting teary eyes at times, and my heart was pumping fast. Severide tries to get everyone out as he tries to bust the locked door, and soon, both Squad and Truck go in there.

They get others out, and even Mouch had an accident as well. But the moment comes when Al, from PD, comes to Bowden and tells him that his daughter lives there. He first searches and sees if Dawson has seen her, but no signs at all. Al begs Bowden to go back in there, which Bowden does. He and Severide find her and another person, and with the fire growing and growing, their hearts race, but they make it out.

Both Fire and Med share the hour, treating patients but also treating Al's daughter, with Will and Natalie on hand. Al's daughter was burned 60 percent of her body, and her lungs also suffered smoke burns. Things looked hopeful for her. The episode captured the realness of emotion and shock as Casey and Bowden look at those who didn't make it and wonder who the hell would have done this.

The warehouse owner shows up and soon gets attacked by grieving families and friends. They took him to Firehouse 51 to talk with Bowden and the Fire Deputy about the situation. He tells them that he didn't know it was going to be that many people and the reason why he let people live there was that other places were so high on rent. After hearing the death count up to 36, the owner asks for the bathroom and seconds later blows his head off with a gun. Severide and Susan inspect the warehouse and spot the origins of the fire and that it was arson.

Soon, Chicago PD jumps on the case in the episode "Emotional Proximity" when Voight tries to see Al and his daughter and gets word from Bowden that it is arson. Quickly, Al's daughter takes a turn for the worst, and Will and Natalie jump. In and cut the burns around her chest so her lungs can expand. Things didn't look so good for her, and it didn't as later her condition worsened to the point that her organs were failing.

Voight and the Intelligence Unit pulled everything they had into searching for the suspect. You can cut the emotional intentions with a knife. It was sometimes overwhelming, even in the scene when Erin takes Al's daughter's photo and places it with the others who have died, making in 38 people.

Like insignificant episodes like PD, they balanced out the drama and humor along with an incredible chase scene with Halstead jumping over the hood of a car, which was a nasty ass and one of my favorites. With suspect after suspect, things picked up when they got a video of the suspect leaving the warehouse party and soon figured that he'd be there at the memorial, which he was.

Erin, Halstead, and Ruzek get him moving the alley and right into Voight's hand, or should I see Voight's gun? If you think that would be intense, it was when he and the suspect wrecked in the cage, and he demanded answers, even with a knife to the neck, which didn't do much. But Al storms in and demands to have a word, for which Voight wouldn't allow it. But soon, Antonio gets word from Al that the suspect told him he did it, which wasn't what had happened.

Now, taking the suspect into custody, we jump to Chicago Justice, the first full episode, and look into the series since its pilot episode last season on CPD. Antonio finds out that the suspect didn't tell Al or Voight anything that he had caused the fire and soon tells Stone about it a day later, which doesn't help.

The suspect's lawyer plays Stone like a game and tries to get the trial dismissed. With the fake news report to even that the suspect was even raped by his uncle, but it all comes down to one victim from the fire that triggered him to do what he did.

This whole thing was all about a girl he liked, and asked her out for coffee, but she declined and told him she was busy with other things. He stalks her on Facebook and sees how much fun she's having with other people; he wonders why not him, and so it was all about if he can't have her, then she can't have anything else.

Stone makes his case one last time, and with the suspect's reaction, he is guilty of all charges, from the fire to even the 38 counts of murder. While we hear about the count of Al's daughter, the last scene shows Al in tears as justice is finally done.

This event was one hell of a #OneChicago crossover. It felt like a feature film. The performances from everyone were terrific. Even Bradley Whitford was great. The writing was so solid. I couldn't find anything wrong with it except that I wish it had limited commercial interruptions; that would have been much better for Fire. But Dick Wolf and the gang know what they are doing, and I leave it up to them to do whatever they want. Overall, I give this TV event a 10/10.

You can catch Chicago Justice tonight at 9/8c on NBC, followed by the premiere of Shades of Blue at 10/9c.

Chicago Fire will return on March 21 at 10/9c, and Chicago will return on March 22 at 10/9c. Chicago Med will be following this week at 9/8c on NBC.

Chills with Emotion: Chicago Med "Cold Front"

Image result for Chicago Med Season 2

Like a cold front being the cold air, a new Chicago Med brings another tremendous power.

"Cold Front" will be rememberedembeforom its emotional and powerful stories of our heroes facing the odds to help save their patients. If there's an episode that best describes what the show is about, it would be this very episode.

When a blizzard hits Chicago, it causes a massive pileup on the highway, and it looks like everything will be coming to Med. Choi and Jeff are there to treat as much as they can, alongside Casey, Severide, and Bowden being there. There, there was a family of four in a van, a man who was in an explosive truc,k and a pregnant woman who was found away from her car.

Let's start with the family: a family of four, one being a cousin, comes in as the father was taken to the OR fast, the mother being treated for cuts and wounds, but it was the boys that needed treatment—one with a hip fracture and the other with a leg fracture.

Both were in dire need of blood, but with a storm, none can't come in; the hospital was low on blood, but there were only a couple left. It left a heavy decision time for both doctors and even the mother/aunt as to who gets the blood. The one who'll survive would be the lady's nephew. Do you think that her husband agreed with it? No, he couldn't believe she let them pick her nephew over their son.

Let's move on to probably one of the most memorable stories in this episode was of Dr. Ethan Choi, who treated the burned victim from the crash. But when Dr. Latham saw him, he wanted Choi not to give him treatment because he burned over 95 percent of his body, but Choi tried to fulfill his patient's dying wish to tell his wife how much he loved her.

But after putting him on the vent, Rhodes tells Choi that they needed it because of the shortage due to the storm. Choi took his patient off the vent and helped him pump air til his wife got there, but Rhodes later wanted him to help put a tube in for another patient; at that point, the patient heard what was going on and grabbed his arm to tell him that it was okay to let go. I don't know about you, but I was literally in tears throughout Choi's story. But here's probably another one: as soon as Choi is done with that other patient, he overhears Halstead and Manning about the son's condition and that he needs- blood now. Choi is blood and gives as much as the kid needs.

Over moments: Rhodes and Latham had another good-to-WTF moment. Dr. Charles meets a loud patient who needs a refill, but when he leaves the hospital and "his brother" calls to tell Dr. Charles that he has died, it sets Charles down a moody path. But here's a surprise: the patient didn't die. He wanted to mistreat Charles, but he would pay the piper at the end: being held for 72 hours. And I think we might need to keep an eye on Wheller down the road; I'm a bit worried about him after the last couple of weeks.

"Cold Front" is another excellent and mighty one-hour television. The writing was so powerful, and the acting was on another level. I want to give Brian Tee the performance of the night, maybe even the performance of the week, as he was just outstanding. Also, Gehlfuss and Torrey gave their best performance, but mostly, we got to see a couple of #Manstead moments. Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10.

You can catch Chicago Med when they return in the historical television Chicago Crossover event on Wednesday, March 1st at 8/7c on NBC, and new episodes return on March 2nd at 9/8c on NBC.

Strong Love: This Is Us "I Call Marriage"

Image result for This Is Us

Love, divorce, reunions and griefs touch this episode through and through.

"I Call Marriage" is another beautiful installment of how Jack and Rebecca's love for each other shows on screen. To me, I just want to give them the biggest bear hug every time I seen them at an heartwarming moment. Nevertheless, there are serious concerns ahead for Randle and happy moments for now with Kevin and Kate.

Let's start off with Jack and Rebecca, who we see in the past that they just got married and Jack's best man and friend, Miguel gives the best man speech. The speech becomes what is true about the newly happy couple but years later when Jack and Rebecca meet up with Miguel and his wife for the first time since they've been busy with their own things and kids, they get news about them two getting a divorce.

Jack later asked Miguel how did they know, Miguel responded that it just sort of happens. Jack thinks of something very nice and romantic for Rebecca to prove that their love isn't dying that every day is a new adventure. He takes her to their first apartment where they lived (how lovely right?). But before taking off, Rebecca and her band gets the word that they're gonna play more but she has to get Jack's approval after all e's putting in more hours and letting her still follow her dream. But that will be for the next episode.

Along with that, Kevin and Sophie finally reunited after 12 years apart. He tells her that he still wants to be with her but for her, she doesn't seem to want to go down that road again. After all, she was in a dark time when they divorce from moving back with her parents.  But after being stuck in the subway, calming her down, things might look bright for them after all, she did come back to their restaurant and spot.

Toby visits Kate for the day and is introduced to Duke, the one that has hit on Kate since she got there, and the two had a nice chat (nothing violent). But after hearing what he said, Toby decided to take a day and try some of the classes along with Kate, making her feel awkward but the two talked and it was about time that Toby tells her that she needed to give instead of take, take, take most of the time. I've realized that a lot through this season, even though a small amount has been giving. But Toby pulls out his grandmother's wedding ring and I guess you can all it a proposal.

Randle on the other hand, is dealing with grief and other things. Trying to suck it up might be the best used to describe him in this episode. When his oldest daughter is up late with William learning about chess because she's in a tournament that day, he plays out that William will be fine and lets move one.  Then comes work and when it came to him and his co-worker trying to settle a deal with a client, he wanted to be there more than his family and supporting his daughter. Good news, he missed the meeting and went to his daughter's match, for which she won. But it's the way he's been treating the girls, his wife about William that really gets me that he must be in denial but also showing signs of something else like shaking in his hands.

I enjoyed this episode enough to say it might be one of my favorite because I loved Kevin/Sophie story and not to mention Jack and Rebecca as well. The writing was good, there was a lot of really good moments that made me laugh, like Kevin telling Sophie about how he's Facebook friends with her under a different name.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch This Is Us Tuesday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

With Great Power, Comes Great Teamwork: Powerless "Wayne or Lose" Series Premiere

It's a great concept: "It's a superhero world and we live in it."

Powerless, the first comedy from DC Comics, dives into the world where normal non-superpower people who lives with superheroes battling villains everyday and suffers from it. That's where we meet a team that tries to help those in those everyday crisis.

Emily Locke becomes the Director of Research and Development at Wayne Security to help inspire her team to come up with something new; instead of making some kind of knock off from Lexcrop or just changing a color to something that has already been made.

But when Bruce Wayne calls and tells his cousin, Van Wayne, that he's fired everyone. Emily tries her best to get inspirational with her team, but they don't seem to want to get creative now that they're fired. After a moment alone with Jackie, Van's personal assistant, talking, the idea pops that got the ball rolling from an invention that tracts someone's whereabouts before they get there.

I've really enjoyed "Wayne or Lose." The writing is amazingly strong with such interesting characters. It's fresh and it's just a different fun perspective of the normal people in a superhero world. Vanessa Hudgens really shines! Even though this is her first time at comedy, it's like she has been doing comedy for a couple of years. Plus the way her character is presented, she's gotten me motivated to do something too. The ensemble cast is amazing and brings a lot to the show. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Powerless Thursday nights at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Space and Attention: The Good Place "Category 55 Emergency Doomsday"

In what turns out to be another hilarious and probably one of my favorite episodes out of the five that the show has aired so far.

As Michael treats everyone with an all kind of flavor frozen yogurt, due to last weeks sink hole. As Eleanor couldn't figure out what she wanted, she let another person cut in line, which was a good thing and ran back to Chidi to tell him what happen.

After class, Eleanor feels that after what she had done that Chidi could teach her more. But she doesn't pick up the signs that he's pretty tired of teaching for the day. Later she picks up his excuses, Chidi tells her that she's been a full time job and that he wants to take a break and not teach all the time.

That kind of put their friendship and soulmate relationship to the test. At the same time, that sink hole has grown bigger and causing a Category 55 Emergency Doomsday Crisis for Michael and Janet to handle. At that time, Michael orders the people in The Good Place to stay inside their homes or anyplace that they're in and not to go outside.

Michael takes a couple that lives where the sink hole has grown and placed them with Eleanor and Chidi. That caused them a little tension til that couple could read their non-verbal gestures and for which they talked to them about their problem. One guy notice that one of them was hiding something and that was Chidi, for which he tells that he had never had a soulmate on Earth and thought it was going to be what he had thought about, but not with someone like Eleanor. That lead to them two going to bed together.

But  Eleanor and Chidi worked things out as Eleanor gives Chidi his fantasy paradise, drinking wine and reading french poetry while on a boat, Yuck!, right?

Meanwhile, during this episode, Tahani snooped into Michael's files and saw that she's in the second to last on the neighborhood list rankings. That drew her to trying to become a better person, for which we understand why during a few flashbacks with her family. Seeing that she's always the second best than her sister at what she does. But Michael gotten it straightened out with her that the rankings are the official numbers after they died.

The next day, the sink hole has been recovered and back to it's solid ground. That cheers everyone expect for Michael and tells Eleanor that they are going to busy dealing to whatever has caused this no matter what it takes.

As I said at the beginning, this might be one of my favorite episodes of the five so far in this series. Loved the relationship between Chidi and Eleanor, that's the one thing that made me loving this episode. I also enjoyed Tahani's storyline as we understand why she always had to be amazing around people and getting their approvals.

And I don't know about you, but I would love to see the list of what kind of flavors they got in the shop. The Full Charged Battery sounds like a relaxing flavor to try.

Overall, I give this episode a 10/10.

You can catch The Good Place Thursday nights at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Deep Family Secret: Blindspot "If Beth"

Jane gets a family history while the FBI dealing with an art assassin and a secret for Weller that will have you stun.

Jane gets a little information of why Sandstorm is doing what they're doing. Roman shows her to Canada to show her what they're fighting for. Now this might nt be a lot to understand but when Sheppard confronts Jane about her family and what they suffered from and to what Jane and Roman brought to her makes perfect sense that they're gonna after the Government.

Meanwhile, Patterson finds a hidden code in the honeycomb tattoo on Jane's hand. It gave a number and a name. It lead to a man that goes with a code name shadocat. After capturing and leaving shadocat out cold thanks to Reade's issue, the team navigates into an assassin about to hit an art gala.

The team goes undercover, each member takes on each level of floors. When Patterson went downstairs, she gets attack from the assassin but Weller gets there in time to save Patterson and chase the assassin but looses her.

Jane confronts her and battles with another great fight scene that Blindspot has given. But after almost kicking her butt, she pulls out flash bombs and knocks out Jane.  The team searches to find who this assassin ad find where she was going to hit next. That's where they caught her and questioned her. Shocking enough she admits she's a CIA agent, but there are no files to prove that.

She opens up and tells Weller and Jane everything and soon we get from job to asking to save her child from her father. That was something, Weller and the gang catches up where the father and her daughter are at and the father starts shooting at them.

After taking down the father, all of the sudden the daughter takes shots at the FBI too, until Jane talks to her, calms her down and takes her to her mother. The two reunite and things look peaceful.

Reade is still struggling with the Coach Jones case. It's now reflecting his job when he injured two suspects. Zapata is the only one concern for his safety.

Weller and Nas seem to get along in this episode. After the case, they both have a scotch and soon after Nas shows Weller why Sandstorm is using him from the start by showing a clip of the graduating the academy that Sandstorm has been watching Weller from the beginning. How weird is that?

This was an amazing episode!!! We got to see Weller and Nas grow closer as co leaders of the team. The writing was good, the performance from the cast was great again.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10

You can catch Blindspot Wednesday nights at 8/7c on NBC.

High Emotions: Chicago PD "All Cylinders Firing"

I'm just going to say it... give Amy Morton the performer of the week!!!

This episode took the character Platt into a situation that we've never seen in the four seasons of CPD. When Platt gets attacked from an unknown person, Hank and the team goes far and wide to search for the person.

The team looks into those that had threaten Platt. There were things that even the Intelligence Unit didn't know she was doing, like being a security guard at a local liquor store. But it was that they didn't know that she came from a rich father, who had some business go under and still make a lot of money.

When Platt woke up, she gets the news that her father was also attack and died. That look from Platt gave to Erin was a look that has stuck into my memory. And yet she tells Erin and the gang that she doesn't know anyone that would want to attack her or her father, but it's Trudy, as she tells them no, she had that funny look.

When the Intelligence gets a good lead, Burgess tells Platt about a car. Platt knows who it was and leaves Chicago Med and goes after the man, McGregor, who had a hand in one of her father's businesses.

Platt catches him and gets him to cuff him. She takes him into a basement and beats him a few times but soon Voight comes in and tries to get her to tell him about the situation so he can help. I had a feeling that Voight would be coming to help her pulling another go after lead to the others.

From scenes of Hank and Platt in the basement to the final scene of Platt and Mouch at Med, it was literally the best 10 minutes of television I've seen so far. Emotions were set high at the beginning of the episode and emotions were overwhelming at the end. As I said at the beginning of this piece, "give Amy Morton the award for Performer of the Week.

Overall, I give this episode a 10/10.

You can catch Chicago P.D. Wednesday nights at 10/9c on NBC.

The Surprise and Shocker:Chicago PD "Born Into Bad News" Season Finale

In this season finale of Chicago PD, there's nothing but intense, emotion and even a surprise or two that will have you stun.

So, Erin is not quite herself since Nadia's death. She's turn to her mother and got into a bit of a relationship with an old friend. That didn't turn out the way we hope.

Erin wakes up hangover, late to work as well. Voight and the retired Captain had a meeting about his nephew getting in some trouble with another task force.

When Voight gives the intelligence the download of the situation. Erin comes in late and after talking about the whole situation, Voight ask Erin to come in his office. He tells her that he needs her to be on top of things, notice that she's been late. She tells him that she's fine and is on top.

Voight has a plan to get these guys caught but is going to need Erin to be part of it. She goes and meets with the unit. She asked them a question that grills them. She tells them that Voight has a job for them to do. They meet with Voight at a bar and they agreed on the job.

Erin goes with the guys as Voight and the gang are watching from all four corners of the house. They go in and threaten the dealer of his money. He only had a few thousand dollars but it was when the dealers child come outs and the leader of the group puts a gun to the child's head and threatens.

Erin took to heart to stop this and shoots the guy. Voight and the rest head in and takes down the guys, getting them on taking money and selling drugs. The charges against the group of cops didn't stick because of Erin not being there and not taking the drug test because she would fail.

Worst part is that Bunny comes in the Station and ask for Erin because she has a gift for her, a photo of her and Nadia. Boy did Voight had her removed from the building. The lady just can't take a hint at all. Erin  is grieving and she's using that to get close to her.

Voight finds out about Erin when she came back. He relieves her from her duties and goes home.

Voight gets a phone call from the retired Captain. He tells him that he has his nephew and that they need to meet with him until a gang circles them and shoots them. The nephew comes out alive.

Voight and the gang takes a look around. He then talks with the nephew of what he's hiding, because the one of the guys mention an address that they hit. The nephew took some money.

The gang makes a moves in on a Latin drug kings, demanding on where these guys are hitting. They mention that they're going to take out a lady cop, which is  Erin.

Erin gets home with bag of grocery and her friend is there with beer and booze hoping to have some down time. When they go in, the gang is there and hits her friend in the head.  Erin is like totally cool and scared.

Atwater and Roman get there in time, Atwater takes out one in the leg and saves Erin. Just before that scene happen, you can see Erin just in like she's embarrassed with what's going on.

The leader apparently wasn't there and Voight makes a one ride there to his house and they have a meet and greet. The guy leaves out almost a million dollars on the table and throws a deal to Voight about taking half of it and letting him go. That wasn't going to happen. Voight gets him to put the cuffs on and he's off to jail.

Meantime, there's been some shocking moments that I've left out. One of them was that Al keeps getting phone calls and messages from a old friend that turned out to be an ex-lover when he was married. But he gets a phone call from a girl in jail, apparently her mother is the one he worked with and turns out that she is Al's daughter.

The other came near the final scene when Voight looking for Erin. She's at her mother's bar drinking a beer. Voight talks to her and tries to convince her to come with him. She's been thinking that she can't do the job anymore, that people that she has cared about have gotten hurt.

Even Bunny got on it too. Erin can't do the job no more. Voight tries to take her out and than demands that as her boss to get back to work but what she did was that she handed in her badge. And oh my god season three will be something...

I felt more compelling towards Erin in this episode. She's in a bad state of mind right now. The death of Nadia has really taken a toll on her and the meaning of her job. I think I speak with all fans of this show that we all care for her.

Also I have to mention that there might be a CPD Wedding with Ruzek purposing to Burgess. Well, at least something happy has come out of this episode, right?

I enjoyed this episode a lot. So much emotion with Linsey's story line and some intense scenes with Voight having a nice heated chat with one of the drug kings.

All in all, I give this season finale a 9/10. And as for overall this season, I give this season 9/10 as well because this season was full of character development and exciting stories that just takes my breathe away and blows my mind.

Chicago PD will return in the fall. You can catch episodes, clips and other things of Chicago PD at nbc.com.

Love and Rouge:The Mysteries of Laura "The Mystery of the Corner Store Crossfire" Season Finale

The season finale of The Mysteries of Laura shows not only that this is a police dramedy but also that it has some heart. The first

In last week's shocking cliffhanger, Jake gets shot by an unknown robber. We cut to as Laura rushes to the hospital and demands to see Jake, as she's in a precarious state now. Laur Sees him as he exits the elevator and runs to him. Stop by the doctor; he tells her to wait in the waiting room and let him do his job, which she'll do for Laura.

Billy, Frankie, and Meredith are at the scene; Laura comes in and takes over by questioning the store clerk who saw it all.  Laura was determined to find Jake's shooter, even if she had to play a bit dirty.

The team arrested a DJ who had robbed a couple of other places. Billy and Laura questioned him and got him to spill some helpful information, even though he wasn't the shooter. They looked for the clerk at the shop but couldn't find him. But they did find his girlfriend, who's keeping their relationship on the down low because of his family. After she couldn't say much to Billy and Meredith, DJ was brought to talk to Laura, who was not in a perfect mood.

After spilling this, her boyfriend made a gun from the 3D machine and gave it to the shooter, asking for it. Billy and Meredith found the guy and got him to talk, but it was too late that he gave the gun to the shooter earlier.

They found the guy near the JFK airport at an auto shop. In that scene, Laura was bound to get answers and even took on a tall and big guy. But with him looking at another person, that gave Laura a hint that he's the guy. Of course, the guy ran but didn't get any further as Laura turned on the car wash machine and captured the guy.

It turned out later that he wouldn't use the gun but deliver it to another person. Someone was going to use it in the courthouse. They sweep the place until Laura knows and sees it through the security cameras of the person, a mother who lost her child to this guy on the trail.

Laura and the gang rush into the courtroom and talk to the mother down. Laura looked like she was relieved that this case was over. After the case, we see her talking with her dad about how she's been excellent as a single person and expects that she and Jake are divorcing.

Jake comes out of his coma; not only did he suffer from a gunshot to the chest, but suffered a head injury. He might not remember any after he says things like when Jake asked Laura to give him one last chance to be the husband and father he can be. Laura did admit that she still loves him. She tells her boyfriend that they might need a break, and he agrees and tells her that he'll be waiting.

Laura then comes in and sees how Jake doesn't remember that she brought his seat pillow to him. She walks out for a bit and sees everyone in the room that this family//this dysfunctional family is probably the best thing she has.

This episode starts quickly, like I saw in the previous episode, and then cuts to Laura in the ER. Emotions run high in the beginning for the first half hour. I couldn't get enough of Debra Messing's performance; she was in a more serious role.

It was a case of revenge from a mother who lost her child and wanted to take out the murderer that I didn't see coming.

Overall, I give this episode an 8/10; it was perfect. Robert Klein came back as Laura's father, funnier than ever. It wasn't a disappointment at all.

Overall, this season, I think it's been one of the best new series in a while. I don't care what other people may say about it. This series is excellent as it is. I find it to be like that Saturday Evening Mystery show. It's a simple series that you can sit, relax and follow. Debra Messing is unique, and so is this cast.

The series will return in the fall regularly, on Wednesdays at 8/7c, still part of the Woman Crush Wednesday with Law & Order: SVU and Chicago PD.

The Bucky and The Wecked: Tuesday Night Comedies

Undateable: "A Priest Walks Into a Bar"

This week's episode deals with two things: getting a job and wanting more than a booty call.

It starts with Danny, who has been tweeting out stuff that suck and not suck on twitter, is set up a job interview by the help of his sister, Leslie. But Danny doesn't want to do it because he's a bit scared. Justin challenges him to do it. And soon Danny takes that challenge.

It's not until after Leslie sets up everything that Justin apologizes to Danny for what he had said of challenging him of getting the job. That led Danny to not go and upset Leslie who gave a choke hold on Justin for her thanks.

But Justin gets Danny a second interview and brings the guy to the bar where he talks to Danny. Danny soon realized that it's a job interview and get's upset but after listening to Justin's story of how he wanted to be Mr. Von Trapp in Sound of Music but got the part of the younger girl. That set Danny to go for the interview and soon got the job.

Meanwhile, probably one of the funniest B-storyline in the show so far is when Shelly has been seeing this lady name Vanessa. It's not a relationship but a one night stand, a booty call. Candice doesn't like it and talks to Shelly about it that he should pursue Vanessa into a relationship.

After Shelly tricked Candice with a fake booty call, mixing with Love Actually and Hugh Grantt that got Candice all soft and distracted. Soon Shelly left to go for that booty call. Then Candice stopped Shelly and soon got him to ask Vanessa to come to the bar and ask for more than a booty call. Vanessa refused but then text for him to came at midnight. Shelly declined.

Even though, Shelly didn't like it, it was for the best and with Candice trying to make things better by telling him a story of her and mother being homeless and having a friend to see that was her own reflection.

This episode was hilarious. A lot of funny Matrix references all over and at the end Danny dresses up as Neo and Shelly comes in dress as Morpheus. I couldn't stop laughing after that.

You can catch Undatebale Tuesday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

One Big Happy: "A Tale of Two Hubbies"

In one of the wackiest and funniest episodes so far. This week's episode of One Big Happy deals with the fact that Luke and Prudence weren't actually married when they were in Vegas.

The gang went to Vegas for the weekend and when they stopped at the place where Luke and Prudence got married it turned out to be a fake place for the mod. Which means that they aren't married and Prudence will soon be deported if she isn't married.

So that gives Lizzy an idea to through a prefect wedding and had an idea to bring Prudence's dad over too. That turned out to be a bad idea. It turns out that Martin isn't Prudence's father but her husband. Yeah, Prudence married him. The only reason was for his last name because her actual last name is a name that I couldn't even spell or pronounce.

So Lizzy, Luke and Prudence try to get Martin to sign the papers. Luke failed as Martin is such a fast British talker. Things too a turn when they brought Martin back home and drunk as hell. Lizzy tries to get him to sign the papers and the next morning, he turns out to love Lizzy than Prudence.

Luke than ask Lizzy to take one for the team but she not for that team. So Lizzy pretends like him very much and got him to sign the papers. But she tells him that he signed divorce papers for a lesbian and then that got Martin excited and called his buddies.

Meanwhile, as that heated up another heats up in the kitchen when Luke heard that Prudence and Martin got married after being together for three days. That got Luke thinking that maybe Prudence doesn't love him at all and she's doing it just to stay in the states. Soon Luke leaves in what was a dramatic fashion that I haven't seen on the show and it was one of the best.

Than we come to Lizzy and Marin, as he told her that he doesn't do any work and there shouldn't be no kids. That got Lizzy to tell him that she might be pregnant and pulls out a pregnancy test but he leaves as fast as he could.

That leaves to Prudence come to Lizzy, fully upset and hugging that Luke is gone. Lizzy than tries to bring some tension down with a couple of humor, which worked in my opinion.

I enjoyed this episode very much. There were so many one liners that I couldn't pick. I really enjoyed that we got some emotional scene with Luke being upset. That was really good. Lizzy once again brings the humor along with Prudence and their friends.

I assume that we'll find out this Tuesday of what will happen.

You can catch One Big Happy Tuesday nights at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.
