Chicago Bulls Name Another Former Player as Special Advisor

CHICAGO- It was announced Monday that the Chicago Bulls has named former Bulls player Toni Kukoc as Special Advisor to the President and COO of the team, Michael Reinsdorf.

"You only have to be around Toni for a few minutes to appreciate his personalty, passon and professionalism and recognize the contributions he will make t our team in his new role," said President and COO Reinsdorf. "Toni will work across the organization and his duties will be wide-ranging. He will bring valuable perspective that comes with experience to many areas, whether it is relating to the international players on our team or sharing what it means to be a Chicago Bull when talking to partners and fans. Toni will be a strong representative of both the team's legacy and its future."

Kukoc will be joining Scottie Pippen as a Special Advisor to the President. Pippen has been serving the role since Oct. 2012.


"It is a thrill and an honor to again be a part of the team that helped define my basketball career here in the United States and Chicago," said Kukoc. "The Bulls have become my extended family, and I am really looking forward to the future and being a Bull for life."

Kukoc , a veteran of the NBA for 13 seasons, played seven seasons with the Chicago Bulls. As a memeber of the Bulls, he was named the 1995-1996 NBC Sixth Man of the Year,  three NBA championships from 1996-1998. He earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors after the 93-94 season and in 92, he help led the Croatian Men's National Team to a silver media in the summer Olympics in Barcelona.

PAN star Joins Supergirl

In a press release, it was announced Monday from CBS that a star from the upcoming Peter Pan film "PAN" will make a guest appearance on Supergirl.

Levi Miller will be cast as Cat Grant's song, Carter.

The young Australian actor will be making his debut in the fourth episode, performing with Calista Flockhart, who plays Cat Grant, and Melissa Benoist.

Miller will be the 12 year old, of the high-power corporate tycoon, who finds himself in the shadows, often keeping his thoughts and feelings quiet. That until his mother asks her assistant Kara, aka Supergirl, to start babysitting him.

Over time, Carter will open up to Kara and disclosing his feeling on Supergirl.

Producers of the series are thrilled to work with Miller throughout the season.

"We love working with him so much on PAN, we were excited to bring him into Supergirl's universe," they said in a press release. "He's an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we all know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on Oct. 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart's American son."

New Series on FOX: Scream Queens

It's one of this Fall's buzzed about new show. From the minds the created "American Horror Story" and "Glee" comes a new series that puts comedy in horror. "Scream Queens" is the new series coming to FOX when a string of murders occurs on a college campus, there may have some connection to an incident that happen 20 years ago.

The series stars Emma Roberts (We're The Millers and American Horror Story: Freak Show), Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween), Lea Michelle (Glee), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Oliver Hudson (Nashville), Nick Jonas (The Jonas Brothers) and Ariana Grande (Victorious).

From what the trailer showed, it look like taking the elements of Halloween and Scream and putting it together as a comedy. The show looks interesting enough to tune in this fall or set the DVR to it.

The series premiere of Scream Queens is Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 9/8c on FOX.

Playing it Like it was You Last: Weekend Catch Up Pt 7

Mr. Robinson: "Ain't Nothin' but a Hound Dog"/"Love the One You're With"

This week's episodes of Mr. Robinson was simply hilarious that I couldn't get enough of and wanting even more.

In "Ain't Nothin' but a Hound Dog" has Craig dealing with his brother's uncleanliness and behavior in his apartment. So when he heard Jimmy was looking for a place to live, Craig took him on and enjoyed the nice of a clean apartment plus Jimmy bossing Ben around to do stuff. But all good things come to an end when Ben turns Jimmy into one of him and ruins Craig's apartment.

He had to get Jimmy out without breaking any rules. He goes to what Jimmy wrote in an ad for the things he doesn't like and Craig and Ben performed those in the apartment. But Jimmy saw it and told Craig that all he had to do was ask and he would have understood.

Meanwhile, Principal Taylor volunteer to dog sit her boss' dog. But when she takes the dog to his apartment the dog jumps out of the window and causing her to have everyone to help from teachers to kids. Eventually the dog was found thanks to Ashleigh and Samir, that the dog landed in the garbage truck and just in time delivers the dog back and got him clean too.

In "Love the One You're With" has Craig deciding whether if he's happy doing both jobs as a teacher and musician or that he should cut one of the out of his life. This is when he has been behind in paperwork. And when Victoria said that she has a friend that wants to see him perform, it kind of lends to a decision.

Craig decided that he was quitting teacher and that's when not only Victoria but his students put together a video to show how much they like him.  It was sweet and funny at times. Eventually, Craig did come back to do teaching and coming back having the kids perform the beat to "Uptown Funk."

I thought that both episodes were pretty hilarious. I like when Jimmy gave Ben the worries when he tells him that they were going to bunk together and to clean their rooms. Also I couldn't get enough of Principal Taylor at times, especially in the second episode where she was drunk from middle episode through.

Overall I give "You Ain't Nothin' but a Hound Dog" a 8/10 and "Love the One You're With" a 8.5/10

Suits: Mea Culpa"

After last week's blow out from Harvey on Lewis (for which I do think it's much deserved). Pick things up right after the fight were Lewis is feeling rage and upset.  Lewis goes to his voice and tells Donna to make a phone call.

Donna tries to calm him down but doesn't work.

After all of this mess, Harvey talked to his therapist about it and made a choice to talk to Lewis and open up. He did and well, let's just say it didn't go the way it did.

When Harvey came back for Mike's partnership vote, Lewis stabs Harvey in the back and ask for a vote to suspended Harvey.

Boy did that just set fuel to the fire. And Jessica wasn't to pleased at what Lewis has done. Later on, things did get settle but  I don't think for the long hull.

Meanwhile as Mike becomes the youngest partner int he firm's history, Jessica give his a case. Rachel helps Mike but when he takes a look at who the lawyer is, it's a blast from his past and he leaves it all on Rachel to do.

Rachel was put on a sticky situation and dealt with it with care and determination with the help from Mike.  Even though their secret was almost exposed about Mike not graduated from Harvard. Things were all good.

This episode was as I would say it good. I think the only thing that probably made any progress is Mike and Rachel's relationship. Seen Harvey and Lewis go on and on  and I don't get tired of it, it's my entertainment.

Overall, I give this episode a 6.5/10

Complication: "critical condition" season finale  

Holy crap!!

What a season finale (and let's hope it's not a series finale) that turn out to be.

Everything has lead to this and we finally get the answers to all.

John tries to figure things out after his wife tells him about her relationship with an old friend. Soon John decides to talk to the detectives about a deal or nothing.

Soon, Gretchen goes to check on the little boy but soon Detective Holden comes and brings a gun that was in evidence bag.  John rushes down and calls Daruis to tell him about the situation.

They race down and Gretchen tells John that the kid was in distress. John help the boy's airway and soon Holden comes through the door and shoots Daruis.

John talks to Holden and calms him down but nothing seems like things would be calming down at all. But John makes a quick move to his bag and shoots Holden. Holden is dead and also we learn that he was the guy who started the gang war.

John and Gretchen help settled the war and seems to be over. He gets his dad out of jail and return with his wife and kid to the log cabin.

Soon John and Gretchen back at work and soon he gets a call from a guy who's the owner of a cancer clinic that John destroyed a while ago. And demanded to meet him and after that we're left with a cliffhanger.

This was the best season finales, there was a lot of closer to stories and a lot of answers too. But there was that ender that I hope that there will be a season two because I think that with each season there's is a complication situation that John and Gretchen will get into.

Overall, I give this season finale a 9/10 and the entire season I give it 9/10.

Hannibal"...And the Beast from the Sea" 

Will Hannibal help Will and the FBI capturing the Tooth Fairy?

Will was so close to capturing the Tooth Fairy in last week's episode but escape. Now, looks like he wants to kill Will's family and asked Hannibal for help.

He goes to Will's house, where he poison the dogs and soon creeps in the house looking for them to kill them. Will has a smart wife with the way she keeps calm and get her son out of the house

After they escape from the Tooth Fairy, the guy look really upset. He failed to "change them" and eated himself for it as if the Red Dragon was kicking his ass.

I have to handle to Hannibal, he tries to help but deep down he really wants to mess with people from Will to Jack.

After he told the TF that they were being listen on the other line, Bloom decided to take away everything from Hannibal and that includes the toilet. Well, that probably won't bother him as all.

An upset Will talks to Lecter about the TF and his doing. We learn that he's not killing them but changing them.

This episode was pretty good. I can't get enough of the visual effects with the Red Dragon for one.

Overall, I give this episode a 7/10. It wasn't my favorite but it does carry the intense drama and story telling.

Jane the Virgin star joins Chicago Med

A new generation of doctors are coming to Chicago Med.

TVLine reported that Rachel DiPillo (Jane the Virgin) has been cast as a series-regular in the Chicago Fire spinoff as intern Dr. Sarah Reese.

Executive Producer  Andre Dettmann tells TVline, "Dr. Reese is fresh out of medical school and 'comes in with a lot of confidence because she's been straight-A, super-proficient, accomplished at everything. But everything has been book knowledge until know. She's hit that spot that first-year interns have to go through. Now they have real cases that they have to handle. She may e in a little over her head.'"

DiPillo is the latest addition to the series since the departure of Laurie Holden, who portrayed an ER surgeon in the backdoor pilot. Later this week, Torrey DeVitto (The Vampire Dairies) was added to the cast, as the pregnant ER pediatrician Dr. Lilly Manning.

Law & Order revival

If 24 done it, The X-Files is doing it, why not Law & Order too?

With reports that NBC is eyeing a limited Law & Order series that features the original cast members of the long-running franchise, creator Dick Wolf on Thursday gave a brief update.

"As you've heard, everybody wants to do it," Wolf told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. "Its is a question of...most of the people involved are very successful in their careers. To try to get everything in sequence is much more difficult than it looks on the outside. I a always an optimist. I would love to do it if we can make it work."

With previous reports, the limited series would likely be a 10 episode order, original stars that include Chris Noth and Sam Waterston, who have reportedly been approached.

I'm hope that sometime in a year or so that this could happen. I understand how the cast are busy with other projects. I would hope that Linus Roache and Alana de la Garza would come back as well.

"The Vampire Diaries" alum cast on Chicago Med

Deadline has reported that Chicago Med, the latest spinoff from Chicago Fire, has cast The Vampire Diaries alumni Torrey DeVitto as a series regular.

The news comes after Laurie Holden, who appeared in the backdoor pilot, departed the series this week due to family matters. But this is not a replacement.

Med is in process of casting three new female characters, one being played by DeVitto. The other characters are a young resident and a charge nurse.

Showrunner Andrew Dettman told TVLine at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, that DeVitto will be playing Dr. Lilly Manning, who is an ER pediatrician and is pregnant.

"When we meet her, she's very pregnant. She's just a really sweet, warm, midwest (woman who) planned it out, studied, worked hard, got everything to where she wanted- the husband and everything going the way it's supposed to be going," Dettman said. "But this is her first child, and it seems to me, at the end of the day, there's a little bit of denial (about) the fact that she's about to undergo an enormous change in her life."

DeVitto has had some other TV roles from The Vampire Diaries to One Tree Hill, Pretty Little Lairs to CSI.
