#OneChicago Chicago PD "Profiles"/ Chicago Fire "Hiding Not Seeking"

Image result for chicago pd profiles

Not only is Chicago PD celebrating its 100th episode, but also, why not make it big with a two-night #OneChicago crossover with Chicago Fire as well? Go big or don't go at all, and they sure went big for this crossover.

Chicago PD: "Profiles"

When PD and Fire are about to watch Platt talk on a morning news program, a bomb goes off in the middle of the interview. Platt seems to be okay and tries to save one of the journalists who's badly hurt by moving her to another room til Severide comes in and takes them to Cruz to lead them outside.

The Intelligence Unit dives in with a lead of a journalist leaving the building after dropping off a package. When they meet Uhim, he gets blown up from aAbomb'smailbox. Another lead led to a suspect who knows about IEDs. He is brought in, not involuntarily, and is kept in their custody until he's clear, even though he's getting killed on social media.

The suspect hunt leads the unit to a Chicago newspaper that fired a journalist, Sheppard, for wake news that the victims wrote Describing the suspect's house; he wasn't there, but Voight walks into the rooms where he sees photos and plans for his next move.

Upton soon gets a lead where someone has a connection with their suspect, and he points Voight and Antonio to ask for help from Boden and House 51. Boden thinks they will need Severide, but they need Brett and Gabby, who happens to have a connection with George. But Boden says no and leaves with a cliffhanger for Chicago Fire.

Chicago Fire: "Hiding Not Seeking"

Picking up where CPD left off, Voight and Dawsontrys tell teBoden that Gabby and Brett will have to do their thing while they sneak in and upload the guy's computer. Boden gives the okay and tells Voight that he wants to be there when it happens, which he agrees.

Gabby and Brett make their way to George's house and tell the guy that they're doing a health reassessment for all heart condition patients, which gets him to agree to let them in. While they take his pulse and ask him questions, Ruzek sneaks in and uploads the guy's computer. But when George gets a visit from someone, Brett and Dawson get out in time along with Ruzek.

Both Ruzek, Dawson, and Brett get out safe. Soon after,r House 51 gets a call of an explosion, where Severide and Boden meet with the knight riding Halstead coming in on a motorcycle. Severide shows Halstead the piece that blew up and got Voight on call.

Later, Boden and Severide know where the suspect might be hitting his places. Their lead lends them to a house where they find Sheppard's supplies and bombs. They searched all over his place and computers, and as soon as a new message was intercepted by Burgess and Upton, the CPD and CFD headed to what they thought was the newspaper building, but the place was the translation station.

Casey and Severide's team get there and try to get everyone out safely and find Sheppard. Soon, they spot him, and along with Voght, Halstead, and Boden, they rush to Sheppard and stop him from killing the editor of the Chicago newspaper that fired him.

Things went pretty smoothly; everyone celebrated at Molly's, and not to mention that Brett and Antonio got the spark again and made out in the car. Also, Kidd and her boyfriend ended their relationship as she didn't want to meet his sister. But I also couldn't stop talking about Severide as well.

This crossover event was fantastic and had everything you would want in a crossover. This was probably one of the best since "A Dark Day" and "8:30 PM," not to mention "Three Bells" and "A Little Devil Complex." I couldn't get enough of the Voight and Boden scenes, which you don't get to see a whole lot. Not to mention, Jay Halstead riding a motorcycle was awesome!!! The writing and the performance of the cast were terrific. It felt like a movie event, not to mention a bit of tribute to Chicago for the milestone episode for CPD. Overall, I give this crossover event a 9/10.

You can catch Chicago PD on Wednesdays at 10/9c and Chicago Fire on Thursdays at ten/9c on NBC.

Admit and Be Amazed: Superstore "Amnesty"/"Target"

Image result for superstore "Amnesty"

"Amnesty"

After everyone saw the videotape of Amy and Jonah kissing, the two tried to dispel all the rumors about them, but they worsened things. When they pretend to be in love with one another in front of their coworkers, they accidentally kiss. Kelly, who finds out, gets annoyed about it after it doesn't bother her, but to prove that he isn't in love with Amy, Jonah suggests that he move in with her.

Meanwhile, after Amy and Jonah's video, Glenn and Dina offer amnesty to all the employees to confess any that might have done bad things.  But they didn't expect the entire staff at Cloud 9 to come forward, leaving the store unattended. But it allows Garrett and Cheyenne to take advantage of the subject matter.

When Mateo hears of an offer, it worries him about his undocumented status, and he tries to get a hold of Jeff to see if he has told anyone. After trying to get a hold of him, Jeff shows up and tells Mateo that he has quit his job.

"Amnesty" was another hit episode with excellent writing and character development. From watching Dina and Glenn try to get their coworkers to talk, Mateo trying to get a hold of Jeff or Amy, and Jonah trying to play towards their coworker's jokes and games about their relationship, it was brilliant. The one scene in which I was amazed was when Jonah learned that Amy had a crush on him and didn't even know about it. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Image result for superstore season 3 "Target"

"Target"

After announcing his leaving at Cloud 9, the staff throws a goodbye party for Jeff and learns he is leaving to be a manager at Target. Garret asks Glenn, who's mad about Jeff going to Target, for a raise but gets him to believe Jeff had poached him to come to Target. Glenn confronts Jeff, who has no clue, and the two battle it on who can be poached to join their stores. As Glenn and Garrett try to poach the employees from Target, they spot Cheyenne, who tells them that she works part-time at both stores.

Meanwhile, Dina helps get Amy out on the dating scene on a double date. But when it wasn't working out, probably because he was 20-30 years older than her, she made friends with the Cloud 9 beverage delivery man, who was making a drop-off at the restaurant. Soon, they pretty much clicked when he came back to Cloud 9 and asked Amy out.

Also, Kelly and Jonah discuss moving in together and trying to lay out their furniture arrangement at the store. Jeff admits to Mateo that he doesn't work at Target but doesn't want his former Cloud 9 co-workers to know he is unemployed.

"Target" was excellent and hilarious. Take it what you will; even if they try to advertise for Target or not, it did get me to go to the store the next day. I loved the poaching story when  Glenn and Garrett go to Target and find that it's a much better store—even learning about Cheyenne working there. But also, Amy's date, I would say, got better when meeting with that Cloud 9 delivery man, and maybe they could heat things with Jonah, who sees the two at the store. The writing was good, and so was the performance of the cast. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Superstore on Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC.

Expect the Unexpected: Chicago Med "Best Laid Plans"

Image result for Chicago Med Best Laid Plans
From start to finish, this week's episode of Chicago Med will leave you on the edge of your seat for the ride of your life.

Whether it's the drama moments of Rhodes and Bekker fighting over who gets the donor's heart: a man receiving transplants for the third time or a family man who's up for his first one, meanwhile, Manning takes on a patient who is taken care by his mother and has a dirty trach tube, and learns that his mother has been trying to let him go. But when Manning tells Halstead about it, he overreacts and gets the police involved. That led to a heated argument between Natalie and Will that will leave #Manstead fans shaking.

Charles learns from Reese that her dad asked her to be his cosigner on an apartment and help care for him. But when Charles meets with her dad again, he confronts him about his condition and that he'll let the transplant board know he's not fit for a new heart due to his mental disorder. The tables turned when Reese went after Charles for what she had said to her father, which was a lie. But it did give Reese to think, and she decided to say no to her father.

The surprise moments come when April and Noah treat an older woman with back pain, upset stomach, etc. As things began to worsen with every treatment, it turned out that the 55-year-old woman was pregnant and gave birth to a girl.

Choi treated a patient who was found in the waiting room and couldn't find anything wrong with her through all the tests. But when given an MRI, it showed a stroke that's from her broken jaw that she got repaired years ago.

"Best Laid Plans" was one of the best-hour episodes of Chicago Med so far with the cases that the characters took and the push to the limits they are head into, not to mention surprises as well. From the beginning to the end, the episode never stopped being less attractive as it kept you on the edge of your seats. Besides the drama, there were moments like Choi bringing his sister to April's cousin's party, where they all would have a good time dancing the night away.

The writing was excellent and well-developed, and the characters were as well. The performances from the cast were so good, where it's Donnell, Kuhling, Gehlfuss, DeVitto or DiPillo and Platt. I don't know where Rhodes and Bekker will go as they don't have anything to lose, but Manning and Halstead, with their first big argument, could lead down to something, even after last week's episode for Halstead. Reese's father would be the most problematic for me as the character creeps me out and makes me worry that something will go wrong with someone. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Chicago Med Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.

Childish Party: Kevin Can Wait "Delivery Guy"/"Forty Seven Candles"

Image result for Kevin Can Wait "Delivery Guy"

"Delivery Guy"

When Kevin gets a surprise visit from a young man that he helped deliver back when he was a cop, it give him the idea of how much a hero. But when Vanessa learns that their client has left them for their rival, they use Kevin's story on television to help brand their company. But the idea fell apart as it wasn't much of a story for the TV hosts and the kid didn't go into all the detail like he did earlier in the episode. With the segment going wrong, Kevin's rival company comes in and gives their story of how they saved a young girl, who needed a kidney.

"Deliver Man" was an okay episode that just having you laughing a bit but as soon as the episode is over you'll forget what happened. It wasn't the best and it wasn't as good as the previous episode before this one. Overall, I give this episode a 5/10.

"Forty Seven Candles"

When someone says "no surprise birthday party" even though they don't mean it, it means throw a party.

When it's Vanessa's birthday coming up and she tells Kevin and the gang that she doesn't want a surprise birthday party, to Kevin that means she wants one and tries to pull off a good one. But when Vanessa decides to have her own party, Kevin gets all of her friends to turn her down so they could be at his party.

When Vanessa's birthday arrived, Kevin's plan didn't go as well (even though it was his plan) to take her out to dinner but instead tells her about a party. There she is surprised of the many friends and family that came and just when you think it was over, it's not as Kevin becomes Prince and does a cool to creepy duet with Vanessa of Purple Rain.

"Forty Seven Candles" was 10 times as better as the previous episode and had so much fun and humor to it. The Vanessa and Kyle bar scene was a moment of maybe but maybe not as it looked like she was coming on to him. I couldn't get how freaked out I was seeing Kevin as Prince but also couldn't stop laughing at the same time. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.

Dating with Food: Kevin Can Wait "Wingman"/"The Whole Enchilada"

Image result for Kevin Can Wait Wingman

"Wingman"

With Kyle bragging about using a new dating app, it sparks Vanessa and Kevin to use it as well to find their perfect match.

When Vanessa and Kevin learn of a new dating app "Be My Wingman" that Kyle has been using, and agree to help each other out finding someone that's perfect for one another. But at first they weren't into the app and tried being each other wingman at the bar, but that failed after meeting weird people. So they turn to Kyle for help using the app and soon they find someone for each other.

When Kevin and Vanessa double date with their perfect match, it goes well for Kevin but not well for Vanessa as Kevin chosen a guy that's quite like Kevin. When Vanessa tells Kevin that she doesn't like him, he tries to change his look and makes him look a lot better and gives Vanessa to go for a second chance date. But when things turn to be so good, both Vanessa and Kevin's dates leaves them and goes out with one another.

"Wingman" was a good average episode that had some funny moments. Even if they aren't trying to get Vanessa and Kevin to grow more in their relationship, they still put them in situations like this episode that makes you think that they could be the perfect match for one another. Overall, I give this episode a 7/10.

"The Whole Enchilada"

Maybe the proof is in the food, unless Kevin can see it or not.

When it comes to reading signs, Kevin isn't the smartest in the department when his neighbor Wendy comes by with food, enchilada, that's one of the best. But when Wendy ask where this relationship is going, even though there wasn't, Kevin tries to explain but agrees to go out with her to the movies.

Kevin tells Vanessa about it and she thinks he needs to dump her but when tasting Wendy's enchilada, she agrees that Kevin is screwed. But when she helps him to dump Wendy and cook for him, it's not the same and Kevin goes through depression and tries to win Wendy back, for which he did.

"The Whole Enchilada" was a way better episode than the previous one that brings the classic elements to this show: Kevin, food and relationships. It may not be the smartest episode but it was sure the funniest with James, Spreitler, Remini and Florencia Lozano as Wendy. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch Kevin Can Wait Mondays at 8/7c on CBS.

A Night with Stars: Timeless "Hollywoodland"

Image result for Timeless hollywoodland

With the moment that we all been waiting for comes with a twist at the end that maybe no one could see coming.

With no Emma in this episode, the Time Team tracks the Mothership to the 1941 where Rittenhouse tries to steal the work-print of the movie Citizen Kane and trying to sell it to William Randolph Hearst (who's the film is based on). Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus bumps into Hedy Lamarr, who doesn't taken as a fool and figures out that they aren't really who they are, but helps the team search for the man, who's taken the secret films.

In the meantime, Jiya, gets examined for her condition that Agent Christopher has only found out and comes to the concussion that she's fine and even better that her heart murmur is fixed. Which kind of leads to Mason dealing with something new then what they had dealt in the past. Lucy and Christopher tries to get Flynn to help again, but if they want him to help he needs to get out before Rittenhouse kills him in prison. After given a tip, Christoper helps him with a breakout that Time Team sets up in his own prison cell 50 years later.

But with the hunt for the secret films, Wyatt and Lucy share the moment that we've all been waiting for as they kiss and slept together. The two seem to be the item now in the relationship, but a twist comes at the end of the episode that really would take the fans in shock as Wyatt escapes the compound to see someone at a local tavern, where he walks up to Jessica, his wife who's alive and well.

"Hollywoodland" was an action-less episode that still delivered a story that it worthy of watching that had a lot of fun, educational and dramatic moments. From learning of what Lamarr did for WiFi and to even what Citizen Kane as about (check that film out!). There were many memorable moments from Lucy singing in front of a crowd while looking at Wyatt to Lamarr and Rufus discussing her scientific ideas foe the future. I'd very much enjoyed this episode. The performances from the cast from Spencer, Lanter, Goran and even Claudia Doumit as Jiya.

Does anyone think that the kiss from Wyatt and Lucy might have changed history to make Jessica like she had never died? With Jiya's seizures not seem to be life threatening now, would that make it to help them in advice against Rittenhouse? And how crazy would it have been if Jurassic Park was made back in the 1940's?

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Timeless returning in two weeks from Sunday at 10/9c on NBC.

Driving and Finishing: Timeless "The Darlington 500"

Image result for timeless the darlington 500

Nothing like driving in the fast line back in the 1950's to get your blood pumping right?

This week's episode takes our #TimeTeam to Sept. 4, 1955 where the Mothership is Darlington, South Carolina, thanks to Flynn's tip-off about a Rittenhouse-affiliated address. That's where they make the discover that Rittenhouse is after a NASCAR race driver Ryan Millerson, who is to race at the Darlington 500.

But at the track, they realize that Millerson is one of the sleeper agents for Rittenhouse and just before getting into trouble again with Emma, black race car driver Wendell Scott saves them from being killed. The team finds a bomb in Millerson's car and learn that it's intended to murder the automotive executives that are attendance, so that Rittenhouse could take over the auto industry.

But when they get Wendell to sneak them back into the track to stop Rittenhouse, Wyatt kills Millerson, not before the bomb is armed and drives the car with cops on their tails back to Wendell's garage. With the cops passing by, Rufus defuses the bomb.

Meanwhile, back in the present, Mason makes a bold move of making a public appearance that's against Agent Christopher's orders. She comes in just before he goes on and makes a sense of his arrest and takes him back to the compound. Along with that Jiya as been seen visions of what the future may be looking as she saw Rufus's arm looking burned, but when he gets back from 1955 his arm was burned.  But Keynes reveals his vision to make a perfect humanity by cutting away the flaws.

"The Darlington 500" was an amazing storytelling episode of not only what NASCAR was back in the day but what it's like for a fan, like Wyatt. You really see Wyatt's character light up with excitement as a fan would when meeting their heroes. I couldn't get enough o Wendell Scott in this episode but also learning about him as well.  It still give that thrill and intense with the car chase, the surprises of Millerson being a sleeper agent and what's to come next that really give this show something to look forward. The writing was good and the performance was strong. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Timeless Sundays at 10/9c on NBC.

The Shot of Life's Advice: Chicago Fire "The F is For"

Image result for Chicago Fire The F Is For

After a month off and leaving with us with a thrilling cliffhanger, Chicago Fire is back will Severide and Casey make it? Here's a recap!

Picking up where we left off, Casey and Severide jumping off the roof of a building from high pressure explosion, we see them landing in the river and the rest of the 51 team move to the back to find them. With Casey awake and rescue, Severide was knocked out and floating down stream but Kidd and the team makes the rescue and after a few seconds of trying to wake him up, he finally comes too.

After the dramatic rescue, the CFD were just eating up the publicity that the House 51 team has gotten with the shots from the photographer, who happened to be there to capture it all. The CFD wants the newspaper, Sun-Times, to do a day in the life at the firehouse thing and brings in the same guy. Things go well but after a run from Brett and Dawson, who happens to be a mess from the call decides to take a shower, the photographer gets caught by Casey of trying to take photos of Dawson in the shower.

It doesn't quite end, when Casey and Dawson get a call of a car accident and the photographer is still there. Well, let's just say payback was coming for him and it did when a car hits him.

Meanwhile, Herrmann gets into the life coach game and gets it over his head that life is like a fire that you can move ahead head on or run away from it. Maybe it would be all the best if he keeps his advice to when they count the most instead of cashing it in. Brett has been getting emails from Holly and when she doesn't responded to them, Holly is trashing her on Facebook. But after helping one of their homeless friends get his home back, Brett gets the urge to respond to Holly's emails.

Kidd and Severide's relationship has been slowly building in a way that you would think that one of them would speak about, but no. Kidd begins to search for a new apartment, but when she starts talking about Severide during her dinner date with her boyfriend, but it ends with Severide coming over to Casey and Dawson to watch the Blackhawks game. Not to mention looking at what they have and probably thinking that he wants that with Kidd.

"The F is For" is a very good episode that had so many good character developed from Brett finding her anger after helping the homeless man and using it towards Holly to Kidd and Severide's relationship as one is to end the other is thinking of thinking of having a relationship. The writing was good along with the cast performance too. The humor was always there with Herrmann in this story with his life coach advice making fire the inspiration for life, if that was so I would be running away for the rest of my life. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch Chicago Fire Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC.

To Sell or Not: A.P. Bio "Selling Out"

Image result for A.P. Bio Selling Out

As Jack's book is done, will it get the attention from book companies or will he have to change his whole idea?

Just as Jack is done with his book about death, he gets a call from Miles and offered to ship his book idea to his publishers. But when Jack gets letters from the publishers, they don't like it and makes a call to Miles to plea his case but when Miles says that they liked his idea for a book about feel-good philosophy and the money Jack was in.

As Jack comes with ideas that would make people feel good, he gets his inspiration from Helen and gets her to tell all of her wise advise from "If you can come out of the womb, you can get out of anything" to "high fives and low fives are better than no fives" and "if you step on a berry, you just made jam." But when his students take a look at it they feel that Jack is a sell out to what he believes.

As Jack gives his idea to the publishers, things don't go that well and tells them that his first book idea was better than the feel good junk. So no book deal at all but the students read his first book and gave well reviews to him and started discussing about the book.

Meanwhile, Principle Durbin accidentally gets caught into a firestorm when confronting about who is Mary's Emergency Contact is and it gets heated for Stef and Mary.

"Selling Out" was a good episode from Jack's book story but the emergency contact was good but it wasn't as strong. The performance from Paula Pell was outstanding in this episode as Helen. Not to mention Glenn Howerton's performance as well and the development of the character was good. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

You can catch A.P. Bio Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Stand By Their Partners Chicago PD "Ghosts"

Image result for chicago pd ghosts

When a drug deal goes wrong, a blast from the past comes to one of the Intelligence Unit member.

When a drug deal goes wrong, Upton sees someone that she had worked with before, who happens to be working with one of the biggest case before joining the Unit. She decides to take on and bring her undercover character, Kelly, back from hiding and try to make a deal with the top drug boss, Booth, but it gets pretty intense when Booth questions her and Halstead to make sure they aren't lying.

We learn the reason why she left the case when Halstead confronts her about it with photos of her beat up from Booth. She wants to take him down no matter if Voight told them to shut it down or not and does and goes on with the plan. As the plan comes together, Booth takes advantage on Upton in front of Halstead but things get dicey when Booth's nephew sees Halstead about to grab something. Upton breaks away from Booth and chases after him. As Booth takes her to town, she finally gets the chances to beat the crap out of him and almost killing him, but Halstead stops her just in time.

With the the Unit at Molly's to celebrate, Upton stays home and gets a visit from Halstead, who is there for her in a time of need. She tells Halstead that her partner that Booth killed was someone she was very, very close with and the two drink their sorrows.

"Ghosts" was such a strong, intense, thrilling and such well developed character for Hailey Upton. This was Tracy Spiridakos best performance since joining the show as it gave such an emotional and intense background story of her past. Not to mention Jesse Lee Soffer was amazing in this episode too. This was definitely the perfect #Upstead episode. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

CPD will be off for the next couple of weeks.

You can catch Chicago PD Wednedays at 10/9c.

Unforgettable: Chicago Med "Born This Way"

Image result for Chicago Med born this way

This week's episode of Chicago Med was indeed an unforgettable one.

Let's face it: we don't know where this relationship between Rhodes and Bekker is going, and quite frankly, I would like to see where this is going. There might be something there, some spark ever since then they've been working together. After their one night, their relationship takes a test when one of Rhodes' patients comes in in need of a lung transplant. Bekker questions Rhodes about his decisions for the patient, but things get worse with each step he takes. But that all changes when Bekker and Rhodes ask the ECMO and find out that there is a clot in the machine and soon takes him to the OR for his lung transplant. But their relationship takes a bit of a turn when Bekker breaks it off with him.

After pulling a night shift, Ethan and Natalie go beyond the work in the hospital to help treat a pregnant homeless teen who's in labor and running a fever. But when the teen doesn't want to go to the ER because DCFS will put her back into the system, Ethan takes the chance and helps deliver the baby outside in the cold. As the delivery takes a drastic turn, the baby is born safe, but the teen, who still doesn't want to go to Med, makes the hardest decision to give her baby up.

Dr. Charles, who's been in between the latest reunion of Sarah and her father, sees that Sarah's father might be pulling something over her with his health condition. Looking at his brain scan and getting a second opinion from Nero, it seems that Sarah's father has a bit of a psychopathic mind. He confronts him in a session and asks him to tell Sarah the truth about his health and what he wants her to do to help. But when he does, it seems that Sarah's dad only told her half of the truth, which puts Charles in a tight position.

Halstead and April treat a curable cancer patient; if caught early, he could beat it. But in this case, the patient doesn't want anything to do with treatment and wants to die because he's a pedophile. With April not wanting to help the guy, Halstead tries his best to help him, even if it's not what the patient wants. With no hold from Reese, the patient's health takes a turn for the worse, and Halstead, who tries to convince the man to let him help, follows his wishes and holds his hand til the end.

When the hospital is in a lawsuit from a patient who says that the EMT passed him because he had no insurance, he claims it was Maggie's idea. When Goodwin confronts her, they pull the EMT, who made the statement that it was Maggie's idea, and when they face him, it all makes sense with the pizza room situation. The pizza room is for the EMT to bring in the better patients with the best insurance so the hospital can get paid. Goodwin decides to shut it down, but the hospital board won't accept it as it costs too much money.

"Born This Way" was an excellent one-hour episode with good writing and character development. The performance from the cast was terrific, including Gehifuss, Brian Tee, Donnell, and Norma Kuhling, who might have an excellent breakout performance as her character opens up to help the parents of a boy in need of a lung transplant help with guidance. I don't know about you, but I want to see where this Rhodes/Bekker thing is going, even if she breaks off with him at the end. What would be the nickname for these two? I thought that the Halstead story was chilling and so brilliantly written. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Chicago Med Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.

The Gang is Back! Timeless "The War to End Al Wars" Season Premiere

Image result for timeless "The War to End All Wars"

It's the season premiere that we've all been waiting! Timeless is back and premiere doesn't disappoint let don't let off on the gas.

When we jump into season 2, Mason Industries has been bombed almost leaving Wyatt and Rufus in the time machine in danger, but they do survive thanks to Agent Christopher, who relocates them to an abandoned military compound. Wyatt wants to look for Lucy, thinking that she's alive while Christopher doesn't want him to get his hopes too high. But Lucy is alive and with her mother, who we learned in the season finale that she's with Rittenhouse.

After the bombing, we jump six weeks later finding Lucy with Carol and Emma traveling to the Battle of Saint-Miihel, France in 1918 to find an injured solider, Nicholas Keynes and bring him back to 2018. But Emma puts Lucy in a tight position when she wants her to murder Keynes' squad-mate, who's was asking way too many questions seeing things being done.

While repairing the Lifeboat, Wyatt and Rufus find where the Mothership and get there to rescue Lucy and when they get there, they find that she's trying to sabotaged Carol's mission. But in the meantime, Wyatt and Rufus comes in between a member of Rittenhouse and after kicking some butt, find a copy of Keynes's 1910 Rittenhouse time travel manifesto from a modem Rittenhouse agent that's fully integrated into the past.

While in the present, Mason, who feels useless, tries to develop an algorithm to track the Mothership's movement and Jiya's illness continues to get worsen.

To help save Keynes, Lucy gets Marie Curie and Irene Joliot-Curie, who using a "petite Curie" radiography unit (an x ray). But when they left and discover the Mothership, Emma threatens to kill them. Lucy stops her and comes in between them, but Emma would kill all three if Wyatt and Rufus didn't get there in time but with an exchange. With the Curies fleeing, Emma, Carol and Keynes left while Lucy, Wyatt and Rufus are back together and get back to 2018.

Back in the present, looking at the manifesto, Wyatt thinks that Rittenhouse had placed sleeper agents throughout history thinking that Emma, for example, was placed there not by accident but to get things moving. Meanwhile, Carol wakes up Keynes, who we learn is her grandfather. And in order to get help, Christoper goes to the one person who knows what Rittenhouse will do next, Flynn. But he will only talk to Lucy about all of this mess.

The season premiere opened up like a fright train that was't going to stop for one second. The episode really sets the series in an amazing direction for these characters and some mind blowing moments, with Keynes being the great grandfather of Lucy. But the moments for me have to be watching Lucy reunite with Wyatt and Rufus for the firs time since leaving with her mother and the almost kiss moment between her and Wyatt was nothing but intense moment. Just like last season, I'm all in for this season with where this show will be going. Good character development and the writing was good as well. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Timeless Sundays at 10/9c on NBC.

Coming Clean and Moving On: Champions "I Think I'm Gonna Tolerate it Here"

Image result for Champions "I Think I'm Gonna Tolerate it Here"

Just like they say when you keep a secret, it's always about to come out sooner than later.

As Vince tries to figure out how to fix the mess he made of selling the gym without having everyone that works there know about it. He learns that he and Matthew has to pay a fine of up with $5,000 to regain the gym. But when Michael, who's been staying in their apartment too long, steps out and sees Brittney along with the other gym workers. Soon the flood gates break as the coworkers of the gym learn about Michael and that the gym being sold as well.

While dealing with the gym, Vince figures out that Michael was raised spoiled with his unclean habits and such. After getting eaten by the couch, Matthew gives up Vince's king size bed to Michael, while Vince and Matthew sleep in the other bed, together. It draws tension between them and Matthew decides to move out staying with Ruby.  But after a morning with Michael,Vince comes to terms and not only brings Matthew back home but gets the group together and apologies to all and gets an idea for how they can get the money to pay the fine....from Matthew and Vince's childhood hoops shooting machine. For which opens up for Michael to have his own bedroom.

"I Think I'm Gonna Tolerate it Here" is another brilliant half hour comedy of humor and heart. From the great writing, strong character development, the performance from the cast members was just amazing, mostly Fortune Feimster as Ruby shines in this episode. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Champions Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.

Back Shamming and Father Issues: A.P. Bio "Freakin' Enamored"

Image result for ap bio freakin enamored

From back shamming of an art piece that leads to protest to a teacher trying to hook up with his student's mother. Here's a look at this week's A.P. Bio.

After failing to get a date in the town and finding out that his enemy is dating Lisa Loeb, Jack asked his students for a plan but gets a surprise when he sees that his students have brought their parents for Parent Day. After calming them down and telling how everyone of their kids is getting an A and given some much feed back, Devin's mother comes in late and gets Jack's attention from start. Quickly, Jack and Devin's mother hit it off quick and comes over for dinner at her place.

Just as when the dinner was going good, Devin shows up and ruins it for Jack. The next day, Jack takes back Devin's A and turns it into an F and gets the class discussing about dating Devin's mother. After doing pros and cons, Jack decides to date Devin's mother and help him build a rocket. But the truth comes out when Devin's hopes of his real dad would come over and Jack blurs out about what he wanted to do with his mother and both of them tell him to "get!"

Meanwhile, during the Parents Day, parents had concern about Mary's bareback sketch showing in school and Principle Ralph took it down. That caused the teachers and students to fight for bare back rights and all art. It goes so far that the students were hitting off a Ralph look a like pinata. Ralph did change his mind and gets quite openly about Mary's art, but she took it away from him.

The next day, Jack learns that he and Devin aren't that different when it comes to their dads, as both of them hate them, while the others in their class love theirs. Jack decides to help him out again with the father-son rocket but this time they would shoot a golf ball at their rockets but instead lands on one of the kids and they both ran before anyone would see.

"Freakin' Enamored" was a very well written that had some well developed characters. The performances from Howerton, Oswalt, Jacob McCarthy, Arm and Mary Sohn were amazing and hilarious. Not to mention Lisa Loeb and Erin Hayes' guest appearance on the show as Miles' new girlfriend and Devin's mother.I couldn't get enough of the Parents Day one on one meeting with Jack, which was amazing especially watching Heather and her parents and Sarika and her mother.  Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch A.P. Bio Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Still the Best Show on TV: Superstore Season 3 (Episodes 8-14)

Image result for Superstore "Viral Video"

If you're not watching Superstore Thursday nights on NBC, you're missing out on a lot of fun and smart comedy. Here's a catch up of the season so far (mainly episodes 8-14).

Amy has been trying to live in the moment and prove that her post-divorce isn't dragging her down. She tries to prove that it's easy to make a viral video which didn't help Cloud 9 with he many rats that could be seen in one video. Even trying to throw a Golden Globes party but it didn't go well and had to enlist both Dina and Jonah's help when her barbecue doesn't go well.

In the meantime, Glenn and his wife decide to have a baby of their own, but later learn that she can't conceive. So they look for a surrogate and when Glenn discuses with Cheyenne about it, she offered to do it. That changed when Glenn realized that she really was doing it out of kindness but not the right reasons. But in the end Dina agrees to be Glenn's surrogate.

Also, Mateo, who's been dealing with his undocumented status throughout the season, faces his biggest challenge yet when Jeff offers him money in exchange for not suing the store. While things with Cheyenne and her mother have been rocky, they grow closer with the help from Amy.

Kelly and Jonah have been quite the item during this part of the season, making Amy a bit jealous over their relationship. But it turns out that Amy and Jonah's relationship has been growing under the radar for their coworkers and to them as well as Jonah helps Amy secure a copy of a video game that she enjoyed. But when Dina sees what's going between them and keeps it a secret but that secret is out when Dina tries to show a video of the security camera that caught the two at the end of season 2 kissing.

Season 3 of Superstore has been a home run so far with great ensemble cast performance and the  writing has never been stronger than before. America Ferrera has been amazing this season with her performance as Amy and not to mention got to directed "Video Game Release" was really good. So far he Jonah and Amy relationship has been boiling over to this point and I can't wait to see after last week's episode will take in tonight's new episode. Overall, I give the show so far a 9/10.

You can catch Superstore Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC.

Be Prepared: The Blacklist "Pattie Sue Edwards (No. 68)"

Image result for the blacklist pattie sue edwards

A deadly outbreak is spreading in a way that's uncommon, while Liz and the FBI team up with Singleton to find Tom's killer. The ending of this episode will leave you in a thrilling state of mind.

The FBI is dealing with a mass outbreak biochemical weapon, but what they figure out about this Blacklister is that she is out for information and revenge for the death of her husband. Pattie goes after one of the men who had her husband killed and get him to confess about it by threatening him with the deadly virus. But at one point, her plan fails and the two have to travel together to get the antidote, but Ressler and Samar are standing in their way.

After understanding Pattie's actions, Ressler comes close to them and try getting the guy to confess on his wrong doings. Soon after he confesses, they are taken in and treated.

Meanwhile, Red must deal getting audit and tries to get the auditor to turn around and walk away, even helped the guy's son get into the school of his dream. But that all turned away when another auditor comes and when you think that things were going to burn for Red's business, it goes the complete opposite. The auditor comes the next day and tells Red that they'll have to wait due to their office burning down.

As for Liz, who teams up with Singleton to find one of the men that help kill Tom. Singleton gives some information on the syndicate and helps Liz spy on one of the men, but things get complicated and Liz turns to Aram for help to trace the call that the man was on with that turned out to be someone from Singleton's office. Liz calls Singleton to tel him about it and that she was calling them. Singleton locates the phone in Ian Garvey's desk and soon Liz gets a notified about a dead body that turns up to be Singleton.

I thought that this episode was another good one from start to finish. The case of the week was another good one with a deadly virus and a very understanding purpose for the character to do so. I thought the Red situation with the Auditor was suppose to go the other way with Red burning down his business instead of burning down the auditor's office and not to mention Singleton, who I thought was another bad guy, turns out to get killed from Garvey after the trace to his phone from Liz. The Liz story arc as been nothing but amazing with piece by piece of thrilling moments and unbelievable twist. We're coming to where Liz and Garvey might be head on facing one another, but I think Red will be the one in between trying to make a deal, mostly with Garvey. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch The Blacklist Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.

Take a Deep Breathe: This Is Us "The Wedding" Season Finale

Image result for this is us the wedding

The season finale of This Is Us, left us grabbing tissues and not to mention some surprises into what happens in the next season.

It's Kate and Toby's wedding and things were looking up til Kate was missing her something old: her dad's old Dayton shirt. With Kevin and Randall handing the wedding stuff, they look for something old that belongs to Jack. But Kate goes on herself a journey not only to find something that connected her with her dad, from the ice cream shop to the stump in the woods where they talked. This going while she talked to Rebecca about these dreams (flashbacks) of the wedding but it was Rebecca and Jack's renewing their vows with everyone there, except for Toby. What could that mean? That Toby isn't the one? He won't live as long as Jack?

In the meantime, Randall and Beth try to handle with the Deja situation as she's showing no interest of going to the wedding. As Beth reconnects with her cousin, her cousin talked with Deja of her experience with her mother leaving her. Thing were going good until Toby's mother makes a comment that she looked like Randall and after that it was Deja pulling a scene from Beyonce's Lemonade video.

With where this season took these characters, it felt that they've come to acceptance of their father's death and who they are as Kevin and Randall making a great toast to Kate and Toby. But as the episode comes to an end, we see flash forward of Randall with Tess asking if she's ready to see her (who? Beth? Deja?), Kate walking into the bedroom of Toby, who doesn't look too good, in bed, and Kevin on a plane looking at a photo of his dad and uncle from Vietnam along with Beth's cousin.

I'd very much enjoyed this episode like every other episode this season. This seemed like a bit of that cherry on top with the stomach for wanting more when finished. I thought the writing was strong and the performances from the cast was amazing. I think that this was Chrissy Metz's best episode performance. Not to mention Chris Sullivan, who's scene with Toby's parents was so good as he stand up to Kate after they didn't think she was the right person for him. I literally couldn't get enough of Kevin and Randall's scenes in this episode from trying to find something old for Kate to trying to find Kate. Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10 also the season a 10/10.

You can catch This Is Us streaming on the NBC app and Hulu. And catch Season 3 this fall on NBC.

The Show to Watch: Champions "Pilot" Series Premiere

Image result for nbc champions

The latest NBC comedy series, Champions premiered last Thursday and it's with all strides as the best new comedy of the season.

Created by Charlie Grandy and Mandy Kaling, the pilot opens up as Vince, a gym owner in Brooklyn, NY along with his brother, Matthew, is about to give up his life for a new one in Florida. But when Priya, an ex high school girlfriend, comes by with a surprise that he has a 15 year old son, Michael, who needs to find a place to stay during the audition process at the Academy of Arts.

After taking him in, things don't go that well when Michael feels that Vince doesn't want him around and that he spilled the beans about selling the gym in front of his brother. Vince comes to terms, finds Michael and gives him the courage at his audition, even though he was a half hour late. When the Academy accepts Michael and tells Vince that there's a place for Michael to stay, he tells them that Michael will be staying with him, but will keep the address in mind for later.

I'm in love with Champions. It's one of the best new shows on the season. The pilot was well written and perfectly told of about these characters of who they are, what their conflict is and their triumph of over coming with inspiration and humor. The cast is amazing from Anders Holm and Andy Favreau, Fortune Feimster and Mindy Kaling, but it's J.J. Totah who shines as the star of the show. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Champions Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.

Life In Pieces "Parents Ancestry Coupon Chaperone"

Image result for life in pieces "parents ancestry coupon chaperone"

From trying to keep calm for their parents to learning that coupons aren't great as gifts to that, DNA testing sucks. Life in Pieces makes another good episode this week.

There were a lot of hits and only a miss in this week's discussion episode of Life in Pieces. Jen's Parents visiting for a while gets Jen and Greg to tag team so none of them would go wild. But it turns out that the tag caused them to stay a while longer because they think that their marriage is in jeopardy.

While learning about a family story, Joan and Sophie do a family DNA testing. They know that the family member that Joan considers to have the most incredible love story ever told happens to be a sham when a great uncle married her niece when she was a baby, who happens to be the person she was talking about, which was probably one of the funniest stories in the episode.

Matt gives Colleen her birthday gift of coupons for what he could do to help her. But instead of complaining about them, she puts them to good use and gives Matt the total runaround of chores. The episode ends with Matt learning that coupons are the worst birthday gift, and Colleen gives Joan her coupon for Matt to do the dishes in a French maid outfit.

The last story might have been missed in this episode, but it was still funny. At Sam's poem night at school, Tim and Heather try to give her space while Heather reunites with a high school crush who's playing. Tim gets jealous, Heather is upset, and the two act like total teens and seek advice from Sam and her date. But Tim makes her move and wins her over, and dances the night away very awkwardly.

"Parents Ancestry Coupon Chaperone" was another well-written and well-performed, mostly Dianne Wiest, whose Joan stole the episode in the family history and the coupon used on Matt. Colin Hanks and Zoe Lister-Jones were funny, as usual. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch Life In Pieces on Thursdays at 9:30/8:30 on CBS.

Date Night: A.P. Bio " Dating Toledoans"

Image result for ap bio dating toledoans

When it gets tiresome traveling back and forth from Toronto to New York City for dating,  Jack decides to try Toronto for a change and learns about who matters first: friends or a girlfriend.

After a date night turned bad for Jack, he realized that traveling from Toronto to NYC is just too difficult to do, so with the help of the teachers he's taken his dating search to Toronto. After the first night, it didn't work to well with what he was selling, but when it came on the second time, he meets with someone that's up his alley. But he turns her down after making fun of his friends, the teachers, about how stupid they look, which they were just having fun. Jack goes back to them with four shots and began a night of fun.

In the meantime, Principle Durbin gets jealous over how Helen was hilarious during the school announcements and tries to punish her by acting mean stricken towards her. But when she finally confronted him about it and pulled off an amazing soap opera moment that had everyone watching in their classrooms.

"Dating Toledoans" was another hilarious episode with good character development. I couldn't get enough of Paula Pell's Helen when she did the announcements for the first time, not to mention her and Patton Oswalt doing that soap opera style apology that the school watched. But mostly I loved the interactive between Jack and his students when discussing about having a relationship and having a crush on someone. The writing was good and the performances was good as well from Allisyn Ahsley Arm, Jacob Houston and Sari Arambulo, Oswalt and Pell. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch A. P. Bio Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

Being In Two Places at Once: The Blacklist "Mr. Raleigh Sinclair III (No. "

Image result for The Blacklist "Mr. Raleigh Sinclair III"

Things take a turn in this episode of  The Blacklist.

When Red helps the team steer on an asset that helps someone who's wants to kill his wife because of cheating. The asset helps the man by finding an airtight alibi for him. The team and Red hunt the man down together but on separate terms but Red finds Sinclair first and takes him to chat about a deal to work for him. But the FBI get the guy who was caught trying to kill his wife/girlfriend in the parking deck.

Meanwhile, with Liz coming back to the FBI, she needed to talk to the FBI therapist. But this one was a challenge as she tested her mind about her revenge on Tom's death. But Liz broke through and told her what she is and will always be: a mother, an agent and a widow. But the most interesting and the highlight of the episode comes to Liz and Red having a therapy session as daughter and father.

But Liz catches the officer that's been sneaked in her apartment last week and comes to agreement to work together on the case with her and the FBI, which I find really creepy and worrisome thinking that this could be a setup for Ian's team to take the advantage. But this is the Blacklist and we all would have to think beyond what we see.

This was another good episode. The writing was good and the performance was still at it's level. Overall, I give the episode a 8/10.

You can catch The Blacklist Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.

Cooking and Making: The Blacklist "The Cook"/The Invisible Hand"

Image result for The Blacklist The Cook

"The Cook (No. 56)"

As Liz continues to search for Tom's killers, she gets help from Red, which leads to the service from one of the most innovative tech guys he knows, a kid. As the kid hacks into the eye, it has information and triggers a GPS of their location. Red gets everyone out, including Liz, who wants to take them on, but he wouldn't let that happen.

Liz thinks that Red is helping because he wants to hide something. Of course, he denies it but then later tells her that the suitcase contains a secret that he must keep secret. But if Liz will help him, she will know that secret.

Meantime, the task force is looking for the Cook, a Blacklister who happens to kill people by setting arson fires in homes.  They get help from a known arsonist, who's up for early release. With his help, the clues led to someone they had no idea, someone who worked in the Catholic church. As soon as they head off to the latest victim's house, instead of killing his victim, he kills himself by setting himself on fire.

"The Cook (No. 56)" was an excellent episode. I thought the storyline of Red and Liz was good and developed very well. I can't understand how Red doesn't know Star Wars and such. And not to mention, given the kid's mother's four pet spiders, the number four means death. Oops! Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

Image result for The Blacklist The Invisible Hand

"The Invisible Hand (No. 63)"

The FBI gets help from Reddington to take on the group known as The Invisible Hand, who targets and buries them alive in a known abandoned chemical planet. When they capture the leader, one of the members, Reddingtot, talks to him about the whereabouts of a man known as The Toy Maker. The Toy Maker has helped with the man who killed Tom, let alone helped build that glass eye.

Meanwhile, Liz goes after a man Tom was hunting before he died, who turns out to be her grandfather. Butt she doesn't know that still, and he plays her pretty well.

But Red gets a tip about who the man that killed Tom is and might be part of an avastste group of federal or state cops. Pretty much on the money when it came to that when that detective breaks into Liz's apartment and calls his boss about that Liz isn't backing off the case. The man who happens to work for Ian Garvey is a U.S. Marshall.

"The Invisible Hand" is another well-written and best-directed episode. I couldn't get enough of the shots from the field that kept creepy at the time and unique simultaneously—I got to credit Andrew McCarty for directing the episode. Also, the episode kept me excited and left me shocked at the end to see that Ian is a U.S. Marshall. And not to mention the Liz and Red scene with Toy Maker and Liz threatening him not to call her sweetheart. Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.

You can catch The Blacklist Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.

Riding the Intense of High Drama: Chicago PD Season 5 episodes 10- 15)

Image result for Chicago PD Rabbit Hole

Season 5 of Chicago PD has been nothing but a rush of intense entertainment.

When the show returned in January the show picked up from it's fall finale of Ruzek trying to fix what he had done with his deal with Woods, who been trying to get Voight caught and fired. But Voight and Al figured out before even Adam could even come forward to Voight. But when Voight learns about it, he had Ruzek go along with Woods as if what happen here never happen so they could grab more information.

Ruzek gets put into a corner and keeps on doing business with Woods. But it's doesn't seem to be the end as the body of the man who killed Voight's son has been found at a construction site. Woods, with his cheesy grin, talks to Voight and given him updates of the process. Voight, in the meantime, can only do what he can to keep him and Erin, who moved the body there, away from being the suspects.

Meanwhile, Halstead's keeps his undercover job as his relationship with Camilla grows. But when someone gets killed, who happens to be an undercover agent, outside of the bar, Halstead tries to do everything he can to keep her away from trouble. Voight and Upton isn't too pleased about it (you think?) and forces him to get her to confess about what had happen to an undercover agent. But she gives a name and not only takes him down but Camilla down as well and it wasn't too pretty for Jay to do so, let alone apologizes as well.

Atwater gets kidnapped when he was checking on someone and is assume to be another drug salesman. But while being held up, he's with a man that even hates Atwater as it's the father of the son that he shot years ago. But after trying to talk about it, the two worked together to get out and does but Atwater comes close of getting killed.

Burgess not only deals with professional issues when Antonio gets close to a visiting detective that turns out to be a mother on revenge on a drug lord, who killed her son.  But also personally when her and the team take on a rape and murder case that hits close to home.

So far this season has been amazing and intense to watch with such great writing in developing these characters. The performances from the cast have been a home run with performances from Jesse Lee Soffer to Marina Squerciati and LaRoyce Hawkins. The Halstead storyline this season has been an emotionally wild ride to watch as he's dealing with personal issues that really dived into his professional.

So far I give this part of the season a 8.5/10.

And tonight's the epic 100th episode milestone but also the #OneChicago crossover with Chicago Fire.

You can catch Chicago PD Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC.

The Madness in March: Chicago Med "Foile A Deux"

Image result for chicago med folie a deux

A questionable act of a patient, a father's weird reunion with her daughter and a moment that was slowly building has finally taken off.

When Ethan and April were playing around in his apartment, Ethan gets a call of someone getting stabbed in the stomach in his own apartment. The stabber is of course hurt too and freaking out and its put into question with Dr. Charles when he looks into her mental state. When her friend comes to visit, she gives a strange vibe and says things from having her check and who would drive her to work kind of thing.

Dr. Charles tries to show Jay Halstead that the patient wasn't the one who did it but her so called "friend" and tried to prove it by questioning her. He calls it "Folie A Deux" which stands for "two madness" or when someone's mental state convinces another person of the same mental state like she thinks the guy that she stabbed is a killer.

In the meantime, Natalie treats an infant that presents with whooping cough and goes through all the channels to help the kid survive, even though the baby isn't yet immune yet. But Natalie learns that the baby caught the illness from her son, who isn't vaccinated and gets a word with the husband and father about it.

Noah treats a patient, who shows signs of a heart attack and gets the approval from the Troll, but when Rhodes and Bekker treat the patient it's a total different story. When Bekker and Rhodes take the patient to surgery, they see that the patient has a bad aortic dissection that requires to chill the patient in order to fix and save.

Bekker was pissed that Noah didn't see it and it really didn't make him feel better, but some guild lines from Rhodes did help. Later, both Rhodes and Bekker accommodated each other with how great of work they did with that patient. But they get word from Latham that he'll be hand picking his team to separate conjoint twins.  And soon after the news, the two talked a bit more and the moment came when they finally kissed.

With Dr. Charles taking care of his patient, he gets a visit from another person, who thought needed help and medication.  But it turns out the patient is actually the father of Dr. Sarah Reese, who wants to connect with her. Soon, Reese gets a letter from her dad, who hasn't seen him in 20 years, that he's in town and wants to see her, she does meet with him and is taking a chance with him. But I'm with Charles as things don't seem right at all with this as he tells him things that even Charles can't say to Reese about.

"Folie A Deux" was another great hour of television of character development, strong writing and kept it really interesting for the whole hour. I don't get too tired of watching Natalie stand up for vaccinations for kids and watching her call the husband/father/brother-in-law an idiot was something cool and such a Halstead move. The stabbing patient case was such an interesting one to watch through this episode and learning about a mental disorder that I've never heard of and not to mention Reese and her father. I thought that Reese's father would be somewhat kind of different but didn't expect a professor as all, but with the stuff he's pulling and saying to Charles, I question it 110 percent. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch Chicago Med when it returns in two week (due to the series premiere of Rise next week) on NBC.

All in The Family: This Is Us "This Big, Amazing, Beautiful Life"

Image result for this is us this big amazing beautiful life

This week's episode was another emotionally powerful episode of a child's view from birth to where she is now.

"This Big, Amazing, Beautiful Life" was written as a beautiful and powerful view point of one child of Deja from birth, growing up with a mother and grandmother and dealing with the foster care system to even meeting with the Randall's family. Trying to keep hope that her mother, Shauna, would get better and stay on the right track. But when Shauna gets Deja back and comes home along with her new friend that happen to cause more trouble as time goes on that would leave her do that gun charges that really wasn't her gun at all.

You see where she picks up the attitude just a bit when she first comes into Randall's home from a friend in the foster system. But not to mention took one advice by heart that if she's in a home with a bed, she hangs on to it tightly.

As the episode progress, we come back to the present after Randall and Beth found Deja and Shauna sleeping in their car. They take them in, fixed them dinner and watched a movie along, but as all of this was happening Shauna was watching Deja on how happy she was being around Randall's family as if she belongs here. Once Deja goes to her room, Shauna talks with Beth about her life and daughter and decided that it was best for her to stay here and her to go leaving Deja in Randall and Beth's hands.

I thought this episode was so beautifully written and the performance from Lyric Ross as Deja was amazingly and emotionally engaging. I thought that the during certain scenes like the births and such was so interesting and in a way that Deja is like a real part of the Pearsons. The final scene with Shauna leaving was tear-jerking moment of the episode, along with many others. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch the season finale of This Is Us next Tuesday at 9/8c followed by the series premiere of Rise at 10/9c on NBC.

Good Girls "Pilot" Series Premiere

Image result for good girls nbc

Good Girls premiered last Monday, and after watching it, it seems to be the show to watch.

In the pilot, the episode introduces us to our three leading women who struggle with life challenges: Beth is dealing with going into divorce due to their husband's actions, and Ruby's child's health is in the balance due to the cost. Annee is fighting for custody of her kid. When they need to make something, they pull off a robbery at a grocery store. But what comes next goes a 180 when the amount of money they take is more than what they were thinking, much more.

But after spending some of the money for personal usage, Ruby uses her portion of the money on her daughter's treatment. But they get a wake-up call from a gang that they took their money and asked for it back. With some of the money gone, they try to make up for it, but eventually, they are forced to help the gang out with things until their debt is paid off.

But the episode doesn't end just there; Anne, who's threatened by her boss at the supermarket, knowing that she is one of the robbers, almost gets raped, but her sister Beth comes in and tries to bluff him away with a toy gun. But after pushing her buttons about not doing anything, she knocks him with a bottle and soon trips and falls onto the coffee table dead.

From the beginning of the episode to the end, I was hooked on these characters. This is the kind of show to drink wine and hang out with her friends watching, not to mention that it's the perfect show for the time we're in right now. The chemistry of Christina Hendricks, Retta, and Mae Whitman is fantastic and so spot on. I would want to be friends with their characters.

Well-developed characters make vital and challenging decisions to prove that they are not what they seem they are. In one scene, when Ruby tries to talk with the doctor about a new medication, and as she's speaking, the doctor is dealing with other things and says she isn't paying attention until she finally calls and says that he listens to her. That was such a power scene and one of Retta's best performaperformancesll; I give this episode an 8.5/10

You can catch Good Girls Mondays at 10/9c on NBC.

Life Sentence Pilot Preview

LFS101e_0542b

This Wednesday marks the series premiere of Lucy Hale's new series "Life Sentence." Here's a preview of the "Pilot" episode.

When Stella (Hale), a young woman who has spent the last eight years of living like she was dying, finds out that her cancer has been cured. She is suddenly forced to face the long-tern consequences of the "live in the moment" decisions she made, which includes marrying a total stranger. But she also finds out that her"perfect family" isn't so perfect after all and everyone in her life hid their problems from her.

Stella is shocked to learn that her parents, Peter (Dylan Wash) and Ida (Gillian Vigman), have fallen out of love, her sister, Elizabeth (Brooke Lyons), gave up her own dreams to start a family with her husband Diego (Carlos PenaVega) to take care of her, and her often overlooked brother Aiden (Jayosn Blair), who's pushing 30 and still lives above the garage, sells Adrenal to soccer moms and uses Stella's cancer to guilt them into sleeping with him.

Meanwhile, Stella's husband Wes (Elliot Knight), begins to worry that he can't continue to pretend to be her perfect husband for the rest of his life. With a real future suddenly in front of her, Stella's cinematic life snaps into reality, and instead of living like she was dying, she will have to learn to live like she's living, and help her family and friends to do the same.

You can catch the series premiere of Life Sentence Wednesday, March 7 at 9/8c on The CW.

It's not Cheating if the Person Helping You Loves You: Life In Pieces "Therapy Cheating Shoes Movie"

Another week, another fun-filled half-hour with the Shorts.

"Therapy Cheating Shoe Movie" was another winning episode in my book with the humorist moments of Joan getting Tyler and Clementine back together, Tim getting Holly to do his driving test online, and Heather trying to make Holly feel bad until Holly tells her that she said the DMV about it and Tim get hiss lilicenseuspended. Not to mention Jen getting sick and tired of the family adding more family time with movie night, but realized that it's essential fun.

I enjoyed this episode. It h. I laugh from time to time. Their stories were so well developed, ma, only with the movie story about Jen. I couldn't get enough of the Tim, Holly, and Heather story with the DMV, as it was one of my favorites. And we're delighted knowing that Tyler and Clementine will get back together. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

You can catch Life In Pieces on Thursdays at 9:30/8:30 on CBS.

Battle of Power: A.P. Bio "Overachieving Virgins "

Be careful who you punish, it might set off a school battle.

When Jack comes to class all hangry, he asked that his students give their snack/lunch that he could eat. But when Marcus makes the situation worst, Jack punishes him by seating in the back looking at the wall under a leaky ceiling. With no one going to give up their snacks, Jack heads out to the vending machines for his favorite chips.

But when there are no chips, Jack talks with the Student Council to get them back but in order to do so he has to speak with the student council president, which happens to be Marcus. Soon it becomes a battle between Jack and Marcus as each torch one another from sending Marcus, Grace and Victor to the principal's office due to kissing in the classroom to Marcus putting garden dirt on Jack's parking spot.

With a much frustrated Jack, he gets a call from an unknown call, who's using auto tune and trying to skip P.E, telling him that the election was ridge. Jack checks out the clue that lead to him to the car junkyard and finding Grace there and learned from her that the election was ridge because Marcus' parents paid Grace to do so.

Jack confronts the whole Student Council about it and apparently Marcus learned of the news for the very first time. Jack meets with March's mother, who tries get him to tell Marcus that he won, but that didn't work and Jack talks with Marcus to fix the whole mess.

Meanwhile, Stef tries to get Mary and Michelle to order her beauty products that are very pricey. Mary and Michelle get Durbin to interfere but failed so they confronted her about it and after a moment she backed off.

"Overachieving Virgins"  was a soft episode that has some moments and not so good moments. The Jack and Marcus storyline in this episode was very good with so much comedic moments and well developed characters. I couldn't get enough of when Heather tells the class that she steals magazines and gets caught for the thrill. And not to mention when Victor calls Jack for the tip and his gym teacher catches him and tells him to come down and that he's not on his period. The story with the teachers dealing with their friend wasn't catching on at all. The writing was good and the performance from Glenn Howerton, Nick Peine and Alisyn Ahsle Arm were amazingly good. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

You can catch A.P. Bio Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.

The Fire Still Burning: Chicago Fire Season 6 (Episodes 1-11)

If you thought that after five seasons, the flames of the Chicago Fire would be considered down, you thought wrong, my friend. Season 6 of the hit NBC show has kept the fire burning with fresh and gripping.

Season 6 started where we left off at the end of Season 5 with Casey, Severide, Herrmann, and Mouch trapped in a factory fire. All summer, we'd asked that question: who will survive? Well, everyone stays on the fire after Boden orders the water cannons. Casey gets rewarded a medal for saving a life while trapped in that fire, not to mention getting bumped up to Captain at House 51.

It does put a strain on the relationship between Gabby and Casey due to the fact of what she went through, wondering if he was going to come back alive or not. But also Gabby's dad becomes a total pain for Casey. But when Gabby's dad tried to get a project going, he needed Casey's help at City Hall, but he wouldn't do it. After telling him no, Gabby gets a call about a stabbing at an L track, which happens to be her dad. He survives and takes well with the glory, but maybe he's finally come to his senses.

Throughout the season, the folks at Firehouse 51 dealt with a whole lot of stuff, from an arson fire at Dona's school to dealing with the chain of common between Casey and Severide, which carries on throughout the first half of the season.

Gabby helps a kid out, who at first was at a clinic fire and stealing meds—then tried to help her with her father being a pain addict due to a work injury. When the dad OD, Gabby, and Severide help out, the kid runs off because she doesn't want to go through DCFS. Gabby spends her time searching for her as her father is recovering. When she finds her, she takes her to see her father but also tries to get DCFS to let the girl stay with her and Casey til dad gets well. Let's say it went smoothly, thanks to Casey.

In the meantime, Kidd moves in with Severide after she gets kicked out of her place due to the difference in paying rent. It seemed like these two might restart their relationship, but it doesn't, and Kidd gets into a relationship with a HAZMAT team member. But there's something, and I think that these two will restart their relationship again.

Britt has had a good season so far with her on-again relationship with Antonio and then calling it off again. But I think they'll get back together again; the third time is the charm. She gets a visit from her best friend from her hometown and doesn't get that her friend is trying to steer Kidd away from the firehouse due to her feelings for Severide. Trying to be a helping hand to all, she plays with Kidd's paycheck that doesn't show up. But when word that Kidd was being transferred without Kidd's knowing, Casey figured out that someone forged the signature, which turns out was Britt's friend. And with the help of Miss. Connie, it's bye-bye!

Throughout the season, the relationship between Casey and Severide has been bouncing back and forth, with Casey being named Captain and all. But when Severide gets a visit from his mentor, he tries to push Severide that he should be the Captain, not Casey. After one incident, Casey might be in trouble with his decision-making during a car accident. Casey gets misquoted by Severide's mentor; things get heated again for the two. But when Severide gets word about accommodation for his work, he turns it down.  But it turns out that Casey was the one who filed the paperwork on that.

In the last episode before the Winter Olympics, Casey and Severide were to turn off the gas pressure at the factory, but it wouldn't turn anymore. Casey and Severide decide to jump off the roof of the building like Thema and Louis or Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid, and well, all we know is they landed in the water and have to turn in tonight's return at 10/9c on NBC.

So far, Season 6 of Chicago Fire has been a blast with gripping storylines and well-developed characters. The cast is on their feet regarding their performances throughout this season. With many dramatic moments, there are plenty of humorous moments, making Fire one of the best shows on Thursday night. I can't wait to see what the rest of season six will bring with Severide's mother coming, not to mention his ex-girlfriend, who said he was having his child at the end of season one and the beginning of season two, but it turned out it wasn't.

Overall,  Chicago Fire this season is 8.5/10.

You can catch Chicago Fire when they return tonight at 10/9c on NBC.
