Triple Dragon Cleanup: Brooklyn Nine-Nine "The Honeypot"
As Jake help Holt search for a new assistant, Amy helps out with the team of cleaning their desk. Here's a recap!
As Captain Holt goes through and interviews candidates as his Gina's replacement, Jake offers his help and gives his acceptance. Later Jake finds the perfect candidate, which later after hiring him Jake feels that he's a spy from John Kelly. In order to find out that he is a spy, they had to distract him so Jake could copy the guy's laptop drive.
After what took so long, Jake finds nothing but it was soon that the guy would come to him and Holt and confess that he's a spy for Kelly. Soon the three devise a plan to get Kelly but as the plan goes in play, Holt and Jake get doubled crossed or did they as Holt comes up with a backup plan called Triple Dragon and gave his demands to Kelly of what he wants or he'll turn tapes and recordings of him. The 99 is back!!
Meanwhile, Terry notices that everyone's desk is a bit messy and while everyone agreed they asked for someone to help with that problem: Amy. Amy gives them orders of how to get things organized, but no one wants to throw out anything because it gives them joy. Soon Amy decides to go hardcore and gets everyone to put their non-important stuff in trash bags and set them on fire.
But when she sees Terry's suspenders still in his desk, Amy learns the real meaning of keeping those suspenders because they were for him when he passed the lieutenants exam that he didn't pass. The next day, Amy puts the lieutenant's books for Terry to study and taking the test again.
"The Honeypot" was another marvelous and hilarious episode. By the time the show ended, I wanted more and more. From the Holt and Jake's taking down an assistant that is spying on them, which I enjoyed a lot to Amy ship shaping the team's messy desk, which at first I didn't think would be all fun but it turned out to be better than what I thought it would come out to be. It gave a nice moment with Amy and Terry as he opens up why he keeps his suspenders. Strong character development plus the writing and the performances were awesome too. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

In the first part of the crossover event with Chicago PD, a spate of robberies comes to light after a firehouse lockbox key goes missing. CPD's Voight has suspicions that a firefighter may be involved, and with Boden's support, he recruits Cruz to go undercover and help sniff out any suspicious activity.Chicago PD: "Good Men"
In the second part of the crossover with Chicago Fire, using information from CFD's Cruz, Intelligence chases down the robbery crew that's been using the lockbox key. Creepy Crawlers: The Blacklist "General Shiro (No. 116)"
Move over Stewmaker (even though you're dead) there's a new Blacklister that's just as creepier! Here's a recap!
There's been a string of murders of highly corporate people dying from deadly bugs that come out of their bodies. Freaky, no? Reddington gives Liz and the task force a name to look into and as they hunt down and as Liz and team learn of that the reason these guys are dying was business of making money and not saving the environment. As Liz and Ressler learn who General Shiro is, they go after him but a bit late when he pulls not only another stunt to the chairman committee but also himself when he is arrested. But Dembe gets help from Liz to look into Shiro's office for a file that could help Reddington.
Meanwhile, Reddington tries to stay afloat when it's time to pick the jury for the trial. Trying what he can, Red gets Dembe to ask Glenn for help but turns out Glenn would be the lord and savior for Red. But after what seemed to fight for him to stay on the jury, Glenn messes it up and gets dismessed. Thanks, Jelly Bean! Now looks like the fate of Red could be the end is near unless he can get something going with whatever Shiro had in the file.
I very much enjoyed this episode from the beginning to the end. The deadly bug thing was not only creepy but so awesome. But it was during the jury finding began to get intense with nervousness, mostly coming from Glenn when he came in. As much as I could say those were my favorite moment of the episode, there were more from Red and Cooper smoking cigars and chatting, Dembe telling Red that he's screwed but Red tells him to keep the faith, and the talk between Liz and Dembe near the end which gave me chills beyond words. Any chance that Dembe knows what Liz knows? Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
You can catch The Blacklist this Friday with a two-hour episode event beginning at 8/7c on NBC.
Making a Promise: Brooklyn Nine-Nine "The Crime Scene"
When a crime scene gets difficult for Jake and Rosa to solve; Jake ups the difficulty by making a promise to the victim's mother that they'll solve it. Here's a recap!
With only being about two characters in this episode, was probably one of the funniest episodes of the season so far. When Jake and Rosa are dealt with a very difficult murder case but things didn't add up. But when Jake meets with the victim's mother and makes a promise to solve the case, Jake doesn't stop cracking the case. From placing red sticky notes as blood on Amy while sleeping to even not wearing any pants in the victim's home, drew the lines that Jake overthinking and Rosa decided to give the case to major crimes.
But the tables turn when Rosa and Jake tell the victim's mother that the case was too hard to crack. After looking at the mother, Rosa changed her mind and makes the same promise to her like Jake did early and tells Jake that she did because she reminded her of her mother. Just as they go back, the apartment was clean from top to bottom, but Jake and Rosa hear something rattling in the air vents where Jake spots wrappers and empty bottles that indicates that someone was hear when CSI was going through the room. Looking at the tape, they see their suspect and soon picks him up and books him!
After closing the case, Rosa tells Jake that she called her mother to meet with her. After an awkward couple of seconds of meeting, Jake leaves and Rosa and her mother seem to be on good terms now after she came out as bisexual last season.
"The Crime Scene" was such a strong and hilarious episode. It's probably one of my favorites so far this season, only this being the sixth episode of the season. I thought the characters were amazing and the development of Jake and Rosa was beautifully written. Not only was Rosa and her mother meeting was a great scene, but I also couldn't get enough of the CSI guy and Jake arguing about great cop shows that are based on their squad. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
