Single Parents Season 1

Image result for single parents abc

It was one of the best new comedies of 2018-2019. If you haven't seen Single Parents, why not?

Single Parents are mainly "Friends" with kids who are funny, brilliant, and have a lot of heart. The premise is about a group of single parents who see a newly single parent named Will and how he's so invested in being a part of his daughter's life during the first day of school. They soon decide to help him.

Like Will (played by Taran Killman), there are other single parents like Angie (played by Leighton Meester), a single mother with a needy kid; Douglas (played by Brad Garrett), an older single father with identical twin girls who put himself first and them to work, Poppy (Kimmie Lewis) a single mother with a son and Miggy (Jake Choi) a young father with a baby. Each character shows their struggles and strengths in their parenting.

While the jokes seem juvenile, they fit the characters in the embarrassing parent jokes. Both Killman and Meester work so well together with their chemistry. Brad Garrett shines in this series as it shines in this series, which I've had a hard time with since the end of Raymond. And not to mention, the kids on the show are a total delight to watch, especially the twins, as they could be like Mary-Kate and Ashely Olsen meet the twins from The Shinning.

I was never really into the series from the start; the promos and trailers didn't sell it to me. But during the middle of the first season, I jumped in and watched the first couple of episodes, and even though the pilot was a bit weak, it got better and better with its writing and character development. Overall, I give the first season an 8/10.

You can catch the first season of Single Parents on Hulu. The second season premieres Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.

From the promos and trailers, this series has a strong premise that I'm very much looking forward to. I'm not reading a whole lot from other critics about this series so it could be a sleeper hit this season.

You can catch the premiere of Sunnyside Thursday, Sept. 26th at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.

Chicago PD "Doubt" Season Premiere Preview

Last season Chicago PD stunted America with a cliffhanger that asked the question: did he do it? Here's a preview of the season premiere.

"Doubt"

In the season seven premiere, when Kelton is found murdered, Voight's grudge against the mayor-elect puts him under suspicion. Upton and Halstead are eager to prove their sergeant's innocence, but the more evidence they gather, the closer they come to do the opposite. After making bail, Ruzek searches for a missing Antonio.

Could the writings on the wall be the end for Voight? I have a hard time disagree with that after watching the season finale with that scene with Halstead, which I think was a powerful moment. It would very interesting to see how Voight gers out of this one, even with the idea that Kate could have been the one that killed Kelton.

You can catch the season premiere of Chicago PD Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10/9c on NBC.

Chicago Med "Never Going Back to Normal" Season Premiere

Here's a preview of the season premiere of Chicago Med.

"Never Going Back to Normal"

In the season five premiere, Will and Natalie face the aftermath of a horrific car incident and are left to battle for their lives. An investigation is launched following the suspicious death of the elder Cornelius Rhodes, Dr. Rhodes' father. Maggie receives life-changing news. Dr. Charles cuts his honeymoon short to tend to a young patient he suspects might have schizophrenia.

Even though the press release for the episode on Med has more juice than what Fire gave, this is my anticipated premiere to watch this season after all that had to happen in the finale. There's gonna be so much to take in. Manstead is my top concern but also I wonder how the show will write off Conner. Grab the tissues, I guess.

You can catch the season premiere of Chicago Med Wednesday. Sept. 25th at 8/7c on NBC.

Seems like the network and show is keeping the premiss of the season premiere pretty tight. I feel not only one but a few of the lives of House 51 will be in danger, I'm thinking Ritter, Herrmann, Brett, Cruz, and Mouch. But who knows? I know we hate to lose anyone and trying to figure this out brings me back to Season 3 premiere and even Season 6 too. Whatever happens, I'm sure we're gonna be on the edge of our seats trying to be ready for anything.

You can catch the season premiere of Chicago Fire Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 9/8c on NBC.

Oh my god! Oh my God!!! AAAHHHH!!!!! I'm gonna need some to calm down. Could Natalie be gone? Who's the firefighter down? Did Brett go down too? Could this be Voight's last season?
