FBI (S8, Ep. 17) "Shahadah"

This week’s FBI episode showed some investigations need more than a badge—they need a soul. 'Shahadah' diverged from typical procedures to explore religious devotion and criminal responsibility. Focusing on OA’s faith during a brutal homicide, it became the most introspective episode of the season. Here's my recap and review.

DMV (S1, Ep. 16) "Fresh Ink"

This week’s South Hollywood DMV episode showed that sometimes no press is better than bad press. 'Fresh Ink' was a case of good intentions gone wrong, as the staff dealt with public perception, harsh reviews, and losing a wager. Though the stakes were minor, the comedy highlighted why this crew is the most dysfunctional branch in the state. Here's my recap and review.

"Family Business” exposes dark family secrets behind a perfect household, asking what happens when protectors hide lies. With a botched car bomb, guns for charity, and a rescue mission, it shows the deadliest secrets sit at the family table. Here's my recap and review.

Daredevil (S2, Ep. 2-4) "Shoot The Moon"/"The Scales & The Sword"/"Gloves Off"

Hell’s Kitchen has been lively and intense, but under Mayor Wilson Fisk, the excitement has increased. This week, I followed a three-episode arc that took the series from gritty streets to an epic urban story with surprises and action. The White Tiger legacy and a dramatic diner massacre, which pushed on-screen intensity, make Born Again seem like the awaited revival. Here are my thoughts on the 'Northern Star' saga and Bullseye's return.

One Chicago Recap: Chicago Med "Altered States"/Chicago Fire "Sway"/Chicago P.D. "Partners"

The #OneChicago universe brought us even more touching moments, brave heroics, and tough decisions than some shows show in a whole season — and Episode 17 for each series truly made every minute special. Be sure to catch up on this week's episodes!

Hacks (S5, Ep. 1) "EGOT" Season Premiere

In comedy, they say dying is easy—it’s the legacy that’s hard. The final season premiere of Hacks literalized that, bringing Deborah Vance back from a death hoax to face her own immortality. In an hour that was a media satire and personal chess match between two comedy titans, 'EGOT' showed why this show is the gold standard of character-driven comedy. Here's my recap and review of the start of the season end.
