Two Peas in a Pod: The Good Place "Chapter 4: Jason Mendoza"

In the previous episode, Jianyu spoke to Eleanor and told her that he's not to suppose to be here. Shocking not only Eleanor but us too.

Jianyu or Jason Mendoza tells Eleanor about how he got here and pretended to be a monk. He tells her that he was a music DJ filling in for Acid Cat, but when we learn more of his backstory, he decided that he wanted to be his own DJ and not a character.

Well, after the secret is out, he shows Eleanor his bud-hole (buddy hangout), where he plays video games and other stuff but Tahani thinks he's meditating. But soon Chidi knows about Jason and his secret thinking that Eleanor had broken Jianyu.

After Chidi finds out, soon Tahani hears Jason speak for the first time and for only that time. She thinks that Eleanor and Chidi are helping him speak, which is a good cover. Later, Tahani tells Michael about it and set up an extra place for Jason for the grand opening of The Good Plate, where at the party, the only order on the menu is the customer's favorite dish.

Michael wants to play a game, where everyone tells a special memory about their dish, as he tries to get Jason to speak, but failed when Eleanor and Chidi tries to stop it by ruining the cake and causing a sinkhole.

That was just enough to avoid Jason talking and for Eleanor and Chidi to get Jason to take their class on how to be a better person. After to agreeing, the next morning, he comes in and asked questions about if there are a soccer team and a prom. For Eleanor having a student like Jason in the class, will make Eleanor the smart one in the class, right Chidi?

This episode was hilarious! Loved Jason and Eleanor storyline in this episode. Even the bud-hole joke was hilarious, thinking that he said butt hole. The B-side story was good and funny but not like the A-story. Tahani and Michael getting ready for the opening of The Good Plates was funny not to mention the sinkhole was too.

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

For All an Eternity: The Blacklist "Mato (No. 66)"

The Blacklist has done it again!!!

This episode was outstanding from the start to the tragic ending. This episode really focused on two people, Liz and Mr. Kaplan.

When Liz is in the airplane with Kirk, she soon takes the plane down, way down and hits the ocean waters. There only her and Kirk are stranded hoping for help to arrive. When a small boat comes, they are on board and just as Lix was asking for a gun from the fisherman, Kirk shoots him with his gun, that was in the toolbox.

Kirk takes Liz back on a plane where they headed off to a place known as the Summer Palace. It's the place where Liz and her parents stayed a better part of their summer. As Liz is there, she looks around and when she spots the backyard she gets flashbacks of her and her mother. She runs towards the garden where at the time she was little her mother put some special things in a container and buried it. She digs it up and finds a few things, mostly a made bracelet. She puts it on and soon the FBI shows up and Kirk is gone with the baby.

Meantime, Red and the team hit a bump, literally as Agnus is taken away again from the man I called Cuban Frankenstein, but he's name is Mato and Kaplan knows of him.  So  Red and team go back to the states where a friend of Mr. Kaplan knows how to get a hold of Mato.

After trying the guy's office, they go to the OR where he's having stomach surgery and it was sweet seeing Red walk in the OR demanding to wake the guy up. The doctor woke up him and after Kaplan tried to talk to him, Red sent in Tom to do the job and after a good couple of minutes with him, he told him how to reach Mato.

When using the number that they got, they waited for him, until Kaplan was spotted and Mato ran off being chased by Tom and Dembe, but stopped by Kaplan and the car. Red talks to Mato and told him about the story with an Indian tribe and threaten him to put him in a tight box leaving him rioting in there with no light. Mato talked and told Red that he was at the Summer Place.

As Red gave Cooper the info, Liz was saved and taken to her new home where her and Tom reunited. Red on the other hand took a long trip with Mr. Kaplan. Now throughout the episode, Kaplan knows something is going to happen to her, the question is when. Red walks with her through an acre of land, where he told a story of how he got it. But soon tells her of how she betrayed him and that even it was for Liz and the baby that he can't trust a person like that anymore. At first we would think that he was going to let her live after he told her that the land was her.....until he says for all an eternity and shoots her.

Shocking enough to see, probably one of my favorite blacklist supporting characters dead like that was enough, but when the camera came back to her we see her hand move as in grabbing on to the grass tightly. Holy crap!!! Here's a lesson for you, don't betrayed Red. I believe that's in Blacklist 101.

I loved this episode a lot. I thought that the writers handled this beautiful as we not only watch Liz go through more and more memories of her past, but Mr. Kaplan too. I have to give made propers to Susan Blommaert on a tremendous performance. Even the eerie score when Liz was going through the canister was great. Plus that song at the end too.

Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10.

Win, Lose, Draw! Chicago Med "Win Loss"

When two babies are on the edge of death, one doctor thinks that one could help save the other, but will another doctor agree to it?

When Manning gets an infant patient who's eating, things turn for the worst as the baby's muscles aren't as flexible as they should be and soon are on the vent. The test shows nothing abnormal. What the hell could be causing this kid to be this sick?

Meanwhile, Rhodes' patient, another infant baby, hasn't been outside of the hospital since he was born. The baby is on the organ transplant list, and things don't look good for him either. But when Rhodes sees Manning's patient, he discusses with her how her patient could help him, which would put her in a bad situation.

After testing to see if Manning's and Rhodes' patients were a match, they proved to be a match. The parents of Manning's patient aren't too pleased about it. When Manning sees the kid's shoes and asks about what the baby does at the park, the mother says that she does tummy time, and soon Manning gets someone from an infectious disease to come down, and it turns out it was an infection from the grass. Leaving Rhodes' patient waiting even longer.

Meanwhile, Halstead isn't having the best of times as he's throughout almost everything that he owns and still owns money.  He gets a homeless patient who saw things 15 years ago. When Charles sees him, he and Halstead look at the CT scan and see a tumor.

Ethan has a medical student who is about to head out overseas. After one day of just treating gunshot victims, it takes a toll on Ethan. He keeps a journal of those he couldn't save, the one gunshot victim who died.

Things to take away from this episode: April seems to be afraid of the situation that she's in with her boyfriend, who asked her hand in marriage two months ago; that's what Reese said. Reese tries to help her boyfriend deal with a co-worker who wants to be best friends. Ouch! I understand that, my friend. And Jeff and Manning, I'm just going to say it: they're a thing now.

I liked this episode; it's not one of my favorites. The storyline with the babies was good and, at times, very concerning about what Manning would do if she did go with Rhodes' idea. That would be something. Ethan was attractive as we saw him teaching a student in situations and what to have when treating patients overseas. Mostly, it was at the end where he wrote the patient that he lost was a wow moment.

Overall, I give this episode a 7/10

Chicago Heat: Chicago PD "Made A Wrong Turn"

When a drug exchange goes wrong for one person, his girlfriend is kidnapped in one of the worst area for CPD to search in south side of Chicago.

This episode his the nail on the head if I ever seen an episode like it. With all the news that has been going on in Chicago with the gun violence and the hatred for the CPD, this episode shows that but also shows a better side to things.

The episode on the hottest day of the season, the Intelligence Unit searches for a woman who was left in the car when her boyfriend was buying drugs with few bucks and the rest as monopoly money (smart, but stupid as Jay told him). Got to love that Chicago heat wave, don't ya?

As the team search, Mouse comes in and find that the missing victim was wearing a fit bit watch and they followed the location where it was at a crack house with only her fit bit there and a piece of hair left in one box car.

Burgess and Yan head to another part of the neighborhood, where someone threw a rock at their window. When confronting them, the folks aren't gonna say anything until one lady comes up bringing both them and Voight and Al in for a drink and information, telling them that she saw a white guy taping down the street and that lead Voight to one person.

Voight and Al make a visit to a friend's place who likes to take record certain things in the neighborhood and forces him to show him the video tape, which he had of the kidnapping. Only chills came down as Voight knocked him down from his chair and Al coming towards him telling him not to do it again.

The person that they're after is a man that goes by the nickname 6-6 because he's six foot six inches. The locate where he's staying and it's a place that's not in love with cops , go figure. Voight decides to go through the front of the gate and ask to get him, after they allowed them through they found the 6-6 but he's not going down quietly.    

Holding the victim in another room, Voight sees where the guy is at and had Halstead in the other room. After given him the location he gives Halstead the mark and shoots 6-6 without hurting the missing victim.

Other things that happen in this episode, Halstead and Lindsey are now officially a couple as Erin got Jay to move in with him. I really don't think he actually bought the place that he said he was going to that he was playing with her hoping to move in with her.

Platt deals with the Commander who forced Yan to another job, because she turned him down for a romance of fun (by the way, who would want that from that guy?). After Platt being Platt the guy goes off on her and demanding her to send Yan back or else. I think "or else" would be a part in next week's episode, don't you think?

There was a moment in this episode that really struck a mark. When Voight and Al was walking down the street, a man comes up asking for Voight. He asked if he remembers him, which Voight doesn't but remembers the guy's grandson who was put in jail. The grandfather thanked Voight for what he has done for his grandson that he doesn't have to think of his safety out in the neighborhood, for which I thought it was sweet and something that we need of at these hard times.

I thought that this episode was great and even next week's episode looks to be a very special episode.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Task At Hand: Blindspot "Hero Fears Imminent Rot"

With a bombs setting off in New York for the FBI to handle, but for Jane she's dealing with a mind set when her brother and mother gives her a task to do.

In the last scene of the previous episode, we see that Roman drugged Jane. Jane wakes up in room as she tries to figure out where she is at. She's take to see Roman and Sheppard where they asked her about Cade and how she escaped him. She tells them well enough for them to give her a task to see if she's who they think she is and that it to kill one of there following, Jeffery.

Roman and Jane go on a road trip to see Jeffery. She gets flashbacks of them together, but when they get to his house and go in, the guy freaks and runs to his safe room. After battling his security, Jane gets him to come out and Roman knocked him out. They take him to the woods and Roman tells him to take him out, but Jane tries to save him, but Roman kills him and tells her she said the mission.

Meanwhile, the FBI deals with bomb attacks that are happening around the city. Patterson and Nas figured out tweets from the bombers who tweets the person's name and when it will happen as it's set on a timer.

Jane comes back and tells Weller and Nas that she might have been caught when she failed a mission that they gave her. Weller and Nas argued over the difference of opinion of Jane's situation. When Patterson comes in and tells them about the next bomb to go off, Nas sends Jane with Weller and the team and it goes smooth but not quite as one suspect is dead but the other is still out there.

Weller tells Jane to stay, and the rest head out to where the bomber was set to set of another bomb this time with him and hostages. Weller goes in unarmed and tells everyone not to shoot. Weller goes in and puts on the bomb that the suspect ordered him to do. They talk as Weller tells him to think about the hostages families as the bomber tells him his story of how he lost his parents and sister and his partner lost his son.

But just as Weller talks more, gun shots go off and the suspect is killed. Nas was the one who shot the suspect and  the two budded heads once again. Nas did have a good point about the situation.

Meanwhile, Reade is trying to think if he should use a technique to regain past memory of the time he was with Coach Jones so he could testify against him, but would it be a great idea to remember those kind of memories.  

Patterson gets cold feet before the date with Borden. But after talking with Zapata she goes back and instead of having dinner they went right to dessert.

Jane gets a call from Roman and shes taken to meet with him and Sheppard. She tells Jane that she's sorry that she asked her do kill Jeffery and gives her a hug. Roman never told her about it. Soon they go to the bond fire and Jane speaks as they have a chance to remember Oscar and at the same time Weller, Zapata and Reade have a drink to remember Mayfair too.

I thought this was a good episode. I have to say that during the scene when the bombers were in the bathroom as they get the bomb set before taking to out to the park, the music score sounded like a video game. The writing was action packed as usually.

I'm enjoying the clash between Weller and Nas. They may have opposite opinions but they do know what's right and wrong. And Jane and the family was another thing too. Also Jane dealing with not only the FBI and Sheppard should be given her a headache, I can't wait to see what comes next for these folks.

Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.
