iZombie Season 3 trailer

On Tuesday, the first full trailer for the third season of The CW's iZombie was released today.

In the third season, Liv has discovered that there are more zombies living in Seattle than she had previously believed. That in fact, there's a private military contractor employing a small zombie army and that they are preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major finds a job and is accepted in the army. Live and Clivie investigate the murder of a zombie family that may just set off an all out zombie human war. This season, Live will eat brains and take on the traits of a dominatrix, a Jackass style stunt man, an office gossip, a conspiracy theorist and many more.

Two Worlds Apart: Grimm "Where The Wild Things Are"

Let the games begin!

"Where the Wild Things Are" picks up minutes after the previous episode where Monroe and Rosalee finds the mirror uncover and a hexinbeist book opening figuring out that Eve has gone through and calling Nick and Adalind to figure something out how to get Eve out. With Nick not allowing Adalind to go in there, he goes using the stick, but when he goes through it stays with Adalind and Monroe.

When Nick goes though he awakens to a different world of Wesen and humans seeing blutbads attacking other wesen and humans. Eve finds Nick and the two tries to find their way around looking for the black skull that they learn is called Zerstorer.

Meanwhile, with no other solution on getting Nick and Eve out, Adalind and the gang calls on Renard to tell them what he knows about these signs, but also give him the rundown of what has been happening. After he calls on his friend that he's asked about the symbols  and soon get word that this has to do with a Shaphat, or devil and is looking for it's bride.....Diana. After telling Adalind and the gang what his friend said, they go out to get everything they need to figure out what to do.

Meanwhile, Nick and Eve meets a group of humans after being chased by blutbads and after killing a couple of them in front of them they were accepted. Nick asked the leader of the group about what they're looking for and draws the face of it on a rock. After eating a piece of cooked blutbad, don't tell Monroe about this, the leader takes them to it, but gets freak out when Eve starts woging slowly.

There's a moment when Nick and Eve are at the rock that she tells Nick and Juliette is gone and that being happy only gets in the way of things. I feel that watching that scene really made me change the way Eve/Juliette has been over the years. But also gives a bit of closure as well. The two faces with the Zerstorer and for which left us with a on the edge cliffhanger.

This episode felt like a beginning of a feature film. The settings were amazing, mostly the circle rock. I loved how everyone played a great role in this episode. Bistie Tulloch was at her best in this episode with such great dialogue with David Giuntoli. There were many humorist moments from the gang meeting with Renard to even Wu making a joke about how this feels like how Alice falling through the looking glass. The writing was so good. Overall I give this episode a 9/10.

Shocked Value: Chicago Med "Monday Mourning"

It's one of those moments you would never see coming in this episode of Chicago Med.

"Monday Mourning" is very much what the episode describes on a regular morning; everyone is doing their business at Med when suddenly, a medical resident commits suicide by jumping off the hospital rooftop.

Shocked by all, each doctor and nurse reflects differently, and it depicts it so well. Halstead and Choi fight each other heads on a case of a child with stroke-like symptoms, but it turns out to be a psychological issue when Charles figures out that the kid is trying to stop his parents from moving. Halstead denies the resident's death but comes around while Choi tries to push on by keeping the workflow going but does mourn the resident's loss nicely at the end.

Manning deals with a child who falls into a frozen river. With the needed equipment not available, they tried to get the kid warmed up; they had to keep his heart running by performing CPR. Later, Manning reflects and talks to Goodwin about how she never really knew the resident and if that had made her a monster, which it doesn't.

Also, the Reese/Rhodes story plot was perfect, and it was kind of a bit of deja vu from the pilot when they both worked together on a patient who needed a balloon to stop the bleeding around the heart. Also, not only did Rhodes and Reese reflect on the resident death, but he shows her that they make mistakes and learn from them and gives a great example when that same patient, whom he was performing heart surgery, had a different condition than he saw before and caused that other patient to die on the table, but not this one and shows Reese how it's done.

And also April breaks up with her finance too, which wasn't a total shock; after losing a baby and other things, it just seemed the best that they break it off. But the most memorable moment came when, after all day observing the doctors and giving advice to Halstead, Choi, and even Goodwin, Dr. Charles was asked by Reese how he was doing and responded by saying he was not good. That response was the pot that boiled over with emotion and grief.

I loved this episode and enjoyed it to the fullest. Not only did each actor perform so well, but the writing was excellent, and the directing was terrific as they captured the emotion of each doctor. Like Manning, after the boy wakes up and the mother apologizes for calling her a monster, she walks to the doctor's lounge with the camera following her and captures the emotions of not just the patient but the grieving as well. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10

This Is Us "Moonshadow" Season Finale

Well, after going through a box and a half of Kleenexes, last night's season finale  was one hell of an emotional ride.

In the episode, we picked up where we left off from last week, Jack is driving up to see Rebecca's show. Driving and drinking, we think that somehow he might get into an accident, but he doesn't and makes it to the show. When he gets there, he waits for her and orders drink after drink until he gets going and finds her in her dressing room. When she wasn't there in her room, he asked Ben where she was at and soon Ben apologizes to Jack for trying to kiss her, for which is why she wasn't in her room.

Jack punches Ben and soon Rebecca shows up and leaves the band to take Jack back home. We see flashbacks of them in 1972, where Jack is trying to make his big shot: trying to open a automatic shop and get out of his dad's house. He gets his friend to get them into a poker game, Jack makes a lot but quickly looses it. For Rebecca she awaits for a letter in the mail to see if she would get a record deal but also her friends tell her that she should think of getting into a relationship. After getting a rejection letter, she calls and is set up with a guy, we think is Jack, but it really wasn't as it was some Wall Street guy.

Meanwhile, Jack comes up with one plan to get the money: stealing from the bar. As Jack awaits for that decoy phone call from his friend to distract the bartender, he also has a date too, thinking that it was Rebecca but it wasn't as well. As the bartender answered the phone, Jack grabs the money and makes a run at it but is stopped by someone performing on stage...Rebecca.

As Rebecca drives Jack home, things were very quiet and tense. You don't have to have music playing during the scenes when they were in the car or when they are at home. Jack apologizes to Rebecca about it and he will get help, but for Rebecca Jack doesn't have a drinking problem, but more of that he doesn't want her to have a career and soon the flood gates just busted open with feeling of anger and sadness. After they argued, Rebecca went to bed and the next day she didn't find Jack on the floor in the hall of their bedroom but on the couch and she tells him that he should stay with Miguel for a while til things blow over.

As soon as Jack is packed, he tells her the reason why he fell in love with her that with everything that he had gone through, she was the big break that he was hoping for and along with that he tells her how their kids won't be hurt from the separation, they'll do great things and we learn in the present time: Kate decides to become a singer, Kevin says goodbye to Sophia as he heads off to meet with Ron Howard for a film and Randall looks through a photo album and tells Beth that he wants to adopt a child.

"Moonshadow" was another home run of an episode but also probably the best season ender that I could remember. My emotions were running sky high. It really showed the highs and the real real low points for our favorite TV couple.  For the first time watching Jack and Rebecca arguing at each other was one of the most powerful scene in the episode as it both emotional but the first time we see them go the distance in their fight. Hands down give Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore and Emmy for their performance in this episode. They really brought it in this episode. The writing was so amazing and rich. Overall, I give this episode a 10/10.

This Season: This Is Us has really been literally the best new series and the best show of this season. This show really brings a new way of family comedy-drama in a different way that we haven't seen before. The writing was so so strong from almost every episodes but mostly memorable ones like: Pilot, The Game Plan, Pilgrim Rick, The Trip, Last Christmas, The Big Day, Memphis and also Moonshadow. The performances from Ventimiglia, Moore, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan and Ron Cephas Jones magnificent and sensational. This show should take away a lot of nominations at the Emmys this year. Overall this season has been a 9.5/10.

Shades of Blue "Eye of A Hurricane"

Beware as the storm has come full force.

After last week's season premiere, this past Sunday's episode was still on fast speed on intense drama. And most of it was calling off the buffs of each other.

When Harlee meets up with Wozniak at the local diner, not talking to her or when Stahl shows up as well but gives both of them a message from his orders: a blueberry pie (Harlee hates) and a child's pancake for Stahl (either because he's got child like features, I guess). But let's just say wit Harlee there to translate for Wozniak, it made for some funny moments.

Stahl wants a name of the politician that is connected to the mod boss that they arrested last week. We all know it's Julie but Wozniak or Harlee wants to take her down because she was one of them in the past and Harlee has to testify in court on the charges against that mod boss, for which didn't stick because the Judge dismissed it.

But Harlee gets threaten by the mod boss when they're in the elevator together and so she reopens the case of the judge (who dismissed the case) look at the accident that was also dismissed before Hurricane Sandy came which she tries to find the officer at the time, for which she found at Julie's party.

Meanwhile, the moment of the episode happens to be between Wozniak and Stahl, when they each try to call each other buffs. Stahl frozen all of Wozniak's credit cards, Wozniak turning in the video of Stahl from his hotel room with a stripper when he was at the court hearing for custody of his son. Then the gloves really came off when Stahl leak the tape of him with his relationship with Donnie Pomp and that got Woz beating the crap out of him but thanks to Harlee he stopped choking him and walked away.

"Eye of a Hurricane" was one hell of a roller coaster ride of an episode that had really good writing and the characters was unbelievable (mostly Harlee, Woz and Stahl). Liotta and Warren Kole really put the meaning of hated rivalry back on television. As Jennifer Lopez would say on American Idol, "I got all gooses (goosebumps) all over." Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10.

You Don't Know: Chicago Justice "Judge Not"

When a court judge gets gunned down outside a local bar and the only person that was there was Valdez.

After a case not going Valdez's way, and judge and her planned to met for dinner at a bar and after their meeting when they went to both their cars, the judge is shot to death. Valdez stunned and determine to help with the case but Stone wouldn't allow it.

As Stone and his team dig deep on who would want to kill the judge, they go through his family: a foster child that him and his wife were to adopt, but she gives them and the team a run for their money as she's a bit of a wild child. Also threats to the judge were looked at too after he ruled a raped case to give the defendant a lighter sentence.

Through the episode, Stone asked twice to three times to Valdez what was she doing at the bar, but doesn't give an honest answer, thinking that it wasn't a big deal in the case. Yeah it was! But when Antonio and Laura finds a lead that lead back to a rape victim that the judge had ruled, but she tells them that she didn't kill him but a gun that she owns put her towards the murder.

Well, the gun that they said she had, she totally forgot about it and left it with her ex-boyfriend's place. Antonio and Laura get there, asked a couple of questions and gets a vibe from him that this might be the suspect and it turns out that the motorcycle in the garage that had a sticker on the front of the bike window turns out to be the right guy.

As the court case begins, it was going back and forth for the Stone and heading to a down fall after Valdez was gave her testimony as she was with the judge. But after a discussion with Dr. Charles, he figured what the motivate was for the suspect to do this crime...to protect his girlfriend out of jealously that she was with another guy, who are about to get married soon and he buster it out in open court in front of everyone before the it could begin.

:"Judge Not" was a pretty good episode. It pushed the characters between Stone and Valdez's relationship. The writing was pretty good as was performances from Monica Barbaro and Winchester as well.  The story did have some twist and turns and some doubts of what Valdez was doing with the judge but turns out that he was trying to help him with his adopted daughter move on the right track. All I have to say after seeing that child is may god be with her. Overall, I give this episode 8/10.

The Blacklist Redemption "Independence, U.S.A."

Over the waters and into Russia to grandma's house we go?

When the a plane crashes in Russia, but the task force learns that what was near was totally something that could only be a threat to the United States.

When Scottie learns of a plane crash in Russia, he sends Tom and Solomon out to investigate what was near the crash site. It turns out that there's a camp that I might call it The Americans boot camp. As Tom gets photos, Scottie sends him and Nez there undercover and there they are given profile of names and their character bios.

The whole operation was to get these people to train as their characters so well that they would replace the real person in the United States and attack the country. Nez would show as a person to move up in the list to travel to the USA after showing the banker who's really boss after he touched her leg.

Also Tom gets a bit close to his fake life of a wife and bonded pretty good but she turned on him but she got the hit of it when Nez hits her with the car and they escape from Russia. But their plan was underway and with no time, Solomon and his crew got there in time to stop the bombers thanks to his wit and charm.

Meanwhile, Scottie learns that Howard had been searching for their son before he had allegedly died. But also Howard tells Tom that he thinks that Scottie is not who she said she is and that she's an impostor.  But who could you believe in this situation a man who is off his meds or the woman who takes bold moves to get things the way she wants?

"Independence, U.S.A." was very fun and intense episode. I thought the writing was pretty good and that the character performances was good as well. Love seeing Tom and Nez spending some time and getting to know each other, mostly Nez who still has a drug problem. I do love the Howard and Scottie battle as it's getting intense and with next week's episode I can't wait to see what happens next. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.
