Loyalty: Chicago PD "Brotherhood"

Just when you thought that the fall finale would be the shocking moment. Think again! Here's a recap!

Picking up from the fall finale, Voight gets Antonio out of the warehouse as cops were coming. Voight tells Ruzek the plan that he wants to tell the backup team, but when they came Ruzek tells a different story and is now part of an investigation that not only gets Ruzek between Voight but also Upton as well.

Upton tries to get Ruzek to tell the truth because she doesn't want anything happening to him. But he believes that it's better it was him than Voight. But their conversation not only could be heard but Halstead heard it and breaks it up.

Not only does Ruzek have an investigation going, but during a carjacking investigation, he gets his C.I. to help and later learns that the leader happens to be the C.I.'s brother.

Voight gets word that if Ruzek changes his story to what really happen things would go smooth. Ruzek not only thinks about it but asked for advice from Trudy that really ended with one of the best and powerful scenes of the season.

As Ruzek is being questioned about his statement. we learn that he agreed that his statement was correct. While we see Voight visit with Antonio and told him the news about Ruzek.

"Brotherhood" was not only excellent but one of the best episodes of the season. Patrick Flueger gives one of his best performances of the season. The scenes with Jason Beghe, Tracey Spiridakos and Amy Morton were powerful and intense. The character development was strong and the writing was so good. How will Ruzek get out of this? Will his relationship with Upton be endanger? Is Halstead jealous about Upzek?

Overall, I give this episode a 9.5/10.

Love or Not: Chicago Fire "Inside These Walls"

Chicago Fire returned this week with what looks to be life-changing events that will have you either shocked or not. Here's a recap!

The episode picks up right where we left off in the fall finale; Casey's apartment is on fire, and he gets Namoi out by escaping through the walls. Soon, they start telling the detective about what had happened. As much as they give him the information, the detective believes that it could be someone else who has a grudge against them. After getting word on the investigation, Casey and Namoi take care of things themselves, locate the man who left them the threatening voicemail, which they located and question him after he tried to run. But they got who was beyond all of this and nailed them. It brought closer to the case and ended the relationship between Casey and Namoi.

Meanwhile, Stella and Severide are on their separate ways, as Severide takes on refurbishing a classic boat. As for Stella, she's still having fun with her old high school friend, who tried to kiss her in her apartment. It not only freaked her out, but she realized that Severide was right about him. After some thinking and working at Molly's, she talks to Severide about how right he is and how what's been going on between them is more significant than her friend. He's been going down a dark hole since losing his father, for which I haven't seen all that much, and decides to end their relationship.

On a lighter note, the firehouse was asked to show the seniors a well-educated show about fire safety, and Boden asked Brett and Foster to do it. They try to come up with stuff from doing cheers (which I would love!) to having an American Ninja Warrior-type course, not to mention the food bar. But when they get things ready, they learn that it's not the seniors from a local high school but seniors from the senior center. Also, after there was a moment where Casey received stuff from everyone at 51, from clothes etc. Just watching Casey get that and thanking Herrmann and his wife for doing that was joyful.

"Inside These Walls" was an excellent episode from start to finish. I was surprised to see how Casey and Namoi's relationship ended. That should carry on a bit more. But some who didn't like the relationship would be grateful that it ended. I also didn't imagine Kidd ending her relationship with Severide. I would have thought she would just forgive and move on from that, but she sees more of what he's been doing. Hell, I haven't picked up on what she's been seeing. Is refurbishing a boat a way to not be with someone? Boy, I can't wait to see how they would be at work.

Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

Love, Love, No Love: Chicago Med "All The Lonely People"

After a very eventful fall finale, Chicago Med is back with a bang and some highly emotional moments that even asked some questions. Here's a recap!

The episode starts with a bang, as April gets shot by a crazy dude who was a patient in the past and had hate for women. As much as he wanted revenge, Ethan treated the patient, even if he had other medical problems. Dr. Charles gets Dr. Curry's help to evaluate the patient, but she thinks the guy is crazy because he's so lonely and makes things worse. Well, the shooter was taken into custody and gave Burgess a nice overtime.

During Dr. Charles' evaluation of the shooter, he notices that Curry isn't charming around others, even eats alone, and does many, many projects for her Ph.D. Charlie confronts her and asks her if she's been depressed because she's shown some signs of what the shooter has gone through, but she fights back with an argument that he might be the one depressed and walks out. We later see Dr. Charles over the Chicago River, thinking that he's depressed, too.

Conner and Ava take things to a new level, but when he asks her to go with him to the gala for the hybrid OR, she declines. She does have an excellent good reason: because of his dad. As Conner meets with the press, Ava grabs him to tell him she wants to go because his father has been saying nasty rumors. But is it just rumors? Even after Conner punches him, he replies, "What did she tell you?" But he walks off.

Not to mention, Conner takes a case of a son who accidentally shot himself with a nailgun. But it's not the case where the nail is placed, but mainly a worried father making his son worried about having surgery. As soon as things began to go well, the kid's air levels were not good because of the tube to help him breathe, which put the father in absolute panic mode. As much as it turned out to be simple, Conner had to call Ava to assist him after that mess.

Well, I had to save the best for last in this case for #Manstead. Natalie gets word from the FBI that Will is coming home, but he's a bit jumpy. But she gets a bigger surprise that he's back that day and sees her at the hospital. Yeah might be pissed, but Natalie was so happy to see him back and alive. Things look well until they go home, and she sees he has a licensed gun. Well, after seeing that, she tells him that he can't stay with her with that gun in the house, and he leaves. Of course, he doesn't need a gun; he's got his brother, Jay!

"All the Lonely People" was excellent and very emotional at times of an episode. The moment Natalie and Will reunited was very emotional, not to mention Natalie comforting a father whose child was born the same day he lost his wife. And not to mention watching Ethan and April going at it, too. Ethan still cares for April, and I don't think his true feelings are gone yet.

Also, Casey Tutton, who plays Nurse Monique Lawson, was excellent and stole the episode with her character going through the emotions of the shooting but blaming herself for turning the shooter down for a cup of coffee.

I think now, until we see Will being pushed to the limit with his fears. The gun is step one, but what could be next for him to go off? This is going to be one exciting character development. I hope Manstead won't be doomed.

Overall, I give this episode 9/10.

Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekker have a difference in opinion in dealing with a woman in desperate need of a kidney transplant.

I'm literally at lost for words with Manstead but even though I had a feeling that they were going to have a rocky relationship when they came back. I understand what Will is doing, but I'm totally on Natalie's side with no gun in the house at all, even if there is a safe case for it. Will don't need a gun, he's got his brother Jay to do that. Hello! Ethan still loves April and it really showed. I wonder if these two will finally say what they feel. Rhodes and Bekker have been a ride this season and I can't wait to see what happens after Conner gave his father a punch to the mouth.

Well, after this week's episode, who saw any of that coming? The Casey and Namoi relationship seemed to be coming to an end but Severide and Kidd were ones I didn't see coming. I thought Kidd would apologize and Severide would forgive and move on. But she is right on one thing, he hasn't been right since Benny died. I just wonder since I mention that I thought that Brett and Casey should hook up that maybe it should be a thing, even though she's going out with the Chaplain. But I know it's a long shot to go with but I think of it like I see it.
