Lockdown: Chicago Med "The Poison Inside Us"
As the ED goes on Emergency lockdown, will chaos rule? Here's a recap of Chicago Med.
After saying goodbye to Emily and Bernie, Ethan deals with a patient who requested that he see him. But it turns out that he wasn't a patient but a widower of a patient who died under Ethan's care. Demanding answers from Ethan or will release a canister of an unknown substance. As Ethan tells him what happened with his wife, it just isn't enough, and he opens the canister, but as Ethan dives on him, it is too late.
The ED goes on an emergency bypass lockdown. Not only have patients moved to the ambulance bay, but Conner and Ava deal with a patient in the ED OR; Natalie and Charlies have to perform an emergency c-section on a bipolar patient. Will is feeling the pressure from the FBI, and Jay and April spring to the moment to save Ethan.
With the lockdown, Conner decides to keep his patient in his ED OR with Ava. When the patient's spleen wasn't healing independently, Conner decided to perform surgery. But with no blood to transfuse, Ava gives her own to the patient to help Conner take the spleen out. Just as Ava is about to faint, he takes the spleen out and pulls the transfuser out of Ava.
As Natalie and Dr. Charles treat a bipolar and pregnant patient and take her up to OB, they get stuck on the rehab floor that wasn't done remodeling. With the lockdown and no signal to make a call, Charles advises Natalie to perform a C-Section. But Natalie gets worried and tells Charlie they need to find someone or get to someone fast. That's when he pulls the old "I'm on the phone" trick on her and as she performs the C-Section. There were some difficulties, but both mother and baby were fine.
After getting everyone out of the ED, Ethan becomes a victim of the toxic substance as he collapses. With both the suspect and Ethan experiencing the same symptoms, they only had one medicine that could help with their breathing. With the suspect getting treatment over Ethan, April returns to the ED for the same treatment. But when the suspect dies, April thinks that Ethan could be next til Fire and PD learn what the substance is: cyanide.
Will gets pressure from the Feds when he gets Ray to come to Med to get an MRI to rule out a stroke. Even Jay doesn't give any comfort advice. After the lockdown was over and Ray and his kids walked out, Will's abdominal pain worsened, and throwing up blood became an ulcer. Natalie treats him and asks what's happening, but he won't admit it.
As Ava recovers, she admits to Conner that she was the one who got his father to be the donor. But she acknowledged that she hadn't lost him, and soon after, they finally kissed. As Ethan will make a full recovery, April makes her way to see him until she sees him with his ex-girlfriend, Vicki, who happens to still be on his emergency contact list.
"The Poison Inside Us" was like a mini-crossover episode with many intense moments. The writing of this episode was strong and had solid character development. I'm finally happy for Ava and Conner for finally kissing. I don't think Ethan and Vicki are back together after this moment, but I'm worried about Natalie and Will; if Will doesn't tell her what's happening, it will bite him in the butt. And I don't want #Manstead to end. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

A Driver's Rush: Fresh Off The Boat "Driver's Eddie"
As Eddie is taking Driver's Ed, he wants to rush things to get going. But will Louis help him?
As Eddie starts Driver's Ed, he asked Jessica and Louis to teach him to drive. But Jessica's plan was to let the teacher teach him, but when Louis takes Eddie out and gets confused about causing an accident by a stereotype cop; it gets Louis to teach him.
After given Eddie the proper driver's test, Louis doesn't think he's quite ready yet. But Eddie jumps to Marvin to learn how to drive until; he gets into an accident from one of Eddie's friends. Eddie gets Louis to admit that this is about stereotyping, but after a good talk with Marvin about teaching children to drive; Louis gives the keys to Louis to go see the new movie everyone's been talking about: Rush Hour.
Meanwhile, Evan wants to know why Emery and Grandma don't want him to hang around. Emery tells him that's because he's a "stick in the mud" because of his critic approach to everything. But after coming to terms, he sits with Emery and listens to Grandma's stories that's has a golden singing owl; while chewing on taffy to keep their mouth busy.
"Driver's Eddie" was a good episode that had some humorist moments. As much as I enjoyed the bonding between Eddie and Louis on driving, I was enjoying more of the Emery, Evan and Grandma story in this episode. Just watching Even worried why his brother and grandmother won't involve him in their spending time together. Also mentioning Rush Hour in this episode was good and made the ending quite hilarious on talking about the film. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.
You can catch Fresh Off The Boat Fridays at 8/7c on ABC.

Acceptance: The Good Place "Chapter 33: A Fracture Inheritance"
This week's episode of The Good Place was another marvelous piece.
When Eleanor meets with her mother; she realizes that she's not the same person that she grown up. She's a family woman with a husband and a step-daughter. Trying to convince Michael that she's just scamming them. Eleanor accepts that she's really changed. She tells Michael why she couldn't have that kind of mother growing up. But she finally sees the truth part of her mother when she finds her cash in the laundry detergent box. She advises her to do something with that money like putting it to her step-daughter's college fund.
Meanwhile, Tahani tries to make amends with her sister, who's hosting an art gallery and handing out breakfast to the visitors. After many attempts, Tahani and Chidi get arrested from the police. But Tahani realizes from her sister's paintings were of their parents making them compete when they were kids. Tahani walks to her sister and gives her a hug and the two are sisters once again.
As Eleanor and Michael head off to the airport to meet with Chidi, Tahani, and Janet, she talks to Michael about her relationships. That got Michael to tell her that moment in the reboot of her and Chidi loving one another.
"A Fractured Inheritance" was truly one of my favorite episodes of the season. The character developments of Eleanor and Tahani was not only good; but it brought out some emotional moments and growth to the characters. Especially for Eleanor going through the acceptance process that her mother as a good person. I thought it was Kristen Bell's best performances of the series so far. Even Jameela Jamil gives a nice performance too in this episode.
Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
You can catch The Good Place Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
Reality and Fear: Superstore "Delivery Day"
This week's episode was not only hilarious, but it was also a strong conversation about health care insurance too. Here's a recap!
When Dina is heading to the hospital for a scheduled C-Section, Amy's water breaks too. As they get settled in their rooms, Amy learned about her insurance isn't good at that hospital; even if it's what Glenn has too. So they headed down to the clinic; which looked like a place that's about to be condemned. Let alone she shares a room with a dead body with its eyes open.
Meanwhile, Dina gets the treatment of her life when she sees a doctor that she's trying to impress. But after learning that she' gonna need surgery for a C-section. Worried about the surgery, she's not the only one as Glenn come along too. But with Dina's music playing (theme music from the circus), Glenn's view was a memorable one. He gets to see more than what he's barren for seeing the intestines; which made him throw up but sees the baby girl and was as happy as can be.
As Amy delivers, she gets an old doctor to help deliver the baby, but also discussing with Jonah their relationship status. As Amy's Ex-husband and the father of the baby comes, she delivers a baby boy. Things look good for Amy and Jonah and as Jonah leaves, Garrett and Mateo stopped by as they delivered a congratulations card, which Garrett had a hell of a time coming up with something funny.
"Delivery Day" was an amazing episode. I had hoped to see this moment this season. In last season when Amy learns she's pregnant, I just had this idea that she and Dina would deliver their babies together and with that moment being neighbors was hilarious. They really played off the character very well with the insurance issues to facing surgery and even coming up with a funny saying in a congratulations card. With everyone's performance in this episode good, Lauren Ash steals the episode when she talks to Glenn's daughter to give some advice before they take her, which was tissue worthy moment.
Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
You can catch Superstore Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC.
