Making Friends and Celebrate: Champions "Vincemas"

When Vince and Matthew plan on a weekend camping trip for Michael, it may not be the kind of trip for Michael to go.

"Vincemans" was another installment of great character development, writing and performance from he cast. The episode deals with how Michael tries to fit in and make news friends because Vince gives him advice and wants him to be like he was in high school, but it leads to Michael joining an Indian group that aren't really who they seem to be, mainly going clubbing at night for example.

Also with Vince planning to be gone for the weekend, Ruby and the crew plan for a "Vincemas" event but Vince learns about it and makes one hilarious of a scene when coming up behind a partying Ruby about how Vince isn't hear.

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

Best Buddies: A.P. Bio "Durbin Crashes"

This episode was one of Patton Oswalt's best ones yet.

As Durbin hears the rest of the teachers talking about how they love a hit sci fi show, that seems to be Midnight, Texas, and wants to ignore any spoilers because he hasn't seen any of the episodes yet due to his wife not ready to watch it with him. After asking Jake for advise about the situation, he takes what Jack agrees and implies it, which leads to him getting kicked out of his house and living staying with Jack.

But when he stays with Jack, it because one weird stay as Durbin has sleeping walking issues and also tries to be Jack's wingman when meeting his former ex high school girlfriend, who happens to be split with her boyfriend. Jack tries to fix it between Durbin and his wife but it turns that they are both weird and lets Durbin stay for another few weeks.

Meanwhile, after getting his students to search Devin with disturbing words to get it trending, the students had a better idea that would help Jack but also get them to learn Biology, which was to find a way to plant murderous evidence on Devin. But after it seems to go well and too much learning, Jack stops it and gets them to use google to search Devin with disturbing words connecting to him.

"Durbin Crashes" was a good episode, mainly watching Oswalt's performance really stood out with good character development and just darn funny. Even the students trying to come up with a way to plant a murder on Devin was pretty funny with the way how they pursued Jack to allow it. Overall, I give this episode a 8/10.

Searching and Confronting: Life In Pieces "Sitter Dating Sister Mattress"

This week's episode of Life In Piece was another full of funny moments.

Whether it's from Greg and Jen finding the perfect babysitter from an email online babysitting app, that quickly lands awkwardly for both the sitter as she's a bit wacky. But Jen and Greg make it awkward as they act like they're picking a first online date that lands them back to watching Lark again. Even Sam and Heather's story of learning about Sam's boyfriend, who seems terrific, turns out that he wasn't too faithful and had more than a few girlfriends.

The two best stories of the episode were Matt learning that Colleen's sister would be a surrogate for their baby but thinks he might have slept with her one night years ago. But when confronted about it, they didn't and announced to the family until Greg realized that he had slept with her more than four times.

And when Joan and John search for a mattress for their bed, it turns into an all-day, trying out and testing each one. Overthinking is more like it, and watching Joan sick and tired of it puts the situation between her and John as something downright funny.

This episode was satisfactory; like other episodes, it made me laugh and connect with related stories. There was good character development, and the performances from the cast were good, too. Overall, I give this episode an 8/10.

A Trouble Friendship: Chicago PD "Payback"

When a robbery turns into a homicide, the intelligence unit will investigate to find out that the suspect is someone close.

When Ruzek and Atwater meet up with Ruzek's CI, Ray, who happens to be a former cop, trying to get information. They get a call of an apartment robbery that also turned homicide when a little boy got shot in the head while just laying on the couch.

The investigation lead to a Latin gangs, but it seems that the Intel that Ruzek and Atwater got was false and questioned Ray about it. But the investigation lead to another way that all of this could be connected to a dirty cop, who happens to be in the narcotics unit, who's had records of making connections to gang members. But it turns out that the cop happens to be set up after she realized that she let her Intel use her place a couple of times. That Intel happens to be Ray. 

Ruzek and Atwater try to stop him as Ray was packing up at his boat but Ruzek crashes his party and the two meet face to face as he tries to get Ruzek to shoot him. But that wasn't going to happen as Ray was bluffing to Ruzek about having a gun thanks to Atwater tough tackles.

Meanwhile, it seems that Al's luck isn't going the way that he or Voight was hoping for as Voight got inside information about the witness who saw Al and Erin dumping that body. Al remembers him, who was trying to break into his car that night, and wants to see him. But Voight won't let that happen as he doesn't want him to jeopardize this.

Voight meets with the witness, who thinks that he was selling drugs but was just lending some money from a friend and not to mention spotted him at an addiction group meeting. Al gets worried and tries to call their bluff by filling out his retirement papers, but later on Al battles with demons as he plants drugs in the witness' car and gets busted for it. But word gets to Trudy and Voight that Al's pension has been on hold.

"Payback" was a good episode from start to finish. It may not be one of the best episodes this season but it sure was entertaining and satisfying to watch. I find the character development between Ray and Ruzek okay as there wasn't much to go on but just that it seems that they were former partners but never really give why Ray was like this to Ruzek. Overall, I give this episode 8/10.

Bold Decisions and Shocking Revelations: Chicago Med "Devil in Disguise"

From a bold surgical procedure to two bold medical cases and even a bold decision that could help someone's career. Here's a recap of this week's Chicago Med.

When conjoined twins comes in, a couple weeks early before their separation surgery, for a heart issue, the team thinks that the best way is to move ahead the separation and to save one over the other. But Rhodes thinks there's a better way to save both and it divides both him and Bekker of their opinions on the situation. With the team informs the parents of the first procedure without informing them about Rhodes' plan.

But Rhodes gets the final word as he sneaks and talks to the parents about how he could save both and they agreed with his plan. With the team pissed, mostly the pediatrician, Rhodes performs with some complications at first but goes smooth and the twins are safe and ready for their separation in the weeks to come.

Meanwhile, Halstead tries to help a father, who might be suffering from a misdiagnosis, but when they learn of what he has the only thing that he's concern is the payment. This was due to the father's decision of getting a cheaper insurance so his son could go to college with the money he tried to save. He gave Halstead an earful of why couldn't he let him die. It's given Halstead another week of trying to help a patient even if they don't want it. He tries to talk to Natalie about it but she tries to avoid him at all cost after she wanted a break. But it gave us a nice Halstead-Rhodes bromance at the bar but leaves with that pediatrician sitting next to Halstead and ordered him a drink. Looks like that break with Natalie might be soon break up.

Talking about medical cases, Charles and Reese tries to diagnosis a patient, who's mother thinks she's possessed by the devil. But the father, otherwise thinks it has to due with her mother trapping her at her home and gives some bad vibes from Reese, who's kind of reliving what she sees in her relationship with her father. But when Charles and Reese tries to talk with the patient, she was talking gibberish and wetting the bed, which lead to Charles to talk with the parents and asked them about a certain book that he figured out she was saying.

Once he read the book, the patient was freaking out and even talking in words, for which the mother figured out why she was scared of the book. The father has done bad things to her when she was a little girl and as soon as he had enough, he walks out but Reese gives him a earful til Charles orders her to stop. 

Also Maggie could be facing termination from last week's doing but she gets word that if she had her EMT licence with an updated card, she would be safe. But wasn't the case as her card had expired two weeks ago and goes beyond to Barry for help to get a card renewed before her hearing. But as she got her card and headed up to the hearing, the heating was cancelled due to the family sticking up for her for saving their daughter.

And Ethan accepts his sister to stay with him for a couple of weeks. But when April finds out that she disobeyed his order of not having anyone over, she gives her a chance.

"Devil in Disguise" was amazing episode that kept me intrigue for the whole hour with some of the most interesting stories and character developments, mainly Charles and Reese's patient (which was  my favorite storyline of the episode), Halstead's third encounter with another patient that doesn't want help and trying to get Natalie's opinion. The Rhodes' story was good, there wasn't much doing between Bekker and him that I thought there was going to be. I was worried that Maggie would be the one to go, but glad she's staying. I would assume that her and Barry are okay with how things went while back. I'm not liking the last scene with Halstead and the pediatrician getting equated with drinks. Wouldn't that make the break move into break up with Manning?

Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10.

Beauty is Within the Items Itself: Life in Pieces "Pageant Bike Animals Jerky"

From a toddler rising to star beauty pageants to a musical about keeping your stuffed animals, this week's episode of Life in Pieces was another hit episode.

"Pageant Bike Animals Jerky" was a nonstop laughing episode of fun humor and outstanding performances. From Colleen getting Lark into the beauty pageant by dressing up, shaking her padded butt, and dancing like she was about to be on Toddlers and Tiaras to trying to get Joan's bike back after it was stolen, finding it on Craigslist and take it back with the help from Greg, Matt, and Tim.

But the one amazingly brilliant story was the musical story of how Sophia should keep her stuffed animals even though Heather doesn't think she's using them anymore. It was catchy, witty, and caught what I believe was the emotion of the connection between child and their toys that means that most.

The last story wasn't as much as the other three, but it still was funny enough to be a little story.

It was a brilliant episode, and after it aired, it should be renewed for a fourth season. If the other shows on CBS's Thursday Night all be renewed, why not this one? The writing seemed to be good, and the performance from Giselle Eisenberg, Hanks, Brandt, Angelique Cabral, and Wiest. Overall, I give this episode an 8.5/10.

Playing the Favorites: Champions "My Fair Uncle"

Just as questions are being asked about how Vince and Matthew are taking care of Michael, until an unexpected guest makes his a visit.

Questioning how Vince takes care of Michael, the school has him and Matthew read Michael's paper about his daily morning that describes his father gets to sleep with a ton of women. Matthew tries to get Vince to hold off on dating for awhile, but when an attractive woman comes up to Vince about wanting to go out with him, he turns her down.

But that would change when Michael's uncle makes a visit and asked to hang out with him and take him around New York. At first it didn't seem right to see how an uncle treats his son better than he can but when Vince gets a message from that girl earlier, he accepts the offer.

Just as Michael is having a great time with his uncle, Matthew jealous calls Priya about it and learns that her brother is a user of drugs. He stops Vince and the get going to get Michael back just in time as Michael was asked to pee in a cup for his uncle.

Later on Vince apologies to Michael about the way that he has been around him since living with him and Matthew and will hold off dating for a while. But at the end when Dana comes in with the new plunger, there were something between them that could spell out romance.

"My Fair Uncle" was another strong episode that had good character development and down right hilarious moments. So much mentioning of the Broadway show Mean Girls, for which if Tina Fey sings at the end: I want to go to there and see. I really thought this was such a good episode and performance for Andy Favreau as Matthew. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.
