I'm literally at lost for words with Manstead but even though I had a feeling that they were going to have a rocky relationship when they came back. I understand what Will is doing, but I'm totally on Natalie's side with no gun in the house at all, even if there is a safe case for it. Will don't need a gun, he's got his brother Jay to do that. Hello! Ethan still loves April and it really showed. I wonder if these two will finally say what they feel. Rhodes and Bekker have been a ride this season and I can't wait to see what happens after Conner gave his father a punch to the mouth.

You can catch Chicago Med next Wednesday at 8/7c on NBC.

Well, after this week's episode, who saw any of that coming? The Casey and Namoi relationship seemed to be coming to an end but Severide and Kidd were ones I didn't see coming. I thought Kidd would apologize and Severide would forgive and move on. But she is right on one thing, he hasn't been right since Benny died. I just wonder since I mention that I thought that Brett and Casey should hook up that maybe it should be a thing, even though she's going out with the Chaplain. But I know it's a long shot to go with but I think of it like I see it.

You can catch Chicago Fire next Wednesday at 9/8c on NBC.

Oh man, I literally can't wait for the return of this show. As much as I don't want the season to end, I really want to see where we are going after the events in the fall finale, even though they are in the good place the last time we left them. I really hate to predict on a show like this because it's one of those shows to watch, laugh and enjoy the adventure with these rich and well-developed characters.

You can catch The Good Place Thursdays at a new time 9:30/8:30c after the premiere of Brooklyn Nine-Nine on NBC.

Personal Sight: FBI "Prey"/"Crossfire"

"Prey"

When an injured woman appears at someone's home with stab wounds around, the FBI must find her killer but it turns into even more than they thought it was.

The FBI takes the case of a woman who escaped death but leads them to what is a graveyard of other women. Not only are they searching for the murder but also the woman's sister as well. Learning that what this whole thing is sex trafficking and gets one of their own in an undercover sting to get their suspect. Maggie gets the suspect to give them the name of the boss, which one of them happens to be one that Maggie and Zidan interviewed earlier. After capturing the suspects of the crimes, Maggie and Zidan found their victim's sister as well.

"Prey" was a not only strong but a powerful character development piece for Maggie Bell. You can see her grow through this episode with strength and courage with her history that she mentions a bit. The writing was so good and kept me interested from the beginning to end. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

"Crossfire"

When a lawyer gets shot to death in daylight, the FBI tackles their toughest case yet.

Agents Bell and Zidan take on the case of a lawyer getting shot in brawn daylight from a snipper. From interviewing the wife that they thought had a motive because he was meeting with a divorce lawyer, but wasn't at all. Later on, a cop gets shot and a suspect was seen running away from the scene that happens to be a kid. When Bell and Zidan capture the kid, they try to talk with him but learns that he didn't do anything wrong as he was being taken care of from the shooter.

After talking with Dana, they try to reason with the kid and asked him where the shooter is located and gives them that he's at a church. As everyone secures the site, Maggie and Zidan tries to reason with the suspect but doesn't seem to come around. When someone is running in the streets, the suspect was about to take the shot but gets killed on Maggie's orders after trying to reason with him failed.

The after effects from that case carries out with Maggie talking with the victim's wife about how she acted and didn't tell her about the motive. But she gives her advice for carrying on. Zidan tries to help the kid because he understands what it was like growing up in an environment.

"Crossfire" was another powerful episode. Strong character development from not only Bell but Zidan as he understands the kid that was caught in the shooting and growing up with a father who forces religion on them. It was a well-performed episode from the ensemble cast. Overall, I give this episode a 9/10.

You can catch FBI Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS.

Couple's Retreat: Fresh Off the Boat "Just the Two of Us"

Image result for fresh off the boat "Just the Two of Us"

The first new episode of the new year, Jessica and Louis take a trip that more of working instead of relaxing. Here's a recap!

When Jessica, Louis, and the kids try to win a radio contest, Louis got to be the 88th caller to win. But what they won was a choice between a trip or computer software. Jessica decides the trip that apparently is a couple's retreat to fix relationships.

While there Jessica and Louis meet with Guru Sheela, who uses exercises to help couples on their relationships. Instead of seeing exercises, Jessica sees it as a competition against the other couples but failed each exercise and later realizes that it's Louis'attitude. Soon Jessica comes to terms to agree to some of Louis' ideas in their marriage.

Meanwhile, Eddie isn't too pleased with the driving arrangements as grandma is his license passenger but don't like his style of music. But when he ease the music on her, she not only becomes a fan of Will Smith but knows what Eddie is up too and pulls a fast one by not riding with him to his little birthday party. The two saw eye to eye and comes to terms.

"Just The Two Of Us" was a nice and solid episode that had good moments. The Jessica and Louis retreat storyline was good, but it could easily be best by Eddie and grandma's storyline with the Will Smith references and using the phrase, "Just the two of us" when calling their time in the car. But it was Emery and Evan that pretty much stole the episode with their commentary.

Overall, I give this episode 8/10.

You can catch Fresh Off the Boat Fridays at 8/7c on ABC.
